If they deny you, say; “Your Lord is the possessor of great forgiveness. And Allah’s punishment is not distanced from the people who commit great sins.”
Tafsir
O Messenger! If they deny you, tell them that your Lord has mercy. This means: O people! Allah will forgive you if you repent for the sins you have committed, for the sins you committed in the age of ignorance, for associating partners with Allah, for disobeying His commands. But if, within such a wide scope of forgiveness, you are still with your ego, still following the footsteps of Shaytan, still following the taghut, Allah's punishment will not be removed from the guilty people.
Allah (swt) is just, and He pays every soul what it has earned in full, without injustice to anyone among His servants. Therefore, those who continue in their rebellion, who deny Allah and His Messenger, who deny what Allah says in exchange for material goods, these are the ones who have bought the misery of the eternal life in exchange for this temporary world of property. These are the porters. A porter is not someone who carries a load on his back. These are the masters. These are the people who work to support their families, their children, and to protect their honor and dignity, obeying the commands of Allah. Some people work with their bodies, some people work with their heads. In the end, both are working. They are not porters. A porter is a person who is burdened with the world and bankrupt in the hereafter. In one of his hadiths, the Prophet (s.a.w.) says: "The bankrupt of my ummah is not the bankrupt in this world but the bankrupt in the Hereafter." Here, bankrupt means bankrupt. Accordingly, this hadith says that the bankrupt of my ummah is not the bankrupt in this world but the bankrupt in the Hereafter. So these people, those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger, or who follow them and pervert the words of Allah in exchange for material goods, or who lead the way in disbelief, and Allah calls them the guilty, from whom the punishment will not be taken away. These are the ones who have bought eternal torment in the eternal life of hell.
Now I say, O people! Despite the fact that every mind is created knowing its Lord, those who do not compromise on their stubbornness, hatred and pride, those who are with their nafs, those who see the evil ways shown to human beings by the devil as ornamental, are they worth buying the torment of hell by putting the life of paradise, which is the abode of eternal bliss, into torment and suffering for this temporary mortal world?
If Allah is Allah, and no one can escape from Him, and no one can prevent Him from doing so, and if He is the One who is all-powerful and has no partner in His sovereignty, can you escape death and appearing before Him by running away from Him? So is it worth it to buy the torment of the abode of eternal bliss in order to satisfy the pleasure of your ego for a moment while living in this temporary realm? In this respect, Allah (swt) says in many verses in the Holy Qur'an: "O mankind! (I will hold you to account for not using your intellect;) O mankind! Do you never ponder?) (Do you never think?) He constantly warns people with verses.
Which mind can turn away from Allah by taking refuge in any power or force? I say again, O people! Repent with remorse for the sins you committed in the age of ignorance and for the wives you used to associate with Allah, as Allah (swt) says in the verse I have written. Do not misrepresent the Verses of Allah by misleading people, and do not lead yourselves to destruction by being the pioneers of disbelief and buying the Hell of Allah and its torment. Contemplate a lot and use your intellect. All souls will taste death, so remember death a lot so that your heart stays alive.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 147 of Surah Al-An'am. Praise be to Allah.
If they deny you, it says, if they deny you, say: Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy. Yes, the possessor of vast mercy. Yet His torment cannot be turned away from the community of the guilty.
From the community of the guilty.
So, if they deny you, say: Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy.
I am trying
to touch on a topic here. I want to try.
The Prophet (peace be upon him), that is, when the Mahdi comes, when he says I am the Mahdi, when he begins to explain the truth to people and to show people the way in the light of the verses, within the religion of Islam the superstitious, who see themselves as privileged, will stand against the Mahdi. And they will fight him. They will fight. How painful. He says he is a Muslim. Bound by superstitions. He does not believe what the Mahdi says. He denies him. He denies him. Because he is filled with superstitions and Allah's verses are the exact opposite of superstitions, he sees that he is finished.
Desire of the self, pride. The passion to be the head. He turns himself to armed struggle against the Mahdi. But
they will be suppressed. Just like an internal rebellion, they will be suppressed.
What a painful event. Against the Mahdi, truly a very painful event. Because in this time too, against those who explain the verses, the same attacks have begun,
these are superstitious groups that follow one another as if coming from a chain. Seeing themselves as privileged against the verses, bound by superstitions, or by distorting the words of those who explain the truth, seeing themselves as privileged at a certain level, making people follow them, and even, I will point to a very painful matter, exploiting their consciences, exploiting their consciences, those who live in pleasure and enjoyment.
Yes.
A very painful event. Within Islam. Against Islam, against the religion of Islam, with actions and behaviour unbecoming of the quality of Islam, the word Islam, people who (?) like this.
So, if they deny you: these are verses that will keep manifesting until the Day of Judgement. That is why people are not bound by the verses. By what are they bound? By superstitions, by the desires of the self, by worldly interests, by exploiting consciences.
