Translation

They have associated the jinn as partners to Allah. To the contrary, Allah has created them. They have attributed sons and daughters to Allah. No! Allah is exalted and far from what they attribute to Allah.

Tafsir

Because of their enmity against Allah (swt), people worship the jinn and the father of the jinn, the devils. However, Allah created them too. Some people, again out of ignorance, have attributed sons and daughters to Allah (swt) and some creatures for which there is no evidence. The Christians said that Jesus was the son of Allah. The Jews said that Uzeyr was the son of Allah. Some polytheists also attributed femininity to angels and said that angels are the daughters of Allah. What a sin they have committed with these words.

(He is far away from and exalted above the attributes they assert.) Allah is free from them. Allah is the Self-subsistent and has not been created, begotten or born by any being. He is the One who exists with His Essence. He is eternal and everlasting. How beautifully the following verse describes Him to us. (Huwal wa'l wa'l-ahead, wa'l-ahiru, wa'l-zzahiru, wa'l-batin) He is the before, the after, the zahir, the west.

Some idolaters among the Arabs worshipped jinn and made them partners to Allah, and as we have explained in the verse, some tribes said that their Prophet was the son of Allah. The polytheists of Makkah said that the angels were the daughters of Allah, and this verse was revealed. Even though the verses were revealed according to the lives of the people of that time, the verses will remain until the Day of Resurrection. This is because until the Day of Resurrection, such people will come to the earth and will have the same beliefs and behaviors. Since people in our time live with the same belief and understanding, the validity of the Qur'anic verses will last until the Day of Judgment.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-An'am, verse one hundred, yes. They made the jinn partners to Allah, He says; the jinn they made partners to Allah. Yet Allah created them too. Without knowledge they ascribed sons and daughters to Him. Far from it! He is far above and exalted beyond the attributes they put forward. Yes, what people invent with their mouths, their slandering Allah without relying on any evidence or basis.

On the Day of Judgment they will see that none of what they said had any truth, and because of the lie they invented against Allah they will see that their self is (?). In this case, between people who, even even while denying the verses, or who saw their forefathers on that path, and on that path follow their forefathers' tracks, and those who today, although we tell the truth, stand up against the verses and say no such thing can be, what is the difference?

There is one single difference.

One single difference.

The other did not come to the religion of Islam. This one, within the religion of Islam, judging by superstitions, did not accept the truth. But he did not give up Islam either. He is a Muslim, but with the courage this ignorance gives him, those who bring superstitions into the religion of Islam and are the leaders of them too, how they will answer tomorrow, on the Day of Judgment, in the presence of Allah Almighty, we leave to their own conscience.

The one who says no such thing can be.

I mean, according to what does he say no such thing can be? According to what, he says? Allah will put into paradise whom He wills and into hell whom He wills.

Yes. In many verses they have given Allah Almighty attributes. It will all be as they say, because these (?). Had they thought about the truth and judged by the truth, people would not have come to this state. That is, had a person been able to grasp that the partial will is in man's hand, that man enters paradise or hell by the decisions he himself has made. I wonder, if we asked that person why she uncovers her head? By Allah she would be afraid. Because it is in her own will. She would be left alone with her own will, had she known this. But if Allah puts into paradise whom He wills and into hell whom He wills, she says, I am a Muslim.

What will happen, she says. Everyone has uncovered their head. What if I uncover mine too? Normal; according to her thinking, a situation like this is normal. But had the person known that she acts by her own will within Allah's ruling, or outside it, is it possible that person would uncover her head? Would she not fear Allah? Because there is the light of Islam in her.

So with these (?) wrong interpretations (?), or by serving dark ambitions, with their wrong interpretation of the verses in this way, that is, with their giving Allah attributes,

with their taking the partial will out of people's hands and tying it to Allah, with their making people forget the covenant, with their saying Allah puts whom He wills into paradise and whom He wills into hell, in this way they have completely degenerated the religion.

These (?). Now all people know it this way. The pilgrim and the hodja alike know it this way.

All the superstitions have settled in this way. When we tell people the truth, it goes against this Islamic creed. Outside the Islamic creed, he denies these hadiths, they say, and without grasping that they themselves are outside Islam, in their ignorance, the people who want to tell him superstitions push him outside the Islamic creed; against a mass that has gathered such a community, one single man, with Allah behind him. We are struggling. We are struggling. If they are right, I say it again, if they are right, for Allah's sake let them warn me with verses. I beg. Because I am a man in love with Allah.

A man striving to earn Allah's mercy. I may be wrong; my mind may make a wrong decision. For Allah's sake, let them stand against me with verses. If they cannot find verses and show me words from this or that person's book, if they get into books of strung-together ideologies and take them as truth by their own minds, for Allah's sake let them come to the verses.

