This is Allah’s path of guidance; Allah blesses with it those servants who desire. If they had associated partners to Allah, all of their deeds would surely have gone in vain.
Tafsir
(That is the way of Allah's guidance, which He bestows upon whomsoever He wills of His servants). Whoever knows Allah as the Creator and One, and does not associate partners with Him, and fears his Lord properly, and does not turn his face away from Allah and does not turn his face away from anyone other than Allah, this is the way of Allah. It is the way to Allah. The path of salvation and victory. It is the path of bliss and peace in eternal life. He bestows it on those of His servants who wish it.
Allah, who leaves everyone free with his/her free will, has (in Kalu Bela) given everyone his/her will as his/her destiny. So, whoever knew Allah as Allah, the Creator, the Lord, in the past, these are the people who seek guidance from Allah. And whoever has denied Allah who created him, these are the people who seek wrongdoing from Allah.
If any of the Prophets whose names he mentioned (had they ascribed partners to Allah, all their deeds would have been in vain), they did not turn their faces away from Allah in the realm of property as a result of a good covenant that these people made with Allah. Because they treated Allah's creatures with compassion and invited them to Allah and salvation, Allah bestowed upon them ranks and degrees and made them superior to other people. And if they had turned their backs on Allah and ascribed partners to Allah, then surely their deeds would have come to naught and torment would have touched them, for Allah is the Just.
What is said in the video
That is Allah's path of guidance. Which path? The path Allah commanded us with His word. That is, He sent a sharia to every community. Again, since every community is gathered in the whole Quran, that path now is the path of Islam. If you gather under the banner of Islam, if you continue on the path of Islam, if as sirat-ı müstakim, on that straight path of Allah you advance, surely Allah never goes back on His promise. According to the verse Who is truer to his word than Allah, when you, under that banner of Islam, within the sharia of Islam, upon the religion of Islam, on that sirat-ı müstakim, the straight path, reach your Lord, He, (?), receives you.
Yes.
That is Allah's path of guidance, which He grants to whomever of His servants wishes. To whoever wishes. (?), to whoever wishes. Now, if Allah Almighty had granted it by His own wishing, the verses would all contradict each other. That is, they would belie each other. Such as? Allah Almighty does not discriminate among His servants. A verse: We do not discriminate among Our servants.
If He even tells people to spread right and justice on earth, if He says that in the supreme court too, on that day, everyone will be given in full what they earned, as the return of their own two hands, if He says that, is it possible for Allah? Had He wished, He would have guided the unbelievers too. By His wishing. Because He does not discriminate among His servants. So let us wish. That is, Allah Almighty will send His verses. O people!
You, created from a single soul, as a single community, are servants created by your Lord. That there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, that the Holy Quran is the eternal word sent by Allah, he knows. If you obey His command, I too, He says, will give you My Paradise, He says. How beautifully He says it. I will give My Paradise.
If you stray from these, the burden is on you, He says. You wrong your own soul. Allah does not wrong souls, He says. You wrong your own souls. Yes. As He says: what you earn is the return of your two hands. As He says: your Lord does not wrong anyone. Yes.
So whoever knows Allah as Creator and as One and does not associate partners with Him, thinking that one day, before Allah, the Owner of that day of reckoning, he will be called to account, continuing in obedience and worship of his Lord, fears his Lord as he should, and from anyone other than Allah does not turn his face, that path is Allah's path. Yes. He will fear no one but Allah. He will not turn his face from Allah. This covers many things. Yes. Such as? The lawful, the forbidden; if a person turns his face from Allah, he goes outside the rulings of the sharia. Right? If he turns his face from Allah.
But if he doesn't, he has taken all of it in; people bound by Allah's sharia rulings, who did what He said to do and did not do what He said not to do. These are the ones who attain victory, who catch guidance, who attain Allah's (?), the people who win Paradise, it is they. Of Paradise.
Continuing in obedience and worship of his Lord, if he fears his Lord as he should and does not turn his face to anyone other than Allah, that path is Allah's path. It is the path that leads to Allah. It is the path of salvation and victory. It is the path of the bliss and peace of eternal life. That is what He grants to whomever of His servants wishes. Is there no one, says Allah Almighty, is there no one who asks of Me? If it were up to Allah's wishing, since Allah does not discriminate among His servants, He would give it to all of them. Because His mercy is abundant. Then He would also abolish Hell.
In this case, is there no one, He says, who asks of Me?
I will answer the request of whoever asks, says Allah Almighty. Yes. Well, Hodja, then he asks and it doesn't happen. I said it a moment ago. It doesn't happen because you can't get past the school of your nafs. Yes, a moment ago we again said something: every thing has a price, we said; out of nowhere you won't find those places; with that sedition and debauchery, with that backbiting, with showing off, with that lying, with fraud, with those bad traits of your nafs, Allah Almighty will not give you those places, will not grant them, because He wants to see you as a fine person: O human, with that spirit I gave you, the evils in your nafs, by your own will, you are in a position to defeat; just struggle with it, just once (?), like a hero, (?) with them, let Me see you, He says; your strength, your might, your power, show Me, He says, just show; them (?) one by one, (?).
Look, then, He says, see how I will give you what I promised, He says. Yes.
So everything has a price. It doesn't come without a price.
Allah, who leaves everyone free with their partial will, at Kalu Bela gave everyone their own wish as their destiny. Destiny. (?), whoever knew Allah as Allah, as his Creator and Lord, these are the people who ask Allah for guidance. It was already wished there. What did we say before? We had the scripts written there.
As characters we had them worked into ourselves. As actors we play in the world. Yes. We took on flesh and bone. Just as we appear as Yunus, everyone individually, Ahmet, Mehmet, Hasan, Hüseyin, Ayşe, Fatma, with each other, and appeared outwardly. Within this outward appearance, in proportion to the covenants they gave Allah Almighty, as long as those characters are in them, when the time comes, desire and wish begin. Allah Almighty creates events according to people's desires and wishes. And people, through the actual deeds they do within these events, earn reward and sin. So as not to incur sin, you will struggle with your nafs.
You will not go outside Allah's command. Yes.
So whoever knew Allah as Allah, as his Creator and Lord, these are the people who ask Allah for guidance. And whoever denied Allah who created him, these are people who wish for oppression from Allah.
Does a person wish for oppression from Allah? And, as Allah Almighty says, if you turn your back on the One who created you, if outside what He said you go, did He wrong you, or did you wrong yourself? A state has a law. One goes outside this law. If you commit a crime, did that state make you guilty, or did you declare yourself guilty?
Yes. If the prophets whose names He listed had also set up partners with Allah, all the deeds they did would surely have come to nothing. So, as the result of the good covenant these people gave to Allah, in the realm of this world too they did not turn their faces to anyone other than Allah. As the result of a good covenant, they never turned their faces from Allah Almighty. Because they approached Allah's creatures with mercy and invited them to Allah and to salvation, Allah granted them stations and ranks and made them superior over other people. Yes.
If they too had turned their backs on Allah, had to Allah ascribed partners, surely, since Allah is the Owner of justice, their deeds too would come to nothing, He would bring them to nothing, and punishment would surely have touched them, He decrees. Yes.
