Translation

They (The Jews) have not acknowledged Allah properly because they said; “Allah has not sent down anything to any person”. Say; “If so, who has sent down the Book that came to Moses as a light and guidance for people?” You write them (the parts you want) down on scrolls and most of it, you hide. Things have been taught to you (in the Qur’an) that you and your ancestors do not know about.” (Oh My Messenger) Say; “Allah!” and leave them to themselves, as they sink in the swamp they dived into!

Tafsir

This verse explains how the Jews, because of their stubbornness, denied what Allah had sent. (They did not know Allah as they should) means that although they knew Allah as Allah, they underestimated Allah (swt). (They said, "Allah has not revealed anything to any human being.") In this case, they did not recognize the Prophethood of Prophet Moses and denied the Book of Torah in their possession.

Allah (swt) breaks their stubbornness and reminds them to return to the truth. In order to introduce the truth with questions, He says to His Prophet, in fact to mankind, "Who then sent down the Book which Moses brought to mankind as a light and guidance? You write it on paper and reveal what you want and conceal much of it). This is a people who, although they knew Allah and understood that He existed, they did not fear Him properly and were accustomed to taking Allah lightly. They made changes in the Books sent by Allah, writing what suited them, changing what did not suit them, and hiding and not revealing what did not suit them.

Now (you have been taught what neither you nor your ancestors knew.) As it is understood from this verse, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was sent as a Prophet to all the worlds. We also sent to you with the Holy Qur'an what your ancestors did not know and what you did not know, with Our Verses that will shed light before you for as long as the world endures. But this people, who could not submit to Allah because of pride and arrogance, denied what was sent. O Habibim! (Say "Allah", then let them play in the swamps they dive into.) If only one could realize how heavy and bitter this verse is. Can you imagine that Allah, the One who created you and provided you with all kinds of sustenance, should abandon us, leave us, to be subjected to a permanent torment in the eternal life after our death, to say, "Let them go", to exchange the life of the hereafter for the life of this world for the little benefit of the life of this world. Those who sell the life of the Hereafter for the life of this world without Allah. These are the wrongdoers who are enemies to their own souls.

Malik b. Sayf, one of the Jewish scholars, came to the Prophet (pbuh) and began to talk back and forth about the Holy Qur'an. The Prophet (PBUH) said, "By Allah, Who revealed the Torah to Moses, have you not seen anything in your Book that says, 'Allah hates scholars who are fat'? Malik, who was a fat man, was annoyed by this and said that Allah has not sent down any Book to any human being and he denied all the Books. It is said that the verse we are narrating was revealed thereupon. Even though this is the speech of this person, the verse is valid until the Day of Resurrection, as the verse applies to the general public, and there are those who say that today, so the verse is valid until the Day of Resurrection.

What is said in the video

To verse 91 we have come. The Jews did not know Allah as is His due. Of course they don't. In return for Allah being so gracious to them, in return for seeing so many of their forefathers' miracles,

in return for Allah Almighty saving them from so many bad situations, calamities — in return for that, these could not know Allah as is His due, as required. Now, these also commit betrayal against their forefathers.

Some betray their forefather, some walk in their forefather's footsteps. That is, to the Torah He sent to Moses, those people, the believers at that time — the believers were in the footsteps of their forefathers. That is, they were the believing part. And the others, the rebels, going in their forefathers' footsteps, against those who accepted that Torah are in betrayal. Betrayals against their forefather. Because their forefather was on the truth. Some of them were on the truth. If you leave the way of one who is on the truth, won't you have betrayed him? Of course. In betrayal. They betray the prophets who come to them too.

They kill them too. They don't listen to them either. They rebel against so many blessings of Allah. These are a people who use their reason. (?) were they able to know Allah? In the face of so many kindnesses. Because they said: Allah has not sent down anything to any human. Look at this denial and at this slander against Allah.

You knew Allah.

You said He sent down nothing to any human.

Then why, with your rabbis, by inserting human (?) into that Torah, did you change Allah's verses?

Isn't that so? Yes. For money.

One of the kings — I can't quite recall his name right now, maybe it's Andokyan? Something like that, I suppose. Such a king. His name is mentioned.

His sister will give her daughter. That is, he will marry his niece. His niece. He asks John for a fatwa.

