Say; “Allah is capable of sending punishment from above you or from under your feet and also capable of having you engage each other and let some of you feel the pain of some others.” See how We explain Our verses so everybody will understand.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) is able to inflict punishment from above us, from the heavens. Disasters such as storms, storms, lightning, floods are disasters from the heavens. On the other hand, He can also bring disasters from beneath our feet. Such as earthquakes, landslides, earthquakes. Allah is able to do everything like these.

Allah (swt) is also able to mix people together and make some of them taste the pain of others; in the first sense, this verse means that the tribes kill each other because of their enmity and enmity, and the relatives of the dead suffer. The second meaning is that this meaning is actually meant. Since Allah created the universe with His knowledge, there is nothing that Allah cannot do. With the senses, emotions and nervous systems that He has given to human beings, if a human being is touched by a torment, or is hit physically, or is cut or slashed, Allah can, if He wishes, spare that person the pain and make him or her feel it for whomever He wants. In a hadith, the Prophet (s.a.w.) says, "If a believer cannot relate to the plight of another believer, his faith has not been perfected. If a believer with perfect faith feels and suffers the pain and anguish of another believer, Allah (swt) would not make that person suffer the pain and anguish of a person who has suffered a calamity or an accidental amputation or amputation, but would make others suffer the pain and anguish of another person.

The fact that everyone is responsible for what he or she does, that Allah has created human beings with great justice and does not hold anyone responsible for anyone else, that He makes everyone suffer the calamities that befall him or her, and that He is omnipotent with His knowledge.

And in the continuation of the verse (Look how We explain Our Verses to them so that they may understand), how Allah (swt) brings all sorts of metaphors in a way that every mind can understand, so that people may realize the greatness, greatness and majesty of Allah (swt) and fear Allah (swt) properly and worship Him (swt). How he explains the attribute of justice in a way that people can understand.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-An'am, verse 65. Say: Allah is able to send upon you a punishment from above you or from beneath your feet, or to mix you up with one another and make some of you taste the pain of the others. Look how beautifully We explain Our verses so that they may understand, it says. What does this mean? Hey, human! Pull yourself together. Reflect, it says. At sea, among those waves. You were left alone and helpless. You believed that only your Lord would come to your rescue. There is no one there. Because all around is cut off, in the middle of the seas darkness, wave upon wave. You had lost hope, you took refuge in Allah.

Or else you faced a hopeless matter. You are begging Allah.

Well, Allah saved you from that situation, and did you think you were safe, it says. Is He not able to send you a calamity from the sky? Is He not able to send an earthquake from beneath your feet? Is He not able to destroy you with a volcano? Is He not able to drown you in disasters with water, a flood, a tsunami? Like the people of 'Ad, the people of Hud, the people of Lot — to send marked stones upon them, is He not able? So what did you trust in, that because you were saved from those waves, those darknesses, you again went back to your old ways?

How beautiful the verses are, look what it says anyway: from the sky and the earth, from beneath your feet, a punishment to send, or to mix you up with one another and make some taste the pain of the others, He is able; He makes us strike one another, (?), look how We explain Our verses so that they may understand; that is, not only in that danger — even when you are out in the open, We will settle your account, it says. Yes.

Allah Almighty is able to send punishment from above us, that is, from the heavens. Storms, gales, thunderbolts, floods and the like are disasters that come from the heavens. Likewise, He can also send disasters from beneath our feet. Like earthquakes, landslides, the earth splitting open. Allah is able to do everything like these.

So I say: a dead person's (?)

trust in nothing. Satan deceives you. He makes you (?) a long life ahead of you. He ties you to hopes. (?)

Be with Allah as if you would die at any moment. Worship Him. And try to build up your world too, as if you would never die. Carry the worldly and the otherworldly together. One leaves one of them. (?) you do wrong to your nafs. You do wrong to yourself as well.

Allah Almighty, mixing people up with one another, to make some taste the pain of the others — this too He is able to do. In this verse, in the first meaning, it is the tribes, out of hostility and enmity between them, killing one another and the relatives of the dead suffering pain. A second meaning — actually it is this meaning that is intended. Since Allah created the universe with His knowledge, there is nothing Allah cannot do. With the feelings, emotions and nervous systems He has given people, if a torment touches a person, if he receives a blow to the body or is cut and operated on, if He wills, Allah can spare this person from tasting this pain and make whomever He wills taste its pains.

Whomever He wills. That is, his close relatives. In a hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: if a believer cannot share a believer's state, his faith has not reached perfection. Yes.

A believer whose faith has reached perfection feels and bears the anguish and pain another believer suffers; so Allah Almighty too, of a person struck by calamity, or one who had a part of the body cut in an accident, could spare that person the pain he suffers and make others taste it.

Just as with what happens to me, they put me to sleep with those nervous systems, with (?), and I don't feel the pain, since my Lord has power over all things, He may not let him taste it either, and his relatives — when a calamity comes to him (?), they themselves bear his pain. For example, let's say a disaster befell me, Allah forbid, one of my arms, one of my legs is gone. I have no idea it was even cut off. Because they found the right time, they put me to sleep. They cut and operated on me.

How his relatives feel for that person. It becomes an inner pain for them.

Do you grieve that he has become a burden to himself? Do you grieve that he can't take care of himself? You just grieve and grieve. Yes, in this way we (?) the pains of our relatives too.

So, each person being responsible for himself with what he does, Allah's creating people with great justice and holding no one responsible for anyone else, making each one bear the disasters that befall him and taste the pain himself, and His having power over all things with His knowledge are declared.

In the continuation of the verse: look how We explain Our verses so that they may understand, it says. So that people, grasping Allah Almighty's identity, greatness and majesty, fear Allah as He should be feared and render obedience and worship to Him — in a way every mind can understand, how every kind of encouragement is brought, how He explains His attribute of justice in a way people can understand. Yes.
