Translation

Allah is the One Who deals you death by putting you asleep at night, and Who knows all the things that you do during the day. And Allah wakes you up again, until a determined time (until the final death of worldly life comes). At the end, the return is to Allah. Allah will inform you about the things you have done on earth.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) takes our souls from the world of Berzah where our souls are waiting and sends them to the world. When they complete their life in the world, they return to the same place. The souls sent to the realm of property take on the guise of a body. These bodies need to eat, drink and rest. Because the bodies are tired from working all day long, Allah (swt) created sleep. In the state of sleep, He makes the soul to be retrieved in connection with the body by the beings whom He has appointed in charge.

This is the half-dead state of sleep. In this state, man is not responsible to Allah (swt) for what he does with his body in sleep. Since it is the soul that is responsible to Allah (swt), it must come back to life in order to fulfill its covenant. When the human being awakens from sleep and comes back to himself in the guise of a body, he begins to live out his covenant with Allah (swt) through his desires and wishes. In this way, he continues to live his life until he completes his covenant.

(He knows what you do during the day;) In all the matter and molecules of every being He has created, the signals emitted by the plus and minus charged electrodes in the nuclei of atoms are like a transmitter station. Allah (swt), who programs the signals emitted by all beings, is aware of the movements and wishes of the particles, wherever they are in the universe.

(Then He awakens you by day so that the appointed term may be completed.) The meaning of term here is a lifetime to live within the covenant He has given. He awakens people so that this life can be completed. In other words, the souls that have been taken away are returned back to those whose life span has not ended. In this case, the feelings and emotions of the person who wakes up from sleep and their desires and wishes begin. In order for him to live his life according to these desires and wishes, Allah (swt) creates events and the human being fulfills his destiny through his own actions. The good or bad deeds he does within these actions become his rewards and sins. In this way, man bears witness to himself, his surroundings and Allah. In this way, he fulfills his deadline by living.

(To him is your final return. Then he will inform you of the deeds you did in this world). At the end of a person's life, his soul is taken away and he is taken to his place in the world of Berzah. Here he waits for the Day of Judgment. After the Doomsday, the Judgment begins. All created beings are recreated again. And they will be gathered at the Judgment.

Decaying bodies are resurrected. There is a core in the human body that does not burn, does not decay and does not disappear. According to a verse of the Qur'an in which Allah says, "We have revealed to the world what it can and cannot eat from the human body, and what it can and cannot eat from the human body," this seed, that is, the seed, will bring the body to perfection in the same way on the Day of Judgment. The souls, which have no death on them and which are waiting in the realm of the afterlife, will instantly meet with the body on the Day of Judgment, like receiver and transmitter devices. According to the verse in which it is said, "When you come to the presence with a driver" (when the souls are paired), the souls and bodies will find each other. After that, the Tribunal-i Kübra begins. On that day, which is called the Day of Reckoning, each soul will be held to account. Allah will inform them of what they have done in the world. When the time comes, the verses cited as sources will be explained in detail.

What is said in the video

...(?). We left off at verse 60 of Surah Al-An'am, it says.

It is He who puts you to sleep at night and makes you as if dead. The verse.

And He knows what you do by day.

Then, so that the appointed term may be completed, He wakes you by day. Finally, your return is to Him, then He will inform you of what you did in the world, it says.

Allah Almighty gave mankind a body. Take this body just like a car, or take it as a horse. A machine that gives the soul its appearance. A machine made of flesh and bone. If you run a horse too much, it gets tired. And a car, if you keep giving it too much gas, keep pushing it, it overheats too. They need rest. Since bodies are also a mount, the soul's mount, they need rest. So people who work and get tired all day lie down at night and rest. I mean, the body goes into idle and that body rests. The next day it will go to work again, because that body will gather its strength. Allah Almighty has created a beautiful thing, by bringing about night and day.

In this case, it says, night: it is He who puts you to sleep at night and makes you as if dead. He rests your body. And you fall asleep. It is not in your hands. If We did not let you sleep for a few days, even if you pushed yourself on your feet, you would collapse. That body wants it. He knows what you do by day. Now, doesn't He know what we do at night? At night We put you to sleep, it says. We put you to sleep, He knows. He also knows what we do by day. By day your mind is with you, it says. We write down every word that comes out of your mouth, it says. Your mind is with you, after all; you have come of age.

Until one comes of age, there is no reward and no sin. Once you come of age, it says, now, with the decisions you make by your own judgment, you will prove what kind of person you are, it says. We have every word that comes out of your mouth written by the angels called Kiraman Katibin, it says. Yes, and at night? At night you are not yourself, there is no need to write, it says. Until you wake up. How beautiful. Until you wake up you are not yourself, it says. With the movements you make, turning left and right, hitting your hand left and right, that is waived for you. You are asleep. Because, more or less, your soul has been taken by the one on duty.

The machine runs, but in idle. Yes, why does it run? What does it say? We send back the soul of whom We will, it says.

