We forbade all animals with hoofs for the Jews. And We also forbade the inner fats of cow and sheep with the exception of the fats that are in their backs, in their entrails or what is mixed with the meat. These are punishments We have given to them for their oppression and verily, We say the truth.
Tafsir
All hoofed animals are forbidden to the Jews. This is because they unjustly killed the Prophets, falsified the Books sent by Allah, changed the Verses of Allah with their own hands, called what is lawful haram and what is unlawful lawful, took usury and interest, and unjustly oppressed people, so some elements of these animals have been forbidden to them. Allah has also forbidden them their internal fat, except for some fat that they carry on their backs or in their bones or in their intestines. In fact, these are not things that Allah has made forbidden, but He has forbidden them what is lawful in order to test them in response to the injustice committed by the Jews. Indeed, with the Prophet Jesus, He removed these prohibitions from the Jews.
Surely Allah is free from all deficient attributes. He is truthful. There is no deficiency in what He says. Allah is not angry with any of His creatures and does not consider them His rivals. If He afflicts people with calamities and forbids them certain permissible things, it is so that they may come to their senses and be guided. In this respect, Allah always shows people the paths of guidance in a way that gives them life. Those who oppose it are wrongdoers against their own souls and expose themselves to torment.
What is said in the video
Verse 146 of Surah Al-An'am: To the Jews We forbade every animal with claws, it says. Allah Almighty forbade the Jewish people all animals with claws. Before the Prophet came, because they associated many partners with Allah Almighty, ascribed partners; they called themselves the sons of Allah, said we are Allah's close ones, said Ezra is the son of Allah, they said and said, that is, they shamelessly said everything, and they still say it, they go on; in this situation Allah Almighty, so that they would come to their senses, forbade them animals with claws.
Except the fat they carry on their backs or in their entrails, or fat mixed with bone, the inner fat of cattle and sheep We also forbade them.
This is the penalty We gave them for their wrongdoing. And We are surely truthful, it says. That is, there is a great meaning here. What does it say? Look, We are surely truthful, it says. That with their rabbis, with their own hands, by changing the books, the verses: these were not made haram for us and we can eat these, by their saying so, Allah Almighty says, do not listen to their words. As I am your Lord, since no deficiency whatsoever will ever come from Me, what does He say? Of course We will speak the truth. Do not believe them, He says. We forbade these to them, He says. Yes. This is the penalty We gave them for their wrongdoing.
And We are surely the truthful, it says. We are truthful. Yes. No one can speak as truly as our Lord. No created being. Why can they not speak truly? Because they do not know the unseen. Because they do not know, they make some comparisons, or by their own lights some words are used as if foretelling the future. He uses words. When those do not come true, of course he will have lied. He will have lied. Even if he did not resort to lying, even if he imagined it so, yes, in that way, because he understood and knew it that way, people with our short reason may say things incompletely. In that case, since Allah knows the essence and core of the matter, He never says anything incompletely; He says it fully.
Yes, who keeps faith with his word as Allah does, it says. Because Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes.
All animals with claws were made haram for the Jews. And the reason for this: because they killed the prophets unjustly and distorted the books Allah sent, changing Allah's verses with their own hands, called the halal haram and the haram halal, practised usury and consumed interest, and oppressed people unjustly, certain parts of these animals were made haram for them.
With the Prophet (peace be upon him), who came as a mercy to the worlds, these prohibitions were lifted. Since the Quran came to the worlds, all people can be bound by the Quran's legal rulings. It is halal for all of them. Allah Almighty does not make it haram for one and halal for another. In the Holy Quran, the Prophet, who came as a mercy to the worlds, also makes these known. But He lifted these prohibitions from them. Why did He lift them? For the sake of the Prophet; he came as a mercy to the worlds, so He would not discriminate. Yes.
Even with Jesus: I have come, it says, to lift some prohibitions from you, I have come, it says, to Jesus. Even so, they set about killing him too. And by informing on his whereabouts they had him seized, and in (?) they imprison him. When they were about to crucify Jesus, Allah Almighty raised him to the heavens. The commander who went inside was made to look like Jesus, and the commander who wanted to take Jesus out and crucify him is crucified and dies. Yes.
Those who made this haram: except some fat they carry on their backs, on their bones or in their entrails. The inner fat too was made haram for them. Indeed, through the prophet Jesus, He lifted from the Jews these prohibitions they had made haram. Some prohibitions; anyway, here we did not explain the sentence fully. What did we say? Indeed, through the prophet Jesus, He lifted from the Jews these prohibitions they had made haram, we said. Now Jesus lifts some prohibitions; the Prophet (peace be upon him) has all the prohibitions lifted. He lifts all the prohibitions. Yes. We will go over these parts anyway.
We will explain them more meaningfully, God willing. Surely Allah is free of deficient attributes.
He is the one who speaks the truth. The one who speaks the truth. There is no deficiency in what He says. Allah does not get angry at any of His creatures and see it as His rival. But poor people say Allah is the enemy of these. Allah forbid. Allah is no one's enemy. If Allah were an enemy, He would be given attributes. That is one. If Allah were an enemy, weakness (?)? That is two. If Allah were an enemy, since He grants life to His enemy, it could be taken in many senses. In many senses. That is why Allah Almighty is no one's enemy. Every soul is its own enemy. Every soul. Because every soul will taste death and in the end your return is to Me, says Allah Almighty.
Your return is to Me. That is when they will be caught.
They will be caught.
There is no deficiency in what He says. Allah does not get angry at any of His creatures and see it as His rival. If He gives people afflictions and makes some mistakes, or halal things, haram for them, halal things; (?) here we have written halal things. That part, please. Give me a minute. Halal things. Yes.
If He makes some halal things haram, it is so that people come to their senses and reach guidance. So that they reach guidance. Therefore Allah always shows people the paths of guidance in a way that gives them life. Because, as we said before, Allah Almighty loves people very much. In this case too, it comes from His love for them, from His Being, from (?). For example, (?), if you picture a conscientious father, however bad his children are, he always wants them to be good. He always wants them to be good and always wants good news to come from them. Being a father, being a human; and since Allah Almighty gave of His part to that person, He waits patiently for those people to return to His Being.
But because He knows what the people who will come until the Day of Judgement will do, He is not hasty like us. One of His names is As-Sabur. In the Holy Quran As-Sabur occurs in 103 places: patience, As-Sabur. Yes, one must be patient. Those who oppose this, being unjust to their own selves, leave themselves exposed to torment. Yes. People leave their own selves exposed to torment.
