Translation

For everyone, there are degrees that correspond to the deeds they commit. Your Lord is not unaware of what they are doing.

Tafsir

People have a degree with Allah (swt) in proportion to the covenant they have made with Allah (swt), and each person has a degree with Allah (swt) for his deeds. These degrees are graded according to their faith or disbelief. The grading of these people is only ordained by Allah. In this respect, since the evaluation of the good deeds or sins committed is with Allah, it has not been made known to people how the good deeds or the bad deeds, i.e. the sins, are graded. In other words, if a person commits a good deed, how much good will he get, what is the measure, or if he commits a sin, how much sin will he get, how will this be evaluated, what is the measure, Allah Almighty. Its value is with Allah.

In this respect, before people come to the realm of property, their desires are destined for them in proportion to the covenant each person has made. What each person will do and their rank in the sight of Allah is known to Allah. Therefore your Lord is not unaware of what they do).

Despite the fact that Allah (swt) reminds people of His existence through various verses, reminding them of what people will do, how Allah (swt) is aware of what they do, and that everyone has a rank in the sight of Allah (swt), it would be a pity for people if they ignore these ranks and turn their backs on the blessings that Allah (swt) will bestow upon them in the Hereafter by turning to the temporary realm of property, exchanging the blessings of the land of eternal bliss for the blessings of the temporary world.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-An'am, verse 132: everyone has ranks according to the deeds they did. Of course, everyone, according to the worship he does or the work he has undertaken, has a rank. What are they? Nafs-i emmare, nafs-i levvame, nafs-i mülhime, nafs-i mutmainne, nafs-i raziye, nafs-i marziye, nafs-i safiye. That is, these are all states of the nafs according to the ranks people hold. Apart from this, the non-Muslims. They too have ranks. For example, what does it say? In the lowest layer — not of Hell, a layer. In its lowest layer are the hypocrites, He says. According to the work they undertake, the actual deeds they do, everyone will receive reward and sin.

And look, everyone has ranks according to the deeds they did. Your Lord is not unaware of what they do, He says. Your Lord — not only of people, of what even the atoms in the whole universe will do — is not unaware. Because He created everything within a framework of knowledge and within His decree. His decree. There is no atom that moves outside His decree. Yes. In proportion to the pledge people gave to Allah Almighty, every person, in return for the deeds he will do, (?) a rank with Allah Almighty. Every person. Now, let us say, those who never pray, well, those who drink alcohol and gamble — are they equal to one who prays and says Allah?

Of course, being in a state where one can use the desires of the nafs, normally in nafs-i levvame, the nafs-i emmare is not the same. And the person who prays and worships in his nafs-i levvame, is he equal to the person in his nafs-i mülhime? That is not equal either. Why? Well, one prays and worships but does not pay attention to halal and haram. But the other has adorned himself with taqwa and risen to nafs-i mülhime. That is, he has come to the gate of wonders (karamat). In that case, against (?) of the nafs, with the actual deeds he has done, is it equal to nafs-i mutmainne? No. Because he (?), has mastered his nafs, has become aware of the divine manifestations.

Like this, everyone has ranks according to the deeds they did. Your Lord is not unaware of what they do. Truly, for Allah Almighty, the darkness of the night, its pitch darkness, and the brightness of the day are one. What does it say? On a pitch-dark night, on a pitch-black stone, the crawling of a pitch-black ant — Allah, who knows, hears and sees it.

Even behind strong fortresses, that is, wherever you may be, Allah is aware of you, of people. Yes. In proportion to the pledge people gave to Allah Almighty, every person, in return for the deeds he will do, has a rank with Allah Almighty. These ranks are graded in proportion to faith or in proportion to lack of faith. The ranking of these people is determined only by Allah. Indeed, Allah knows the degree of good deeds and sins. Well, some say: you do this, you get fifty tons of reward; you do that, a hundred tons of reward; you do this, one ton of reward. It is not like that. Allah Almighty says the major sins are hidden in the minor, and the minor sins in the major.

That is, to purify you of all sins, your rank with Allah only He determines. He knows the actual deeds you do. In what degree and how He will give you reward.

This depends on the work you have undertaken, on your deeds, on your intention. Yes, the ranking of these people is determined only by Allah. Therefore, since the evaluation of the good deeds or sins committed is with Allah, how people's good deeds or their sayyi'at, that is, their sins, are graded, to people has not been made known. That is, if a person does a good deed, how much reward does he get? What is its measure? Or if he commits a sin, how much sin does he get? How is this evaluated? What is its measure? (?) Their values are with Allah. Our Lord closed this off like this. Otherwise you would take a sheet of paper in hand in the world.

I do this good deed, I get this many degrees. And when I commit this sin, I get this much sin, but my nafs does it. Let me do it too. From this many degrees I'll drop this much, you say. You do its sums. Allah Almighty, because He loves you, because He loves people very much, tries to purify you from sin and always raise your rank higher. And He does not leave the surplus to you either. If, for the sin you did, He says, you (?) and turn to your Lord and seek forgiveness, I will forgive your sin too and turn it into a good deed, He says. How beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. Yes. So, as people say, may you get this much reward, may you get this reward, and so on. These are all stories.

Therefore, before people came to the realm of mulk, in proportion to the pledge each gave, people's wishes were written for them as destiny. What each person will do and their ranks with Allah are, by Allah Almighty, known. That is why your Lord is not unaware of what they do.

This being so, though Allah Almighty, by various verses, reminds people of His existence, of what people will do, of how Allah is aware of what they do, and that everyone has with Allah a rank — despite this reminder of Allah Almighty, if people, without heeding these ranks of theirs, turn to the transient realm of mulk, and exchange the eternal abode of bliss's blessings for transient worldly blessings, and on the blessings Allah Almighty will give people in the realm of the hereafter turn their backs, these people do themselves harm. Yes.