We send back the soul of whom We will. If We have decreed his death, it says, We take that soul while he is asleep, it says. Yes. Even if it is someone whose death We have decreed while he is awake, I mean, (?), or while he is asleep, We take him. Yes.

Finally, your return is to Him, it says. Then, so that the appointed term may be completed, He wakes you by day; so that the appointed term may be completed. I mean, so that you prove what kind of person you are through the actual deeds you will do, We wake you. You work for your living, to fulfil the responsibilities We have given with the hardship of the world. Who abides by this? Who does not? Who remembers his Lord while taking from the world? Who loads the world onto his back without asking whether it is halal or haram? With these actual deeds we do, we make ourselves witnesses to those around us and to Allah.

Yes, finally your return is to Him; when (?) comes, we are finally returned to the barzakh, to the barzakh; we came from the barzakh, we are returned to the barzakh; I mean, our Lord created us in the (?) realm, made a covenant with us, and then raised us to the barzakh, and the soul whose time came, whoever's time came, He sent into the world, into the world. He proved what kind of person he is, and returned again to the barzakh. Why did he return to the barzakh? He will wait there again, wait in his grave. For what? To be raised at the gathering after the Hour has come. Yes, then he will be raised at the gathering; what will be raised?

The bodies. There is no death upon souls; it is waiting there anyway. It waits for the bodies rising from the earth, for its driver. Why does it wait for it? What need is there? Ha, what need is there? It will bear witness for you. When you come before Me with a driver, it says. Why? We will silence your mouth, it says. We will bind your feet. We will make your hand speak, it says. And the soul will say to it: why are you bearing witness against me? And it will say: the One who makes me speak, Allah, makes me speak, it says. In this case it will lay out all the actual deeds you did there. Then, after the testimony is over, the body will say to its soul, I mean, that ridden horse will say to its rider: you are being returned to the One who first created, it says.

And there it tastes death a second time, dies a second time; it does not taste it, it dies. The one who tasted death was the soul. Since the soul is not in the body, the body dies a second time there and becomes earth. After that the soul, nafs and life, which are one, are sent to the place they deserve. So no one desires hell, nor does anyone want to deserve it.

What everyone desires is Paradise. I mean, a beautiful life, being able to do whatever one wishes, and attaining Allah's mercy. So people who long for the second place one can deserve instead of the first must be governed in the world by Allah's commands; that is necessary, not on the path their nafs shows, not on the path of the two-legged taghuts, not by the temptation of Satan circulating in their own bloodstream. Allah Almighty, who created the mind as a knower of the truth, expects people to use their minds, turn to their Lord and obey Him. In this case, whoever obeys Allah, carries out Allah's commands, does not bow to any god, god other than Allah, and is governed by what Allah says, there is no fear for them, says Allah Almighty.

Yes.

We continue. Allah Almighty takes our souls from the realm of barzakh where they wait and sends them to the realm of the world.

When they complete their lifetimes in the world, they return to the same place.

These bodies need to eat, to drink and to rest. What did we say? Our horse. You got on the horse, you're riding around; doesn't this horse get hungry? Or you got in the car, you're driving along; doesn't it want petrol?

The horse is like that, and the body is like that. It needs food and drink, but it is such a horse that it is not like riding a horse. Nor is it like getting in a car. Three quarters of the body is water. Three quarters of the body is water. Water takes the colour and shape of the vessel it is in. In this case, the person reflects the appearance of his soul throughout the whole body. The person, who looks like a single thing living intertwined, is actually not one; with his soul living within him and his outward body, the person is as if he saw his image in front of a mirror. Doesn't he see himself in the mirror?

When he looks into the mirror, there are two people facing each other. See how, when he merges with the mirror, it vanishes in him. That is how a person is with his soul and body. Yes. I mean, he is not alone. That is why, it says, even if you go to the depths of the earth, or leave the world and go to the farthest corners of the universe, surely beside you, you to you there will be a witness, it says. I mean, if you prove it, that is our body. We cannot escape it. Yes.

These bodies need to eat, to drink and to rest. Because bodies get tired from working all day, Allah Almighty created sleep. In the state of sleep, through the beings He has charged, He has the soul taken while it stays connected to the body. Yes.

It is taken.

One day I was very curious. We say the soul is taken by the one on duty; how does one fall asleep like this, I said; I'll wait, I said. I'll wait.

For a few nights, however long I waited, I fell asleep. I fell asleep. But it did not last very long. On the fourth night or the fifth night, I'm waiting again like this. Sleep is heavy, too. It's midnight. I'm sitting where I sit. From behind me came a dark shape like this. A dark shape. I caught it. But it's spiritual. This is spiritual. It's not that time. It neither shows itself nor surrenders. How it begs. Let me go, it says. Who are you? (?) I'm on duty, it says. Please, (?) let me go. That is forbidden to tell. By the one on duty. It begged so much. (?) I let it go. But my sleep was gone too.

After that, would any sleep remain? Yes. And my Lord always raised me like this, under the light of verses.