This is the duty of every person who says I am a Muslim. Yes.

Isn't that so?

They made the jinn partners to Allah. Yet Allah created them too. Without knowledge they ascribed sons and daughters to Him. Far from it! He is far above and exalted beyond the attributes they put forward.

What does it say?

The Arab polytheists: daughters belong to Allah, and sons belong solely to them. When they were given news of a daughter, should he sink into the ground for shame, should he move away from his people, or should he, it says, bury his child alive in the earth?

Out of their enmity to Allah Almighty, people worship the jinn and the devils, the father of the jinn.

the jinn if they made partners to Allah, just as they made idols partners to Allah, today are there not people who worship the jinn and Satan? There are. There is a (?) in Mardin. It worships Satan. I came across one of them.

My Lord made me come across many things. He showed me. Sometimes He had me (?). I came across one of them. We, he says, will take revenge on Allah, he says. On whom? I said. With Satan. But Satan is cursed by Allah and was expelled for not prostrating to Adam. He is the preacher of hell, I said. These are Allah's verses, I said. No, he says, together with him we will take revenge on Allah, he says. Whatever I did, he had gone so astray that it was impossible for him to come out of it. But when I looked into him like this, as it says, beware the insight of the believer, for he sees with the light of Allah, it was clear that he truly was a log of hell.

A log of hell. And in human form, but like a phantom. Like a phantom. Then I said to him, I have conveyed Allah's command to you. Allah Almighty does not call to account any soul He has not informed, I said. From now on, I am not going to change your fate. To you your religion and to me mine; now goodbye, he said. Yes.

Out of their enmity to Allah Almighty, people worship the jinn and the devils, the father of the jinn.

Yet Allah created them too. Some people too, again without knowledge, about some created beings for whom there is no evidence, ascribed sons and daughters to Allah. Of these, the Christians said that Jesus is the son of Allah. And the Jews said Ezra is the son of Allah.

Some polytheists too ascribed femaleness to the angels and said the angels are Allah's daughters. With these words they spoke, what a great sin they entered.

I always say it. I seek refuge in Allah from speaking outside Allah's verses, and I feel ashamed to.

When I make a decision, I always bring Allah's verses before my eyes and decide in line with those verses of Allah.

Even if I decide wrongly, because I decided in line with our Lord's verses, Allah will join it to what is right. These people, how they slander Allah without fearing Allah. All right, they are polytheists, but people who say I am a Muslim, although we explain the verses, they with the selfish feelings in them, with their ambition to lead, with the aim of sprinkling their superstitions over the truth, as a being themselves, how do they dare into such a state and rise in rebellion against Allah outside Allah's verses? My mind cannot grasp this either.

He says I am a Muslim, yet he knows nothing of the verses nor of the hadiths; he takes fabrications for hadith, he does not know the verses. And in this case, with superstitions, with wrong ideas that do not support one another, without relying on any evidence, he stands against you with the words of Ahmet and Mehmet. I always say, the words of Ahmet and Mehmet are not valid in my hand. What is valid in my view are the verses, and in my view the hadiths that correspond to the verses. Genuine hadiths. Not fabrications. A fabricated hadith is no hadith anyway. Those are people's own ideologies. Yes. If we separate these ideologies from being hadith, do we go against the Islamic creed?

Well, if, saying these ideologies are Islamic creed, you call it your own ideology and deny the hadith, let them prove it to me from a verse. Isn't that so, (?)? It is so. And since they can prove nothing, with their bare minds, a person who is bound by Allah's verses and, by His hadiths, (?) accordingly, for someone to stand against him with the ideas of Ahmet and Mehmet shows that person's (?). Yes.

So with these words they speak, what a great sin they enter.

Far from it! Allah Almighty is far above and exalted beyond the attributes they put forward. Beyond the attributes they put forward, their making the jinn partners to Allah, their ascribing sons to Allah, their saying he is His son; Allah is free of such attributes. Because He is self-subsisting. Self-subsisting with this attribute, with this essence, it means. That is, He was not created or born of anyone. And He did not beget. Self-subsisting. Allah, the One. He is the Creator.

So with their mouths, what great (?) they make.

Allah is self-subsisting and was not created by any dependency.

He was not born and He did not beget. He is the one who exists (?) by His essence.

Here we will say (?). We cannot exist by our own essence. He is without beginning and without end. This verse describes Him to us so beautifully. The verse describes Allah Almighty so beautifully. What does it say? Huwa'l-awwalu wa'l-akhiru wa'z-zahiru wa'l-batin. What is it? Allah is the First, the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden. Hodja, where is He manifest, then? Look what Abdulqadir Gilani says. He is (?) to the eye that does not see, he says. Manifest (?), manifest, He is present and seeing everywhere. Oh, Hodja, you have committed a sin beyond your size. Why? Well, you have now made Allah visible, far from it.

