Tafsir
Whoever follows the straight path of Allah, embraces Islam, is governed by the Holy Qur'an sent by Allah, listens to the advice of Allah, and is adorned with piety, Allah promises them the abode of peace. The meaning of the land of peace is that there are gardens for them, in which they will abide forever, enjoying all kinds of blessings and achieving whatever they want, and that not even a sadness will touch them.
These people (Allah is their friend because of the good deeds they do) Allah does not intend injustice to the worlds. But people do wrong their own souls. Therefore, if people judge by what Allah says and follow Allah's advice, they are doing good deeds. When people fulfill the commands and prohibitions of Allah (swt), when they fear Allah (swt) and love Him (swt), Allah (swt) calls out to such servants (lebbeyk) my servant. Tell me, ask me, and I will give you what you want. Just as when a person is in distress and asks for something from a friend or acquaintance in the world and they give it to him, they are that person's friends. Allah is the friend of man, besides giving freely.
Thus, if Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, and created man, becomes the friend of man, he will have a treasure that is incomparable to anything else in creation. Blessed are such people.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 127 of Surah Al-An'am.
With their Lord there is for them the abode of peace, Paradise, and because of the good deeds they used to do, Allah is their friend, it says. Yes, with their Lord there is for them the abode of peace, that is, Paradise is there. What they used to do: the worship — that there is no god but Allah — the polytheists also worship, but by associating partners with Allah; that there is no god but Allah. That Muhammad (peace be upon him) is Allah Almighty's servant and Messenger, that the Quran was sent by Allah as truth, that all the prophets were sent to mankind as truth, that people will be resurrected after death.
That good and evil come from Allah, believing in Allah's angels and books and His prophets, and with the worship they do — there are those who believe in these but cannot master their egoistic feelings. Within this faith, in the word of testimony, people who are Muslims struggle against the nafs, bring their nafs to maturity, on the path Allah spoke of they persevere, remember their Lord and read His verses, ask Allah Almighty for help. In this case, if he opens his heart to Islam, hastens to good deeds, strives for Allah's sake, then such people, in this case, as our Lord says, become heirs to these Paradises that are the abode of peace.
And because of the good deeds they used to do, Allah is their friend, it says. Their friend. Yes. So whoever enters Allah's (?) right path, is honoured with Islam, is governed by the Quran Allah Almighty sent, listens to Allah's counsels, adorns himself with taqwa — for these there is the abode of peace, Allah says. The meaning of the abode of peace: for them, in which they will stay forever, possessing every kind of blessing, and attaining their every wish, not even a sorrow will touch them, as He said — there are Paradises, He says. Yes. In this case, if a person wants to attain greater places in Paradise, more of Allah Almighty's great mercy, he will rise to contentment, contentment, to the manifestations.
That is, he will pass the commanding nafs, pass the self-reproaching nafs, and from the inspired nafs, without looking at the door of miracles, he will pass beyond it too, rise to the contented nafs, become aware of the manifestations, and attain the attribute of believer. When he attains the attribute of believer, as we always say, Allah Almighty, in the Quran, Surah Al-Fajr, 27 and 30, in the verses: O contented soul! Enter among My servants, enter My Paradise, your Lord pleased with you and you pleased with your Lord — you enter among the people of whom He said this. If such people advance further, together with Allah Almighty's pardon and forgiveness, our Lord grants them many gifts.
One of these gifts: neither sorrow nor stain, it says, touches their faces, it says. Neither sorrow nor stain touches them. What does this mean? He gives them the station of intercession. The station of intercession. Man was not created free of error.
That saintly servant who is Allah's friend also makes mistakes. Knowingly or unknowingly, he may break some people's hearts. In this case this becomes a stain on him. Then Allah Almighty, in the hereafter, to that person: come here, you — from this servant of Mine, this servant of Mine — I have dues to collect. Yes. He did this and this to me. Now ask of Me, He says. What will you ask for? To forgive him his due.
And that person rejoices. If only he had violated my rights a little more, he says. And he forgives him his due. He also kisses him on the cheeks. And so Allah Almighty has that sorrow, that stain removed from him. He has that stain removed from him too. For his sake He also brings the other servant to safety. And then sorrow, it says. Sorrow. What is this sorrow in the person? His mother, father, maternal uncle, paternal uncle, aunt, close relatives, or friends he loved — he sees that, sinful but having gone as Muslims, they are in Hell. Bound for Hell — he asks Allah Almighty for them too in prayer. So that he does not grieve, Allah Almighty, for his sake, grants them to him. This is the station of intercession.
Such people, people, when through good deeds they become Allah's friends, Allah Almighty, besides this abode of peace, by giving them the station of intercession, both raises their ranks and, bringing them peace in their hearts, sends them to the exalted Paradise with (?).
Yes. Because of the good deeds these people used to do, Allah Almighty is their friend. Allah wills no injustice to the worlds. Yes. Our Lord wrongs no one. What does He say? We do not wrong people, those We created. You wrong yourselves with your own souls, He says. Only people wrong their own souls. In this respect, if a person is governed by what Allah says and holds to Allah's counsels, these will have done good deeds. When people carry out Allah Almighty's commands and prohibitions, fearing Allah and loving Him very much, Allah too calls to such servants of His: Lebbeyk, My servant. What is this Lebbeyk, My servant?
Allah's friend, right — when he becomes His friend.
Our Lord, you know, when people go to Arafat, there, Lebbeyk Allahümme lebbeyk, lebbeyke lâ şerîke leke lebbeyk, inne'l-hamde ve'n-ni'mete leke ve'l-mülk, lâ şerîke lek — they recite the (?) talbiyah, you know, that is: command, my Allah, command; I have come at Your command, my Allah, command, they say. You have no partner, my Allah, command, they say. They keep reciting this talbiyah. So Allah Almighty too says to those who are His friends: Lebbeyk, My servant, you speak, you speak, He says. Does He not know what he will say? He knows. In this case, the words that come out of such people's mouths never fall to the ground, and Allah Almighty, those people and (?) to the ground — since they do not fall, such people He has veiled among His servants.
He has veiled them, and to those servants — between those servants and Allah Almighty there is a bond of the heart. There are conversations by the heart, by manifestations, by inspiration. Yes, may Allah Almighty, God willing, include the whole community of Muhammad, the believing men and women, among such servants. You speak, He says, ask, I will give what you wish, He says.
Yes, when a person falls into hardship and asks for something, the people who give him what he asked are that person's friends. Allah, however, besides giving without return, is man's friend. So what do you say to your friend? You say: brother, I am in such a situation, I need this much money. Or: I need people like this. What does the other friend say? Of course, right away, he says. Right away he mobilises those in his house, I mean. Why? His friend is a person he loves. Think that this is a person Allah loves. If this person asks of Allah, or it passes through his heart, will Allah leave him alone? Yes. Thus the heavens and the earth, what is between them — and Allah, who created man and is his owner — if He becomes man's friend, this person has come to possess a treasure that cannot be compared with anything created.
Has come to possess a treasure that cannot be compared with anything. Including the heavens and the earth. Why? Because Allah created the heavens and the earth. If you become the friend of that Creator, of course a wealth that cannot be compared with anything you will have come to possess. Blessed are such people, we say. Yes.
Yes.
