Thus, We explain verses in a detailed way so that they will say; “You have studied” and so that we explain (the Qur’an) to a nation of understanding.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) explains His Verses in a way that people can understand. What is meant by explaining here is that He explains His Verses to every human being, from the scholar to the ignorant, in a way that they can understand, by repeating and reciting the Verses, with various examples, with the art of speaking to people. We are revealing to you such tremendous and divine words and events that are beyond the comprehension of a human being. By your narrating Our verses to the people, every sane person should realize that this is nothing but divine revelation, nothing but the Word of Allah, that you have been raised by your Lord and that you are a Prophet.
Allah's intention in saying: "Let us make the Qur'an clear for a people who understand". The Qur'an has come to the worlds. All human beings are obliged to be judged by the Qur'an. In the realm of property, people, who have their will in their hands, live their own covenant, that is, their own destiny, with the decisions they make. However, those who know Allah as one and make their covenant well, know the truth better. In order for people to be servants of Allah, He has sent the Holy Qur'an to people so that Allah (swt) may explain Our verses so that people may know the truth better, comprehend it better, and attain both their world and their hereafter in peace.
If Allah (swt) had said in this verse, "Let us make the Qur'an clear so that people may understand it better" instead of "Let us make the Qur'an clear so that people may understand it better", it would have been impossible for there to be a non-Muslim on the earth. If Allah had sent the Qur'an so that people would understand it well, there would not have been a single person left, they would have understood the Qur'an and ruled by it. When He uses the word "understanding society", He means here the will and the covenant of man, and He means the witnessing of men to Allah (swt) in proportion to the covenants they have made. He has used the expression of a society that understands so that every human being, in this realm of property, which is the realm of the unseen, can live the life he desires with his own will and free thought, without being pressured or coerced by anyone, and keep himself as a witness to himself, to his surroundings and to Allah.
What is said in the video
In verse 105, look what Allah Almighty says. 'Thus We explain the verses at length, so that they say, "You have studied, you have studied," and so that for a people who understand We make the Quran thoroughly clear.' How beautiful: 'you have studied.' O My Beloved! Being unlettered, you have studied from your Lord; you were raised by the Lord of the worlds. In this case, people who believe in the Lord of the worlds, believing that you are a messenger sent by your Lord, the verses I have sent to My servants — let them understand the verses, grasping them better. Yes. Thus We explain the verses at length so that they say 'you have studied', and so that We make the Quran thoroughly clear for a people who understand.
For a people who understand.
Allah Almighty explains His verses at length in a way people will understand. What is meant by explaining at length here is that, from the scholar to the ignorant, in a way every person will understand, repeating and mentioning the verses, so as to mention them, with examples, He tells people with the art of speech. With the art of speech. Allah Almighty. From the scholar to the ignorant. Repeating the verses and turning the same verses this way and that, He explains the verses so that people will understand.
Our son Mehmet also asked, and this Kalu Bela matter, the covenant there — although we too explain it from every angle, and we do explain it from every angle — still, of course, can we explain it like Allah's art, the way Allah explains it? That is impossible. But our Lord explains it to people. So that they understand. Because He created them; what will minds grasp? He knows that. Yes. So when we explain too, the people who have that capacity can understand. 'Such mighty and divine words, events a human mind cannot grasp, We are revealing to you,' says Allah Almighty. That a human mind cannot grasp.
Why? We are revealing to you verses a human mind cannot grasp. Look and see whether there are words in it that contradict one another, He says. But forgive me. Not in the Holy Quran as it has been rendered. I mean, not in the translation. In these, these verses — within the verses, in Allah's word, you cannot find a single word that contradicts another. Within these verses. Look, let me show you. Within these verses you cannot find a single contradicting word. But you'll find it within these, look. Within these I'm moving my finger over, sir, in these, these writings you can find it. What are these writings? The Turkish translation, the words people rendered.
He renders it by his own reasoning. Although he renders it by his reasoning, although he knows Arabic, although he knows Arabic grammar, although many people sit and consult together, although they gathered for years to write these, there are still words in it that contradict each other. There's your comparison. Look, what a fine comparison. What is it in the translation? Let me repeat it once more. Many scholars gathering, even mastering Arabic grammar, with the consultation of many people, about what meanings the verses could have, consulting as a group, sitting for years, sir, over time — even in the words of the people who wrote the Quran translations there are flaws.
But in Allah's word you cannot find any.
Yes.
