Abandon wrongful deeds whether they are open or disguised. Sinners will surely receive the return for what they have done.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) warned people: O people! If you fear Allah, leave the secret and the open sin. For there is nothing hidden or manifest in the sight of Allah that He is unaware of it.

The fact that Allah says that if people continue to commit sins without fearing Allah, they will surely be punished for what they have done, means that Allah is the owner of justice and does not leave anything unrequited in any way. Every action has its repercussions, and there are rewards and sins in the sight of Allah.

Those who attempt to do what Allah forbids are in a state of defiance against Allah, of not recognizing Him as Lord, and since no being can overpower Allah, people who do such acts are sinners. In return for the sins that will be taken by their actions, people will be liable to punishments. They will be disappointed on the Day of Reckoning, for the punishment will not go unrequited.

Allah forgives those who, when they realize that they have sinned in the age of ignorance, want to get out of the dark and marshy paths and ask Allah for forgiveness. Because Allah is Tawwab. Most accepting of repentance.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-An'am, verse 120: Leave sin, both the open and the hidden. What does it point to? Sin, both the open and the hidden. Those who keep secret lovers.

Those who secretly sell hashish and heroin that will poison people. Those who secretly, among people, say "let (?) not hear, it would be shameful," and exploit the other's conscience. Yes. Leave these, it says, both the hidden and the open. For those who commit sins will surely suffer the punishment for what they did. They cannot deceive Allah Almighty.

If no one sees you, if no one sees you,

never forget this, never let it slip from your mind. You are not alone. One, Allah Almighty sees you, being present and seeing everywhere. How do you know? Set that aside.

The Kiraman Katibin, two angels, on your right and your left. They write down your rewards, your good deeds and your sins.

Set that aside too.

This body of yours, made of flesh and bone, this body of yours, this frame, what drives it is your spirit; you are not one, you are two, (?). Do you know that this body of yours will bear witness against you? Come on, leave the angels aside, the angels on your shoulders. Take even my Lord as an illusion you cannot see, but do you know that this body of yours will bear witness against you? How do you know, Hodja? If you don't believe this either, you leave Islam anyway. How will we know? "When you come before Me with a (?), We will silence your mouths, bind your feet and make your hands speak," it says.

"Why are you testifying against me?" "Allah, who makes me speak, makes me speak," it says. "After the testimony is over, you are returned to the One who first created you," it says. There it dies a second time. O people! Use your reason. The testimony of this body you see is enough against you. Wherever you go, wherever you go, you cannot escape in any direction.

Use your reason. I always say it.

So never resort to sin because they don't see you. And don't resort to sin because no one hears you.

Never forget that at all times, every moment, this body of yours will bear witness against you. Yes.

What was it? Leave sin, both the open and the hidden, for those who commit sins will surely suffer the punishment for what they did, both in this world and in the hereafter, because Allah is the Judge of judges, He accepts no favoritism among people.

Pulling strings does not work with Him. With Him, in one way, it does work. Look, it does work. If you carry out His command, if you perform the prayer, you get His favor. If you have performed the prayer, if you continue with (?), and if you become repentant, He forgives you your sins, He pardons and forgives you. Isn't this a great favor? Isn't this a great salvation? Is He asking you for money or stamps? Bow your head, know your helplessness. (?) from Allah Almighty. And try to be a good person, so that you are favored with your Lord. Otherwise, it says, even if they had this world and another world full of it, when they see this punishment, they would want to give it to Allah as ransom and be saved, it says.

It also explains to us very beautifully that Allah has no need of ransom or of His creatures. How does it explain it? By being free of time and space, by granting life to those who are free of time and space, by all these creatures of His, (?), all living beings, all existence being in need of Allah, and by Allah Almighty, since He is free of time and space, not being in need of them — it shows us this very beautifully. In this case, not one world, not two worlds — even if these realms were full of jewels, the ransom of those who want to give ransom to Allah and be saved will never be accepted.

So what will He accept? Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluhu will be accepted.

Yes.

Allah Almighty warns people: O people! If you fear Allah, leave sin, both the hidden and the open. For with Allah there is nothing, hidden or manifest, that He is unaware of.

Let me tell you, first-hand, what happened to me. There are witnesses to this too. Using my name, some —

my — needing something from some people, saying "I'll do this for you, I'll do that for you," set out to exploit their consciences. In the end, they would tell me, you know — "Not everything is told to the Hodja, it's shameful," he says, "the Hodja doesn't need to know everything," he says, "it's shameful," he says. Some (?) them this way and got large sums from them.