And John does not give the fatwa; he goes to prison. But they say, it was in the language of Moses, they say.

I am not of the language of Moses, I am of the language of Jesus, he says. Jesus has come too. They tell John: someone has come who speaks like you. Praise be to Allah, my namesake has come, he says, my namesake. In this case Zechariah (peace be upon him) understands they will kill his son John. When he comes to save him from (?), the Jews follow John. They follow Zechariah. When Zechariah (peace be upon him) realizes he is being followed, inside a tree trunk he hides. These cruel people split that trunk in two and so Zechariah (peace be upon him) they kill.

And because John did not give the fatwa, his head they cut off too. They kill (?) too. Well, if Allah sent down nothing to any human, where did you make this up from?

The Torah came.

You changed it. You said Moses was saying this. Allah gave you so many blessings.

Knowingly — so plainly and openly, though to every person in his right mind the verses strike like a hammer — these people's shameless slanders against Allah and their denial of the verses: look at it. Because they said: Allah has not sent down anything to any human. Then the book that Moses brought as a light and guidance for people — who sent it down? Yes. Who sent it down? Tell me that.

You also gave an example a moment ago.

So what is wisdom then, wisdom? Knowing the particular quality in the verse. I don't come here prepared on this verse. But from that wisdom, those subtleties — those who come after always stick to what they know.

then the book that Moses brought as a light and guidance for people — who sent it down? You write it on sheets, disclosing what you want, (?) and you hide that too; things neither you nor your forefathers knew have been taught to you in the Quran. My Messenger, say Allah, then leave them to play on in the swamps they have plunged into. Yes. now there comes to my mind the situation we all live through. We all live it.

Here we all tell about Allah. We see it. We have gathered. We explain the verses.

Those who serve dark commands and those who attack with (?) stand up against the verses. To keep the site busy, these choice verses trying to do away with — those people of the time — to (?) their own falsehoods onto these verses, start keeping the site busy. The site. Because since the history of the Republic — it was there even before that — those striving to abolish Islam, those striving to abolish Islam, since the history of the Republic, both by changing the Quran's verses and inserting falsehoods into them — I repeat my word. into the translations of the Quran's verses, into the translations, falsehoods by inserting, by changing the meanings of the verses — their efforts of eighty-odd years — that Allah Almighty, through the struggle against falsehood of a person He raised, according to the verse 'Truth has come and falsehood has perished', will do away with them — those who understand this start to (?).

The attack on the site begins. But however much they attack, let them. They will attack, they will do their duty. And we, in response to their attacks, those falsehoods — how would we know? We don't know falsehood. We will answer those attacks with Allah's verses. Yes. We are living this on our site. Yes.

That's why let me also tell you this much.

They are following us, our talks. They see there is interest, so on television they start bringing out hodjas and making them talk. But however much they make them talk, they supposedly start from the verses. He has no knowledge to explain a verse. He starts telling superstitions. Or telling narrations. Narrations. No meanings of the verses. Yes. Because there is no root. If there were a root, they would explain it.

God willing, our Lord will make what we say heard. He is already making it heard. On Facebook thousands of people, thousands read. Yes. Thousands of them read. They watch our videos, they listen.

This

verse describes how the Jews, out of their stubbornness, denied what Allah sent.

Those who, out of stubbornness, drowned the light of faith in the darkness of shirk.

Those who deified themselves, their own selves — their saying they did not know Allah as is His due — here 'as is His due' means that, although they knew Allah as Allah, they took Allah Almighty lightly. Lightly. Like what?

How do they take Him lightly? We are the sons of Allah, they say. Do they have proof in their hands from Allah Almighty? Look, look, look. As if, being the sons of Allah, (?) will pass to them. Anyway, at the wailing walls they speak (?).

Yes. At the same time they tell us: in hell, more than two or three days, (?), they say. He accepts that too, but in the world he insists on (?) his self. Just as Satan insisted. Accursed. Yes. Although they knew Allah as Allah, they took Allah Almighty lightly. Out of their stubbornness, knowingly, their denial of the obvious that Allah sent — that is the meaning. These said: Allah has not sent down anything to any human. In this case, by not recognizing Moses's prophethood either, they set out to deny the Torah book in their hands. Is that so? Since they say He sent nothing down, they deny the Torah too.