Well, you, Hodja, I exploit no one's conscience. I do not even ask anything of those who offer. Of those who offer. My whole aim is service to Allah. The one who will give my reward is Allah. I do not sell these words of mine for material things. Even if they were a world full of jewels, they could not be compared with them. Even if they were a world full of jewels, Allah's verses could not be compared with them. Yes. So, if they deny you, say: Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy. That is, use your reason.
Our Lord has placed this reason upon you as knowing the truth regarding your Lord who created you. So if you break your self, use your reason and are with what is right, your Lord is the possessor of vast compassion. He forgives you. He forgives. Yet His torment is not turned away from the community of the guilty. That is, if you still persist, if you sink into the desires of the self, if you deify your self, if you try to spread falsehood over the truth, while Allah will complete His light until the Day of Judgement, you will only have wronged your own self; in that case, in that case, torment will never be lifted from you, it says. Yes.
It will never be turned away, nor will the torment be lifted from you.
Allah Almighty, to the Prophet (peace be upon him), say, with (?), what do we say? O My Beloved, if they deny you; you are explaining Allah's verses. They are not denying you. They are denying Allah's. They are denying Allah's verses. Yes, say: Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy, O man, use your reason, return to your Lord who created you, so that, by stripping yourself of those bad deeds you have done, of your opposition to the verses, of your superstitious ideas, you may attain Allah's vast mercy, it says.
(?), O people. For the sins you have committed, for associating partners with Allah in the time of ignorance, for not listening to His command, if you repent of the sins you have committed, We will forgive you, says Allah Almighty. So, even if your sins reached the clouds in the sky, if you repent with a sincere heart, turn to Allah and promise Allah Almighty never to sin again, though a person is not free from sinning, (?), of course, from major sins, and opening your heart to Allah, since deeds depend on intentions, to us, it says, We change those sins of yours, your load of sin, into good deeds, it says.
We change them into rewards, it says. Yes.
But if, within such a wide scope of forgiveness, within such a wide scope of forgiveness, you still go with your self, follow Satan's tracks and obey the taghut, Allah's torment will never be turned away from the community of the guilty. Yes.
Our Lord is the possessor of vast compassion.
Because Allah Almighty is the possessor of justice, so that no injustice is done to anyone among His servants, He pays every soul in full the recompense for what it earned. What does He say? What you have earned is the recompense of your own two hands, He says. Of every soul: fa man ya'mal mithqala dharratin khayran yarah; Allah Almighty, who writes the good of an atom's weight, and of every soul (?) evil, Allah Almighty, who writes; and wa man ya'mal mithqala dharratin sharran yarah, and of every soul (?) evil, Allah Almighty who writes, who has it written, of course. To the noble angels, sir, every state of ours they wrote, every word of ours that the noble scribe angels wrote, sir, the rewards and sins with which they filled the books, the dealings of the actual deeds we did as the recompense of our own two hands.
What does He say? Allah Almighty: tomorrow, on that Day of Gathering, when your books are laid before you, they will say alas. (?) everything has been written down, they will say. So today no soul will be wronged, He says. What you have earned is the recompense of your own two hands, He says. The recompense of your own two hands. That is, Allah Almighty wrongs no soul. No soul. Yes.
In that case, in that case, people will have wronged their own selves. Because Allah Almighty is the possessor of justice, so that no injustice is done to anyone among the servants, He pays every soul in full the recompense for what it earned. Therefore those who persist in their transgression, who deny Allah and His Messenger, who for material gain have sold what Allah said into denial, these are the porters. Porters. The Prophet (peace be upon him) says: the bankrupt of my community, that is, the one who goes bankrupt, is not the one who goes bankrupt in this world. It is the one who goes bankrupt in the Hereafter.
So the person who has loaded the world on his back and gone bankrupt in the Hereafter is a porter. He is a porter of the world. Since he cannot take a speck from here to the Hereafter, the person who loads the burden of sin on his back and goes to the Hereafter with the burden of sin, if not a porter, what is he? If not a porter, what is this? He will not be able to take a speck from the world. To the Hereafter. The acts of worship you have done, it says. The meat and blood of the animals you slaughter, it says, do not reach Allah. Your acts of worship reach Allah, it says. In that case, if you do not worship Allah, if you feel (?) for the creatures of Allah and love them but turn your back on Allah, if you gather the world without asking halal or haram,
and in the end leave it in the world and go to the Hereafter with the burden of sin, if you are not a porter, what are you? How beautifully the Prophet says in his hadith: the bankrupt of my community is not the one who goes bankrupt in this world, it says, but the one who goes bankrupt in the Hereafter.