Now,
although we prove this so thoroughly — and we do prove it, the events are here —
those who are Muslim yet bound by superstitions, because they cannot fit it into their minds,
me —
either they declare me a fraud. Because it does not fit into their minds. Because they cannot grasp the truth, or else they oppose the truth, or else promised to some — some positions, being in the role of hodja, promised to some — that is, with promises made by non-Muslims to degenerate the religion of Islam — these, knowingly, pitiful people trying to throw falsehood (?). They strive. And Allah Almighty, in every century, brings forth such a scholar. He wipes out all their efforts at once. Why does He wipe them out? Because Allah Almighty will keep His religion alive until the Day of Judgment.
He will carry on the verse 'Truth has come and falsehood has vanished'. Yes.
And the verse 'Allah will perfect His light until the Day of Judgment' will come true.
So, as I always say, I say again: use your reason. Your reason. Because there is nothing that will honor a person and raise him to high ranks as much as reason. If you have money, you may lose it. You earn your money through your reason, too. And again you lose your money through your reason. But if the blessing of reason is used well — except for the afflictions Allah Almighty gives man to test him — man is always honored. So within Allah's verses you cannot find a single contradicting word, but when people — as I said, those who know Arabic, who master its grammar, gather together, 10-15 people as a committee, consulting, sir, 'does it mean this, does it mean that?', and set out to render Allah's verses in translation — there are more than 500 errors that I have found so far.
Errors. Now something else comes to my mind. Look at this error. Look what they say about Allah Almighty. This is just not possible. It does not fit a Muslim's mind. 'Allah, the best of those who make and create,' it says. Look. Look at the verse. It's rendered like this: 'Allah, the best of those who make and create.' What, is there another creator besides Allah? Where does this word lead? This word: Allah is three. Jesus is His son. Ezra is His son. Mary is His wife. They create too. They have worshippers too — it goes all the way there. 'The best of those who make and create,' supposedly.
Whereas Allah, besides whom there is none, besides whom none has the power to create — Allah creates what He creates in the most beautiful way. That is the meaning of the verse. They rendered the meaning of the verse as 'Allah, the best of those who make and create'. It's written here, here. It's written in the Quran. What state is this? What state? People's faith has protected them. Their faith. They haven't turned away, but because they attribute everything to Allah, people have come to this state today. If people had been told that Allah Almighty (?) made a covenant, that every person came to this world to prove what kind of person he is, and also that, with partial free will in his hands, by the deeds he does he will be called to account, and in this case that Allah Almighty will call that person to account for his deeds, and so that they fear Allah, if they had known to carry out Allah's command as they should — and our forefathers lived that way and handed it to us that way.
We too want to hand it on that way.
In that case, would today's situation have arisen? If they had explained it to people this way.
Saying, 'Had Allah willed, He would not have made us like this; had Allah willed, He would not have done that,' they have dragged people into deviation. In this way they have characterized the religion of Islam, sir, with words that contradict one another. And now, saying 'we are serving people', under (?) Islamic websites there are those who speak with deviations. With deviations, under Islamic websites.
We will say: may Allah reform them. Yes.
What are we saying? Thus We explain the verses at length so that they say 'you have studied', and so that We, for a people who understand, make the Quran clear. Thoroughly.
'Such mighty and divine words, events a human mind cannot grasp, We are revealing to you,' says Allah Almighty. By your telling people Our verses, every person of sound mind — this is only a divine revelation. Yes. It is only a divine revelation, of course. If you explain it from its root. If you explain it from the root, the way we explain it, it is a divine revelation. Your mind can understand; you can ask questions, you will ask. So that you learn better. You will ask that question. And we will explain it to you again in the light of the verses, so that you will understand that this truly is Allah's word, a divine word.
Yes.
Saying 'it is nothing other than Allah's word', let them realize that you were raised by your Lord Himself, and that therefore you are a prophet. Yes. Let them realize that he is a prophet. And that this is a divine word. Let them say this is a word that cannot fit into a human mind. Like what? The heavens and the earth. What is between the two have known Allah's remembrance, it says.
That is, whatever has been created from the atom to the globe, that it was all created by Allah — with many verses, the sun, moon and earth system, in a way people's minds can understand; when He says, 'night over day, and day We lay over night' — that He created the worlds with knowledge, how your Lord separated the heavens and the earth when they were together, how He set the mountains firmly on the earth, how between the mountains He made paths for people to find their ways, and that as people see this they see Allah Almighty's miracles, that this, our Lord — beyond human power, only by the might and power of a Creator can it be — and that He created these worlds and that we are His servants — so that we realize this, Allah Almighty warns us with various verses.
He invites us to Himself. Yes.
What Allah Almighty means by saying 'let Us make the Quran thoroughly clear for a people who understand' is that the Quran came to the worlds. To the worlds.