That is sleep being a half-dead state. In this case, since a person in sleep is lying there with his body, he is not responsible to Allah Almighty. Since it is the soul that is responsible to Allah Almighty, it has to return to life again to complete the covenant it gave. So the person who wakes from sleep, coming to himself again in the (?) of the body, begins to live the covenant he gave to Allah Almighty with his desires and wishes. In this way he goes on living his life until his covenant is completed.

He knows what you do by day, says Allah Almighty. In every being He created, in all matter and molecules, the signals emitted by the atoms, by the positively and negatively charged electrons in their nuclei, act as transmitter stations. Allah Almighty, who has programmed the signals all beings emit to Himself, wherever in the universe they may be, is aware of the movements and wishes of the particles.

Then, so that the appointed term may be completed, He wakes you by day.

The meaning of the term here is a lifetime to be lived within the covenant one gave. He wakes people so that this lifetime may be completed. I mean, the souls that were taken are given back to those whose lifetime has not ended. In this case the senses and feelings of the person waking from sleep, and their desires and wishes, begin. So that he can live his life according to these desires and wishes, Allah Almighty creates events. And the person attains the outcome in his destiny through the deeds he himself has done. The good or bad things he did among these deeds then become the person's rewards and sins.

Thus the person, to himself, to those around him and to Allah, makes himself a witness. Thus he has filled his term by living it.

Yes. Hodja, a question came to my mind here. May I ask? Go ahead. Now, Hodja, body, nafs, life, soul leave the body. When death comes to the body separately. Now, when bodies are raised, what produces the body's coming alive? With the body's raising, what (?) raises the body from there? Soul, nafs, life separate from it. Now, what does this resemble? Look.

This (?) I have a light in my hand. Pay attention. The light came on. Take it that I am alive. Your mind is with you. Your mind is with you.

My soul was taken. But the light is inside this. The current is here. This did not surrender itself. There is one more force here. Even though the soul has gone, we say soul, nafs and life are one. There is life in the body. Of course there is life in the body. The body and the soul are in a state of frequency anyway. Just as when I phone you, you are found by your frequency, it too, with that, what does it do at once? Hop, they meet like this. Do you understand? They meet this way. Then when sleep comes, but look, this (?) current is here. Yes.

That is why with knowledge Allah Almighty has set up everything.

Finally, your return is to Him. Then He will inform you of what you did in the world, it says. So the person who has filled his term, at the end of his life, has his soul taken and is brought to his place in the realm of barzakh. Here it waits for the Hour to come. It waits for the Hour to come. After the Hour, at the gathering, the gathering begins. All created beings are created back again. And they are gathered at the gathering. The decayed bodies are raised again. In the human body there is a seed that does not burn, does not decay and does not get lost. A seed. This seed: with what is called the sea of secret on the sixth level, Allah Almighty will water the world with the water of that sea.

Just like rain. In fact the Quran gives this example in many places. Just as We revive the dead land with this water We send down from the sky, We will revive you the same way, it says. This occurs in many places. Yes. This is called the sea of secret. The meaning of the sea of secret: the creation of man is a secret. And that seed is the essence of man. Only with that water will that seed be created as a body; We will create you exactly, down to your fingertips, it says. If our fingertips do not match each other's prints, if fingerprints do not match each other, if the fingerprints of people coming until the Last Day do not match each other, when He says We will create you exactly, down to your fingertips, He has engraved all our secrets into that seed, engraved knowledge.

Just as with the seeds of vegetables and fruits in nature, He engraves them, and those very seeds give fruit and vegetables of their own kind; like seeds. Yes, this is Allah's power.

After the Hour, the gathering begins; all created beings are created back again, and they are gathered at the gathering. The decayed bodies are raised again; in the human body there is a seed that does not burn, does not decay and does not get lost. In a verse Allah Almighty says: We revealed to the earth what it will consume in the human body and what it will not consume. So since the earth, in time, decays and finishes everything, even if it is iron or ore, that seed in the human body which it will not consume will remain intact.

About the Resurrection, the verse says: when the heaven is another heaven and the earth another earth, when the mountains are like ground flour and the world is spread out completely flat, it says. When it is spread out completely flat. There is no Sirat bridge, look, I mean, no one crosses a bridge. That is where He will raise us.

There is no (?) either, it says. I mean, no one will be able to escape it. We gather all of you at the gathering, it says. What beautiful verses. If you know them, it is very beautiful; (?) the verses all confirm one another. Yes.

So, according to the verse where He says: We revealed to the earth what it will consume in the human body and what it will not consume, through this seed, I mean this kernel, at the Resurrection the body will be perfected in the same form. I mean, the body will be perfected. The souls, upon which there is no death and which wait in the realm of barzakh, will meet the body instantly at the gathering, like transmitter and receiver devices. That is why it says: when you come before Me with a driver; they will meet.

When you come before Him with a driver, according to the verses where He says: when the souls are paired, souls and bodies will find each other. After that the Supreme Court begins. On that day He calls the Day of Reckoning, every soul is brought to account. Allah informs them of what they did in the world. When the time comes, the verses given as sources will be explained in detail, we say. When the time comes. These are further ahead. Yes.
