Translation

Say; “I am upon a clear proof from my Lord. But you have denied it. The punishment you are seeking so rapidly is not with me. The ruling on hastening or delaying punishment only belongs to Allah. Allah is proclaiming the truth and Allah is the best of the Judges.”

Tafsir

Say, My Messenger, I am upon a clear proof. I am on a clear proof, bringing you the Qur'an and showing you miracles, which you cannot deny, and which no human being can find fault with. That is, I have come to you with proofs. There is no god but Allah. Allah is the owner and creator of the entire universe. The fact that every mind accepts Allah and comprehends the Word of Allah is a proof and a proof for people of sound mind. O people! Although Allah has invited you to guidance and salvation, you disbelieve in Allah and deny Him. In this case, I am not saying that the punishment you seek is in my hands. It is only with Allah. The hastening and delaying of the punishment and the judgment of all other events is in Allah's hand. Only Allah is the judge.

Allah always speaks the truth. He invites His creation to salvation. Allah is the owner of mercy and compassion. He does not wish to harm His servants, but every soul will be held to account for what it has earned. According to the verse (What people earn is the reward of their own two hands), Allah, being the owner of justice, wants to protect people from the punishment of that harsh day of reckoning. The judgment of that Day of Reckoning is reserved for Allah alone. Allah is the best of judges. He does not do an iota of injustice in His judgment.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-An'am, verse 57: Say: I am upon clear proof from my Lord. Clear proof: I, although I told you of my prophethood, a clear proof – I am upon miracles, he says. Miracles. He will also show miracles. Yes. Besides, the clear proof is the Holy Quran. The verses.

If this were made up by a human, you would find in it many (?) words, says Allah Almighty. The Quran is a miracle anyway. Yes. But you denied it, he says. That is, the word of Allah, the clear proof, beyond human qualities – you too, although you know that it could not, sir, be said by a human, denied Allah's word. The punishment you ask to hasten is not in my hands, he says. Yes. You know: if you are truthful, rain stones on our heads from the sky – this is what people said. If you are truthful, come on, destroy us with (?). People are always after such wonders. Yes, these arise from people's weakness of faith, weakness of faith. If Allah Almighty had sent a prophet, if the Prophet had not been the Seal of the Prophets,

if, at a time when Allah Almighty would still send prophets, we had lived,

with this reason He gave us, if someone says I am a prophet, his speech, his conduct, his manners tell what he is. Every mind knows this. With that reason, yes, one says: you are a true prophet. Or if his deeds did not match what he said, or what he said turned out to harm people, it becomes clear that he is satanic. In this situation, Allah Almighty, having sent the Seal of the Prophets, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as a true prophet, and a clear proof beyond human speech – even if men and jinn joined, a verse's equivalent they could not bring – these people, these people, with their own reason, can they not understand that the Prophet is a prophet, can they? They understand.

Why do they rebel? Among themselves they say this. Is this what Allah found, after all His sending, the prophet among them, they say. And looking at each other, talking, they mock. Not by the person's existence, not by the person's self either, but by the word coming out of a person's mouth, his place is made clear. By the word coming out of his mouth. If the word coming out of that person's mouth is Allah's word, if that person acts worthy of that word, that person has been honoured with that word. And also, if he teaches people what they do not know, and also invites them to the truth and brings them out of darkness into light, then that person, upon a mercy from his Lord, charged with a duty, Allah Almighty sends them to His servants.

People, thinking highly of themselves – those who in this way speak the truth, make people seek the verses, make people love Allah – these people weigh heavy on their feelings of the nafs. They stand against them.

In this situation people split into groups. So all the kinds, three classes coming from one another. There, they are separated. This separation: those on the right, those on the left, and also this class of the muqarrabin.

Man is the one who uses his reason. His reason. And again man is the one who, understanding the paths to the truth very well, to those who teach what he does not know, with loyalty binds himself to Allah's knowledge or His verses – that is man. He can distinguish truth from falsehood. Yes. The verses let us distinguish truth from falsehood very well and introduce people to us very well. People. Through what? Under the light of the verses.

Yes.

So: I am upon clear proof from my Lord.

But you denied it. You denied them. The punishment you ask to hasten is not in my hands, he says. How beautifully he says it. The keys of the unseen are in Allah's hands. How beautifully the verses always support each other. Yes. In the matter of hastening or delaying the punishment the judgement belongs only to Allah. You know, they asked for punishment from, well, the prophets too; they used to say: you wait too, he says. I too am waiting. Allah Almighty gives them two or three days' respite. So that they don't say He destroyed us at once. He gives them (?). Two or three days. At the end of those three days the angels who came to Lot say this.

When will morning come, he says. Isn't morning near, he says. This is very meaningful. When I hear it, tears come from my eyes. When will morning come, he says. Isn't morning near, he says. The words: isn't morning near. So when they too go against the verses like this, they say: come on, let Him send it, let Him bring it, let Him do it. But because destructions were lifted for the Prophet's sake, calamities don't let go of them. Yes.

He tells the truth. That is, Allah tells the truth. And He is the best of judges.