Those who deny Allah and His Messenger, who for material gain lead what Allah said astray into denial, in exchange for this transient world of dominion, these are the ones who buy the agony of eternal life. So these are the porters. Porters. One day I suffered an injustice. An injustice. And I was thinking.
Let me (?) from this injustice. That is, let me get out of here and go. (?), I am saying.
It wells up inside me just like that. Somehow. Whom do they call a porter, it says. And pressing like this: whom do they call a porter, it says. Do you know whom they call a porter? Good heavens, I am praying. I am in the presence of my Lord, I say. What do I have to do with a porter? I am in the presence of my Lord, I say. I am both reciting and speaking that way. Say it, say it, they say. Whom do they call a porter? Now distress came over me. And I am in prayer. And the one who carries a load on his back; I am both praying and saying it. They call it the one who prays. That one is a gentleman, a gentleman, they said.
A gentleman. A gentleman who works to provide for his home. Then whom do they call a porter? The world, it says. The person who has loaded the world on his back and gone bankrupt in the Hereafter is a porter. And that one is in front of you, they said. I gave the salam in the prayer. I went out and saw: the person who had wronged me. Now, I said, fine. I am leaving here now. If that man greets me, since I have the manners to return his greeting, I said, I will not even return (?) greeting. And I had a flat. I sold it to a Turk from Germany without taking money. I did not take the money either. The man said, I have no money.
If you give it to me, he said, I will send you the money from Germany. I do not even know the man. Take it and go, brother, I said. I gave it, got up and left. But the man did send my money.
Yes. Like that.
Porter, porter of the world. Allah forbid. If these do not return to the truth, if these do not turn to Allah in repentance, if they go on in that state, I am not saying he went as an unbeliever, but torment to their selves. By wronging, they will have passed to the Hereafter. Who would want, in the eternal, endless world of the Hereafter, to stay in the prison of Hell and then come out and go to Paradise? How much of a place will he get in Paradise after that? Don't you want to have a yacht, a palace, houses in the world? Wouldn't you want to have vineyards, gardens, sir, places beneath which rivers flow?
Well then, you will not be a porter of the world. Yes, you will work hard. You will not waste. You will also give your zakat. You will also perform your hajj. We will take what our Lord has decreed for us, our provision. From the halal, in halal places, for Allah's sake, we will spend it. Who? With their lives and their wealth, it says, they buy Paradise, says Allah Almighty. Yes. So, since we cannot take anything to the Hereafter, since we cannot take anything from the world, with our actual deeds, either good works or our acts of worship, to attain our Lord's mercy, we will work in the world.
A porter is not the one who carries a load on his back. These are gentlemen. Here we tell you the event we were made to live in this way, and we tell it like this. They are gentlemen. They are people who work, obeying Allah's commands, to support their families, their children, and to protect their honour and dignity. Some people work with their (?), some people work with their heads. In the end, both are working. These are not porters. A porter is the person who has loaded the world and gone bankrupt in the Hereafter. In a hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: The bankrupt of my community is not the one who goes bankrupt in this world but the one who goes bankrupt in the Hereafter.
Müflis here means the one who goes bankrupt. Accordingly, in this hadith he says the one who goes bankrupt in my community is not the one who goes bankrupt in this world but the one who goes bankrupt in the Hereafter. Accordingly, these people, those who deny Allah and His Messenger, or those who, following them, lead Allah's words astray for material gain, those who lead in unbelief, whom Allah addresses as the guilty;
the Prophet (peace be upon him) too in his hadiths calls them those guilty ones; where they are, they rise to the highest position, he says, so that they increase their unbelief. Yes. That is the counterpart of our Lord's noble verses anyway. The hadith is the counterpart of the verses. The leading men of that city, it says. As the ringleaders of those guilty, they serve there, it says, so that they increase their own sins. That is why, to those ringleaders, it says, to the centres of the cities, that is, to that guilty one who is the ringleader himself, unless We send a person to warn of the truth, We do not destroy them, it says.
Good heavens. Our Lord.
So torment will not be turned away from these. If they go that way, these are the ones who buy the eternal torment of the eternal life of Hell. Now I say: O people, although every mind was created knowing its Lord first, those who make no concession on their stubbornness and pride, on their stubbornness and pride, who are with their self, who see the bad ways Satan shows to man as adorned, for this transient (?) world, is it worth buying the torment of Hell by turning the life of Paradise, the abode of eternal bliss, into torment and agony? we say. Yes. Is it worth it?
Since Allah Almighty, since He is Allah, since Allah is the Allah who created the worlds, no one can escape by fleeing from Him; what does He say? Even if you went to the remotest corner of the universe, We would find you there, He says. We find. Because the universe, the universe, the seven heavens, this world surrounded by (?), compared to Allah Almighty, is like the view inside a room.
He is the one who also created the (?). Yes.