Because Allah Almighty is the Owner of the worlds. He does not want the servants He created to suffer punishment. For this reason, apart from what Allah Almighty programmed within His own will — animals excepted, angels excepted — jinn and humans, humans being left free in their own will, since by the deeds they do they earn reward and sin, and on the Day of Judgment, giving account before Allah Almighty, they will either be (?) or punished, Allah Almighty, out of mercy for His creatures, shows them paths. He shows them the paths of salvation. Yes.
What Allah Almighty means by saying 'let Us make the Quran thoroughly clear for a people who understand' is that the Quran came to the worlds. All people are obliged to be bound by the Quran. All people are obliged to be bound by the Quran. A mercy to the worlds has come. If they had not been bound by the Quran — and some hodjas who don't know their place also say this: 'The Quran came to Muslims.' 'The Prophet is the prophet of Muslims.' One truly grieves. It's not something to laugh at; one's conscience aches. One's conscience bleeds. What kind of hodja — supposedly the hodja of Muslims. So the Quran came to Muslims.
Yes.
All people are obliged to be bound by the Quran. If it were not so, if it had come only to Muslims, non-Muslims would not be called to account. Non-Muslims would not be described as unbelievers in the Quran. Again, that non-Muslims are people of Hell forever in the Holy Quran would not be said.
So the Quran came to the worlds. The Quran came to people within the worlds. To humans and jinn. Those bound by the Quran find salvation. Those who step outside the Quran, those who step outside the Quran, they are the ones who wrong their own souls.
Yes.
People in the visible world who hold their partial free will in their hands live their own covenants, that is, their destinies, by the decisions they make. But those who knew Allah as One in their covenant and gave a good one know the truth better. So that people could be servants to Allah, He sent His Holy Quran to people — Allah Almighty says, let Us explain Our verses thoroughly so that people know the truth better, grasp it better, and in peace win both their world and their Hereafter. Yes.
In this verse Allah Almighty, instead of 'let Us make the Quran thoroughly clear for a people who understand' — instead of that, if He had said it like this: if He had said 'let Us make the Quran thoroughly clear so that people understand better',
it is impossible that a single non-Muslim would be found on earth.
If He had said 'so that people understand better'.
Well then, why doesn't the Creator say it that way? Because He gave people partial free will, and man too wanted his Lord to be known through his own will. In this case, so that those who know His Being could understand these verses better, He sent His word to these people. So that they could understand better. Yes. Because man's will is in his own hands — the will to know or not to know. What are we saying? In this verse Allah Almighty, instead of 'let Us make the Quran thoroughly clear for a people who understand' — if He had said it like this, 'so that people understand better let Us make the Quran thoroughly clear', it is impossible that on earth a single non-Muslim would be found.
Why? Then Allah Almighty, in giving them characters, could not have given a character with a fine grasp to understand the Quran, and Allah Almighty would have ascribed attributes to His own Being.
So when it says 'a people who understand' — to Allah, so it is — on that Day of Judgment, at Kalu Bela, in the people who gave Allah a good covenant, so that they could understand the Quran better, He placed characters. Characters were placed according to everyone's own will. In this case, what does Allah Almighty say to those who deny His Being? We their eyes, He says — We drew a veil over them, We stopped their ears. And We sealed their hearts. For them there is a painful punishment, He says. For those who deny. Yes. It is they who make their eyes, sir, blind to the truth, their ears stopped against the truth. And their hearts — against understanding, against those feelings, against the Quran's fine, delicate words — they have them sealed so as not to understand.
In this case people, people — if Allah Almighty had said, 'so that all people understand better We sent this', since He could not give them characters to understand in that way, He would have ascribed attributes to His Being. So — people who could understand the Quran, who obeyed Allah, who knew His existence, His majesty, who became convinced there is no god but Him and in their covenant said, 'Yes, You are my Lord' — at the very beginning, in (?), there were those three classes, weren't there: 've ashâbu'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbu'l-meymeneh', those of the right, and 'ashâbu'l- meş'emeti mâ ashâbu'l-meş'emeh', those of the left — so, that He placed everyone's characters according to their own wishes and desires, and according to those wishes He speaks these words so finely, so finely — Allah Almighty speaking with such subtlety.
yes
Since Allah does what He wills, had He sent the Quran so that people understand it well, not one person would be left out; they would understand the Quran and be bound by it. By using the phrase 'a people who understand', here partial free will and man's covenant are meant — in proportion to the covenants they gave, people's making themselves witnesses before Allah Almighty is meant. How beautiful. So that every person, in this visible world over against the unseen world, with his own will and free thought, manifesting his own wishes and desires, without pressure or force from anyone — yes — living the life he desired, makes himself a witness to himself, to those around him and to Allah, He has used the expression 'a people who understand'.