My Beloved, say: I am upon clear proof. By bringing you the Holy Quran, which you cannot deny and in which no human can find a lack or error, by showing miracles, I am upon clear proof, he says.

Yes, the Holy Quran is coming. Isn't it a proof, isn't it a miracle? They know about me too: I have no Arabic, no memorisation, no outward knowledge either. But we explain the verses (?) beautifully. Is there a verse that contradicts any (?)? So we too are upon a duty from our Lord, upon clear proof. This proof: writing these commentaries, writing these translations, the errors in the translations finding. Isn't it a clear proof to you? Yes.

I am upon clear proof. By bringing you the Holy Quran, which you cannot deny and in which no human can find a lack or error, by showing miracles, I am upon clear proof.

That is, I have come to you with proofs, with proofs. What are these proofs? The Quran. I too, as I said before, for 37 years, 38 years, close to 40 years kept hidden. Why? I said nothing. I had no evidence in hand, no proof. Now, look, there are commentaries. Now, there are translations. Throwing these aside, and this many proofs aside pushing, standing against the verses, those who insult the people who tell the truth – realise their state yourselves. Are they ve ashâbü'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbü'l-meymene, or ve ashâbü'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbü'l-meş'eme?

That is, I have come to you with proofs. There is no god but Allah. Allah is the owner and creator of the whole universe. Every mind's accepting Allah, grasping Allah's word, to people of sound mind is a proof and evidence. Every mind's knowing Allah. In this situation, the one who denies Allah, who tries to prove His non-existence, who says we came from apes – even Darwin knows Allah's existence. If he didn't know, he wouldn't bother with something that doesn't exist. Yes.

In this situation, these things we see with our eyes – in our Lord's verse too, to them: they said yes, He says. Since every mind knows there is a Lord who created them, that Lord says, you knew Me. That is, you knew you were created. There is a Lord who created you, He says. They said yes, He says. Yes. There is a Lord, you knew, He says. If our Lord says this, every mind, every person, wherever he may be born, even if it is a place he has never heard of, even if on a deserted island he were left as a child and grew up there before reaching maturity, he too knows that he was created by a being.

There is no god but Allah. Allah is the owner and creator of the whole universe. Every mind's accepting Allah, grasping Allah's word, to people of sound mind is a proof and evidence. To people of sound mind. O people! Although Allah invites you to guidance and salvation, you deny Allah. You call Him a liar. In this situation I do not say: the one you ask to hasten, the punishment, is in my hands. I do not say so, he says. You want this hastened punishment, but it is in my hands. However much I am a prophet, however much I have come to (?), the decree and decision belong to Allah. Yes. Because He has programmed these worlds.

He knows what every single cell to come until the Day of Judgment will do. Accordingly He Himself makes that decision according to this program.

So, O people, although Allah invites you to guidance and salvation, you deny Allah, you call Him a liar. In this situation, I do not say the punishment you ask to hasten is in my hands. It is only with Allah. Hastening and delaying the punishment, and the judgement of all other events, are with Allah. Judgement belongs only to Allah. Judgement. Well, Hodja, you said judgement (?) to Allah, didn't you, well now did this (?)? The judgement I mean, the judgement I give within my own will, is in my hands. The judgement people give is in people's own hands. Allah Almighty does not interfere in it. If He interfered, He would not blame people.

If He had given the judgement over man, He would also have done away with hell. So judgement is in man's own hands. Well then, the judgement here? The judgement here is the torments that will come from Him, the hardships. How shall I put it. And the judgement He will give on the Day of Judgment. It belongs to Him alone. What are we saying anyway? This is only with Allah. What is this? The calamities that will be given to you. The calamity or mercies He will give you according to this world He has programmed. This is only in Allah's hands. Hastening and delaying the punishment, and the judgement of all other events too, Allah's (?) – judgement belongs only to Allah.

In this situation. The judgement you ask for. You know, the people of Ad, the people of Thamud, the people of Lot, sir, the people of Rass, the throne of Sheba, the people of Sheba, the people of the Sabbath, Pharaoh's events. Weren't they within Allah Almighty's judgement? This is the judgement. This judgement you ask for, delaying or bringing near, is in Allah's hands, he says. Allah always (?) the truth. He invites His creatures to salvation. Allah is the possessor of compassion and mercy. He does not want to torment His servants. But every soul is called to account for what it has earned. Allah Almighty says this.

We today, He says, with justice to you – what everyone earned, of their own hands as the counterpart, without any injustice done to anyone, to them in full will be given, He says. In this situation, in this situation We did not wrong you, He says. You wronged your own souls, He says. Your own souls. Yes.

What people earn is the counterpart of their own (?). According to the verse, since Allah is the possessor of justice, from that hard day of reckoning's punishment He wants to protect people. The judgement of that day of reckoning belongs to Allah alone. Allah is the best of judges. He gives judgement too, but concerning us He gives good judgements. If He gave it in the hereafter too, then it would contradict His attribute of justice. With His justice He gives the finest judgement. With His justice. In the judgement He gives, He does not commit an atom's weight of injustice. Yes.