Let's not say "some", it was one person. In this case, in the end, the matter came to light. People set out to get their rights back. Well, wasn't this person ashamed? Didn't he feel shame? Didn't this person use the religion of Islam as a tool and exploit people's consciences? Well, isn't this a hidden sin? Hidden. Well, you do this between two people, but

don't you know that your Lord, as a third, sees you? Don't you know that, as a fourth, the angels bear witness to it? The Kiraman Katibin — and most important of all, don't you know that your body will bear witness against you? Yes. That is how a person loses both this world and the hereafter. He loses. If he does not repent, if he does not give up what he did, if he does not return those people's rights, woe has come upon that person.

These are the world's (?).

The Prophet says so. "The bankrupt of my ummah is the one who goes bankrupt in this world," he says, "the one who goes bankrupt in the hereafter," he says. Yes. That is why secret talks are from Satan, says Allah Almighty. Secret talks, whisperings.

I want to remind you of a saying of Rumi, which is how I live. Either be as you appear, or appear as you are. Your inside and outside will be the same. Your word and your life will be the same.

You will not go near lies, hypocrisy, showing off, secret talks, whisperings. Yes.

So, leave sin, both the open and the hidden. For those who commit sins will surely suffer the punishment for what they did.

One of the hidden sins too, the major sins: a married woman, that is, a woman who has a husband, and another person touching, uniting, a secret life, keeping a lover — this has been forbidden to people, says Allah Almighty. These are the hidden sins, as if Allah does not know it. Both of them are people deserving stoning. Both of them. Yes.

Allah Almighty warns people: O people! If you fear Allah, leave sin, both the hidden and the open. For with Allah there is nothing, hidden or manifest, that He is unaware of. "There is not a single living being until the Day of Judgment whose deeds We do not know," it says. Yes.

What Allah has forbidden — if people, without fearing Allah, continue to commit sins, they will surely suffer the punishment for what they did. For nothing hidden or manifest remains concealed with Allah. As we said before, and as our Lord said, the brightness of the day and the darkness of the night are one with Allah.

His saying "they will surely suffer the punishment for what they did" — since Allah Almighty is just, He leaves no thing in any way without its recompense. Why does He not leave it? Well, it says: Alaysallahu bi-ahkami'l-hakimin. The Judge of judges. The servants are His servants. He never does injustice among them.

"What you earn today is the return of your own (?)," it says. "And so that no one is wronged today, what you have earned will be paid to you in full," it says. And in no way will you be able to blame Allah Almighty; Allah Almighty, with His divinity, will bring all that you did before your eyes; you will be cut off from questioning, and if you have traded your hereafter for this world, (?), you will leave. Is it worth the endless torment of the hereafter for a life of a few hours? Or, as a Muslim, is it worth going outside Allah Almighty's command and making your own nafs, even if (?), subject to punishment? In this worldly life, perhaps for a few seconds compared to your life, for a few seconds of (?), perhaps remaining subject to the punishment there for days and months of this place — is it worth it?

And that as a believer, as one who has said the shahada, saying "I will do what my Lord says," and then resorting to lies and going outside Allah's command.

I say it again, use your time a little. Reflect, reflect.

Yes.

Surely, just as every deed done has its return, with Allah too there are returns as reward and sin. Those who set out to do what Allah has forbidden come to the point of defying Allah, of not recognizing Him as Lord, as if — God forbid — Allah could not overpower any being; surely the people who behave like this become sinners. Allah did not create beings in such a way that He could not overpower them. Their boasting of lineage, their boasting of material things, of the world — all of it will vanish in the hereafter.

Yes, in return for the sins incurred through the deeds they did, people deserve punishments. Since the punishments will not go unrequited, on that Day of Reckoning they will be ruined. Ruined. Yes.

Those who, when they realize they sinned in the days of ignorance, want to escape the dark and swampy paths, who ask Allah Almighty for pardon and forgiveness — Allah Almighty forgives them. Because Allah is al-Tawwab. He is the One who accepts repentance abundantly. Every person commits sins. Because they were created incomplete. The aim: a person will know their helplessness, will know that they need Allah and, submitting to Him, will (?) from Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty created people incomplete. What does He say? "If people had not made mistakes, I would destroy them and create in their place people who make mistakes." He says. By creating people's minds incomplete, He both shows people the way, and when people realize they made a mistake, they will at once admit their helplessness.

They will ask Allah Almighty for pardon and forgiveness. "The best of you (?)," it says. "Is the one who repents at once when he realizes his mistake, when he realizes he sinned," it says. (?) repents. The Prophet also says the following. In connection with this verse: when you commit a sin, immediately do a good deed in return, so that it takes it away, he says. How beautifully he says it. Yes.