He is not seen with these eyes in the world. Because it is a realm of the unseen. A realm of the unseen. That is, a realm where His essence is not seen. But He is the First, the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden. He is (?) to the eyes that do not see. That is, you cannot see Him with these eyes. But manifestly He has proven His whole existence to you; in everything He created you manifestly see His existence. You see His work, His art. With a meaning manifesting in you, you bear witness to Allah's existence. How do you bear witness to Allah's existence? I do it too; by reciting the word of testimony, you will say.

You bear witness by faith in the unseen. I bear witness knowingly. I always rely on the verse. The scholars and the angels are those who bear witness to Allah's existence, it says.

Yes. Hodja, who knows; you say this because you know the verses, but He left it to your judgement. However you take it, take it so. Nobody, nobody can say by force: say this, like this. Grasp your own self. But do not forget this saying of Rumi. Tell me a word, he says. I will tell you where you are. Yes.

So this verse describes Him to us so beautifully.

Some idolaters among the Arabs worshipped the jinn and made them partners to Allah, and as we explained in the verse, some peoples said of their prophets that they are Allah's son. This verse was revealed with reference to the Meccan polytheists saying the angels are Allah's daughters. Although the verses came according to the lives of the people of that time, the verses remain until the Day of Judgment. Yes, the verses remain until the Day of Judgment; they keep their validity. Today we hear of many (?). Allah protect us, we hear of people who speak ill even of the Companions, the most select Companions.

people's hair truly stands on end.

These people, truly unaware of themselves,

for worldly gain at the head of some people, and who, for their gain, have certain groups used as tools and write articles in their favour, the religion of Islam, Allah's word, the love of Allah and the Prophet, they push aside, and to earn worldly things, to satisfy their self, people working this way keep sprouting and sprouting; shame on those people; I cannot call them human, but since they were created human by creation, in this realm, human in character, human in form, in form human, but by the covenant they gave, in character, it says, they are like four-legged beasts roaming the earth, even further astray in their way, says Allah Almighty; in this case,

however much you tell these people the truth, Allah Almighty's verse says this. My beloved, you cannot make the deaf hear. The deaf. And the dead, it says, you can never make hear. With the ambition to lead, turning their backs on Allah's verses, people who live for worldly gain, of a certain community, especially those at its head, whom I mean, those at the head anyway, these people drag people into disaster, and behind them there are masses.

These, these, with what they say, commit sins beyond their size and, in dead ends, incur Allah's wrath.

One of them, one of them, a person at the head, (?) they take and give.

There are red writings here. For instance, there are red writings like this.

They examined these, (?) said no such thing can be.

No such thing can be. They left it. Now I have a proposal for you. A proposal.

I wrote something incomplete. In the religion of Islam. I wrote something incomplete. You are at the head of a group too. You are a Muslim.

you took my book in your hand and are reading it; instead of saying no such thing can be, if you called me: friend, you wrote such and such, but it goes against this creed of ours or our view; what is this, what is this, could you explain this to me; when he says that, friend, let us invite you to the root, first of all to the root. (?) let us declare. Let us not give Allah attributes accordingly. Now we will say to him: I have questions for you. One: is Allah Almighty free of deficient attributes? He will say yes.

Did Allah Almighty leave man free in his partial will? He will say yes. Well, the good deeds and sins man does with this partial will, does Allah make him do them, or does man do them? Man does them. Well, if man does them, how do you (?) it on Allah?

With these good deeds and sins man does, how do you put whom He wills into paradise and whom He wills into hell? Think a little. Instead of saying no such thing can be. Both train yourself, learn, and if I am wrong, teach me. If I am wrong, teach me. There is nothing like that either. No such thing can be. Why can't such a thing be? Let me tell you. Because, since all they tell is (?), he himself turns upside down. Because he turns upside down, that existence, pride and arrogance prevent him from turning upside down. It is not 'no such thing can be'. He shuts it. There is a lot of pride around him too.

They warn them too: never listen to this man. Don't listen to this man. Yes. Everyone returns to his nature. The one who listens and the one who does not.

Our duty is to tell the truth. To the Prophet (peace be upon him) too, those polytheists were saying, don't listen to this. We have denied what came from you, they were saying. Well! Time turns and comes round. Within Islam too, those who say I am of Islam, although they are bound by Islam with superstitions, do not want to hear the truth. In this way too, although the verses came according to the lives of the people of that time, the verses remain until the Day of Judgment. This is so because until the Day of Judgment people like these will come to the earth with the same beliefs and behaviours.

Since in our time too people live in the same belief and understanding, the verse's validity lasts until the Day of Judgment. It remains until the Day of Judgment.