They deny Moses too.

And our Lord says: who gave that book in their hands to Moses? Yes. Who gave it?

If you deny it, why do you hold the book in your hand?

A person's, the person I know, because he was created very honourable, the word coming out of his mouth is very important.

If, with one word, a person's second word — we are human, of course. It may happen, perhaps it (?). We may have spoken (?). But this is a word that is within (?). If knowingly a verse or a topic you deliberately say wrongly, when people know the right of it, won't you be ashamed before these people? Isn't that so? Suppose I told a lie here now. A lie. And one of the people here knew the truth of it, could I look this person in the face? Is that possible? Is that possible? As I always say, I say it again. Look, I am interpreting so many verses. Can you find a single word that contradicts another?

I talk this much. Because I speak in the light of the verses. I speak within the wisdom my Lord has given me.

Well, if a person, with inconsistent words, and especially slandering Allah, slandering His Messenger — how does this person, with these words he says, look people in the face, and with what conscience does this person go into the presence of Allah Almighty? Yes.

Allah has not sent down anything to man. He denies even the book in his hand.

Now as I told you before too, I will remind you of a word I said.

I said they do not believe in the books in their hands either. Do you remember? By denying the Quran, they deny the books in their hands too, they don't believe in them either, I said. Why did I say so? Their originals are in the Holy Quran. The Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel are in the Holy Quran. Whoever denies the Quran — since the original of the book in his hand is in the Quran — denies that book in his hand too. And here is the verse. Is that so? They deny even the books in their hands. Because it does not suit them.

Yes.

We say everything by weighing it against the verses.

It is worth repeating once more what was said. Those who stand against my words without showing a verse sink into a swamp deeper than their height. That verse must be related to the topic. To the topic. Unrelated to the topic — the Sirat bridge, having nothing to do with it — like the water carrying off the foam — the person who ties this (?), sir, to the Sirat. In the past people would say a verse and bring in a connection unrelated to the topic, and by saying it, by saying that verse, as if strengthening himself before the verse, taking (?) with Allah's verse, in order to make them believe the superstition he told.

In fact it has nothing to do with the topic. This superstition has taken the same path. The Sirat Bridge — supposedly the counterpart of (?). (?) Yes, there is a verse. With the counterpart of a verse that sets truth apart from falsehood Allah Almighty gives an example. Yes. So the man who will stand against me must know the verses very well, from their essence, their root, and the verses he must confirm with verses. He must join verses with verses. out of their

stubbornness, knowingly, it means their denial of the obvious that Allah sent these said: Allah has not sent down anything to any human; in this case Moses's prophethood too they did not recognize, and the Torah book in their hands they set out to deny.

Allah Almighty to these, so that they break their stubbornness and return to the Truth, reminders gives. Reminders. To make the Truth known through questions, addressing His Prophet, in fact people, He said: say, then the book that Moses brought as a light and guidance for people — who sent it down? It's in my hands, isn't it. You write it on sheets and disclose what you want. And you hide most of it. Because it does not suit their reckoning.

Do you know which part does not suit their reckoning? Inhuman events. Inhuman.

Hodja, could you explain? What is this inhuman thing?

They went so far in counting lineage that a Jewish woman says exactly this. Witnesses, I would not shy away even from lying with my father to produce my offspring.

Yes. These are the events they hid. The events they concealed.

Now you think about what these are in nature, though human in form. Shall I tell you what they are in nature? With the verse of Allah Almighty. They are like four-footed beasts roaming the earth, He says. Four-footed. Yes.

Then who sent down the book that Moses brought as a light and guidance for people? You write it on sheets, disclosing what you want, and you were hiding most of it. Although this people knew Allah and understood that He exists, they somehow, from Allah (?), not fearing, took Allah lightly. Making changes in the books Allah sent, they write what suits them, change what does not suit them, and those that do not suit their reckoning they hide. They were not disclosing them.

Now things neither you nor your forefathers knew have been taught to you. What? In the Quran. The Quran came. The Quran came as a mercy to the worlds. Because Allah Almighty makes no distinction among His servants, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), to the worlds, to all people, He sent as a prophet. And the Quran too, to all the worlds, to people, as guide, leader, (?) He sent.

