Some nations have denied the truth. Say to them; “I am not a custodian upon you.”
Tafsir
(Some tribes denied the truth.) They denied the truth of the Holy Qur'an, the truth of the revelation of Allah and the truth of the Prophets sent. They said that no torment would come to us from Allah. They said that there is no resurrection for us after death. (Awalam yeral manu anna halegnahu min nutfetin faiza hewa hasimun mubin) We created man from a mere water (nutfeen) and today they have become clear combatants. (vedereba lena meselen venesiye halgeh gale men yuhyil izam vehiye ramim) He brought us an example forgetting his creation. They said, "Who will bring these bones back to life, when they have decayed and disintegrated?" (Gul yuhyihellezi anasha aha aawwala merrah wa huve bi kulli halkın alim) Say: "He who created them for the first time will bring them back to life, and He knows every created thing in its entirety.
Say to those who disbelieve in Allah and deny the Last Day, I am not a deputy sent to you. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a human being and a messenger of Allah, a Prophet sent to the worlds as a human being and a messenger of Allah, a Prophet who was commissioned to convey to people the revelation and unity of Allah, and who was sent to the worlds as a Khatemen Nebi, the terminator of the Prophethood. The vicegerent of all the worlds is Allah, the All-Knowing.

Surah Al-An'am, verse 66. Some peoples denied the truth. Say to them: I am not a guardian sent over you. Yes. What does Allah Almighty tell the Prophet? I am not a guardian sent over you. That is, I will not be held responsible for your denying the truth. My duty is to explain the truth, to make Allah's verses heard to you. Beyond that, since everyone's wishes and (?) are their own destiny, since no one can change anyone else's destiny, no one is a watcher over anyone. And no one bears anyone else's sin. Yes.
Some peoples denied the truth. What did they say? These are the tales of the ancients. We found our forefathers on this path, they say. We are to abandon the idols we have worshipped, abandon them?
In the previous lesson too we said that this is nothing but the tales of the ancients. They had heard the tales of the ancients. They had also heard that those who proclaimed the truth were saved from this destruction and that those who denied the truth were destroyed. In this situation, how well — they make those around them and Allah Almighty witnesses against themselves. What do they say? This is nothing but the tales of the ancients. They had heard the tales of the ancients. And what are these tales of the ancients? There is no god but Allah. The absolute owner and ruler of this whole universe is that one Allah.
No one but Allah is worshipped, is served. All created beings are Allah's servants, Allah's creations. Yes, when they call these the tales of the ancients, they know these things. Because the Prophet says the same thing. They say "tales of the ancients", yet they also know that those who said such things were destroyed. In this situation, because it does not please their own nafs, they cannot abandon their own way. So was Hell created in vain? Hell is for the transgressors.
Some peoples denied the truth — the truth of the Quran, the oneness of Allah and the truth of the prophets sent — they denied it. They said no punishment will come to us from Allah; they said our being resurrected after death is out of the question. In the Quran, Allah Almighty: From a despised drop of water We created, it says. We created from a despised drop of water. Today they have suddenly become open rebels, it says. Rebels. Yes. Today they have suddenly become open disputants.
Forgetting his own creation, he even brought Us an example. Who will revive these bones, when they have rotted and crumbled, they said.
Say, it says: the One who created them the first time will revive them. And He revives every created thing completely, rightfully. you know that you were created, you can't say I don't know, you can't deny it either, because what you do proves that you yourself are witness to having been created; its proof is knowing you were created and worshipping idols, isn't it so? They worship idols, so they know they were created. Well, this created human was brought into being from nothing, and after that is resurrection after death going to seem hard for Allah? Allah Almighty, in a verse, says: the heavens and the earth and what is between them — We created them and no weariness befell Us. Yes.
So those who deny Allah, the Day of the Hereafter denying — yes, to those who deny the Hereafter's day, say: I am not a guardian sent over you. Nor am I a watcher. Because a person's watching extends only as far as he can see. His guardianship too extends only as far as he can see. Beyond that, even if he is a guardian over people, (?) beyond that, who knows what they do. Therefore the duty of the prophets and of the scholars, the heirs, is to explain the truth. Seeing and watching over belongs to Allah. He knows very well the state of what He created. I am not a guardian sent over you. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), too, as a human being and Allah's messenger, charged with conveying to people Allah's oneness and unity, is the Seal of the Prophets, sent to the worlds as the one who ends prophethood — a prophet.
Yes.
And the guardian and owner of all the worlds is Allah Almighty. He is the owner of the worlds. Who knows the state of His creatures, gives them their sustenance, watches over them, watches over.