In this case some of our poor hodjas say the Quran came to Muslims. God forbid. They say he is the prophet of Muslims. God forbid. The prophet of the worlds. Of the worlds. Because the worlds were created from his light. If people live unaware of the verses, with (?) minds, with superstitious ideas, they address people in this way. The Quran supposedly came to Muslims. The Prophet is supposedly the prophet of Muslims. the prophet of the worlds, of the worlds, of the worlds but those who recognize him are of him, those who don't are not of him now

things neither you nor your forefathers knew have been taught to you, taught, that is in the Quran; from this verse too, following one another and sent upon the truth, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), to all the worlds was sent as a prophet. Moreover, with the Holy Quran We gave the Prophet, both what your forefathers did not know and what you did not know — as long as the world stands, to light your way We sent Our verses. That is, these sentences are the counterpart of this verse; they are always the counterpart of verses: did they think they would extinguish Allah's light with their mouths' (?)?

Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgment. So as long as the world stands, the Holy Quran, as a light (?), before people will stand.

He was sent to the worlds, to the prophets. Moreover, with the Holy Quran We gave the Prophet, both what your forefathers did not know and what you did not know — as long as the world stands, to light your way We sent Our verses. But this people, unable out of pride and arrogance to bow to Allah, denied what was sent too. What was sent too. What? It denied the Quran too. What else? The Beloved of the Almighty, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him) — it denied him too.

There is a saying: one who denies his origin, it says, the gypsies, it says. We don't slander gypsies in a single word, but there is such a proverb. One who denies his origin — more precisely — is bloodless. Bloodless — what does bloodless mean? Bloodless: one unaware of himself, wretched, you know, appearing on earth in human form, but in fact creatures that are animals in nature. We call them creatures.

Why do we say so?

Why? We say so of one who denies his origin.

If the souls of the prophets were created from the soul of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the souls of the peoples from the souls of those prophets, if all the worlds were created from his light and people from his soul, indirectly — you, in denying the Prophet, are nothing but a bloodless one who denies his origin. Yes. Everything is plain. The verses are plain.

Yes, now things neither you nor your forefathers knew have been taught to you. From this verse too: following one another and sent upon the truth, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), to all the worlds as a prophet was sent. Moreover, with the Holy Quran We gave the Prophet, both what your forefathers did not know and what you did not know — as long as the world stands, to light your way, We sent Our verses. But this people, unable out of pride and arrogance to bow to Allah, denied what was sent too. O My Beloved, say Allah, then leave them in the swamps they have plunged into to play on.

Yes, the world is a swamp anyway. But to one who denies Allah, it looks rosy; following Satan's footsteps, and with two-legged taghuts looking pleasing to people, people — those preferring this world to the hereafter — wretched creatures they become.

Let them play on in this swamp in this state. If a person could just grasp how heavy and bitter the verse is — can you imagine? The One who created you and provides your every sustenance — finally, with our death, in the eternal life, so that we are left to constant punishment — our Owner, Allah, abandoning us, saying 'leave them' — those who, for a (?) benefit of worldly life, exchange the life of the hereafter for the life of this world. Those who, devoid of Allah, sell the life of the hereafter for the life of this world — these are the wrongdoers who are enemies to their own selves.

No one is anyone's enemy as much as a person is his own enemy. If we address the Jews this way, in fact this address is life for them. Life. Allah's verses are life to a human; what we say is life for them. Just as a person prepares for his future, works for it in the world, works to secure living his future in comfort and pleasure — at the end of this world, for the realm of the hereafter. My words are life-giving words for them. If they use their reason, if they return to Allah. Yes.

One of the Jewish scholars, Malik bin Said, to the Prophet (peace be upon him) comes and starts talking out of turn about the Holy Quran. And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: for the sake of Allah, who sent down the Torah to Moses, tell me. How well he puts it. For the sake of Allah, who sent down the Torah to Moses, tell me. In your book, 'Allah hates scholars who are fat' — such a phrase, have you not seen it? he says. He was fat himself, you know? Have you not seen such a phrase? he said. Malik, a fat man, so annoyed, said: Allah has not sent down any book to any human. They too go into denial, he tells us.

And he denied all the books. Thereupon, they say, the verse we have been explaining was revealed.

Although this was the talk of this one person, since the verse applies to all, and since there are those who say so today too, the verse is valid until the Day of Judgment. Yes.