Since no one can escape by fleeing from Him, and since no one can stand in His way, no one. That is, on that Day of Reckoning He has neither a spouse nor a partner. That day, it says, in the verse, that day the judgement is Mine alone, He says. Judgement. When they speak in His presence, He says to them: Be silent. Be silent. Today there is no speaking in My presence, He says. The judgement is Mine alone, He says. That day. At that Supreme Court Allah, the Judge, the Judge of judges, that day will give His judgement to everyone. Yes.
Since no one can stand in His way, He who is the absolute power and has no partner in His judgement, will you be able to escape death and appearing in His presence by fleeing from Him? You will neither be able to flee from death nor escape appearing in His presence. Every soul will taste death and in the end your return is to Me: according to that verse, yes, everyone will be called to account in the presence of Allah Almighty. We will create you again down to your fingertips, it says. And the fingertips do not resemble one another, that is, the fingerprints. The fingerprints of the people who will come until the Day of Judgement do not resemble one another either.
So We will again bring you out of the earth in your original form, it says. In your original form. In that case, just as you believe you came into being from nothing, that after death too you will be gathered in the presence of Allah Almighty, if you cannot believe this,
although your reason is proof over you, you are nothing but a person who deifies his self and denies Allah.
Because you deify your self knowingly. Because every mind knows that it was created by a Lord. At this point, although every person knows he was created by a Lord, will that person be left to roam free in this world? Will no one in this world question him? Suppose in the world no one asked; does that person think that, like animals, eating, drinking, having intercourse, carrying on his life, he will vanish and be gone? Allah Almighty, who has bestowed so many blessings on him, addressing every mind, sending prophets, leaving every people as an example for future generations by destroying those who deny, addressing future times with verses, creating miracles, with His words creating miracles; and the miracles of our time too: two seas let loose upon one another with a barrier in between, mixing with one another. Like fresh water and salt water not mixing with one another.
Allah Almighty, who shows us these miracles, set up the lunar system in the sky and the months; does this person think He made this order by chance, that it came about by chance? The Allah who created these, who set up this order, who has such power: if you oppose Allah, if you oppose Him, did you think you were left to roam free? Tomorrow, on the Day of Judgement, what answer will you give in the presence of your Lord? There is no going back again. That is, when you say, my Lord, send me back once more, look how I will worship You, and He says: Even if We sent you back not once but several more times, you would do the same thing again; according to that verse, since the opportunity of a lifetime and these means have all slipped from your hands, in a world with no going back, subject to that eternal torment, what will you do when you remain there?
How will you be saved? It is not even possible. So gather your wits. Gather your wits. Your owner, to you, your owner, your owner; if only we were His slaves. He does not even accept us as slaves. He takes us as those He addresses. How much Allah Almighty values you. If only we were His slaves.
In that case, how do you turn your back on that owner of yours? You eat, you drink, you live in health, you enjoy yourself; you receive so many blessings, yet you do not give thanks and say, my Lord, all praise and glory be to You. You are ungrateful. Yes. These are very painful things.
Yes.
What do we say? Will you be able to escape appearing in His presence? So then, so then, is it worth, while living this transient world, in order to satisfy a moment's pleasure of your self, buying torment in place of the abode of eternal bliss? Is it worth it?
Therefore Allah Almighty, in His Holy Quran, with many verses: O people! I will call you to account because you did not use your reason. O people! Do you never reflect? Do you never think? With His verses He constantly warns people. Yes. Allah Almighty constantly warns people.
Which mind, taking refuge in which power and strength, which mind, taking refuge in which power and strength, distances itself from Allah? This mind, such a mind is not called a mind. Reason is using your reason, being with the truths. Yes, a person may unknowingly turn to what is crooked, thinking I know what is right. But then, when he sees what is right, he must immediately abide by it. Even if knowledge is in China, go and get it. According to the hadith: even if knowledge is in China, go and get it. Knowledge is an honour, because in the Holy Quran. Even if knowledge is in China, it is an honour, says Allah Almighty.
But, it says, but if they did not find the truth with that knowledge, all the work they did has gone to waste, it says. It has gone to waste. Yes. Finding the truth with knowledge, turning to the truth, guiding people, holding a light before them, in technology and the civilised age, with steps forward, finding knowledge as far as Allah permits, and as a strong state (?), making the religion of Islam heard everywhere, like the Ottomans. Yes.
Which mind, taking refuge in which power and strength, distances itself from Allah?
Again I say, O people, as Allah Almighty decrees in this verse I wrote: Your Lord is the possessor of vast mercy. Vast.
If we repent with remorse for the sins we committed in the time of ignorance and the partners we associated with Allah, if we do not, deceived by the world's few transient blessings, speak Allah's verses by having them sold to people, we will attain Allah's mercy. If, for a small benefit of the world, by having these sold, those who speak lead in unbelief, buying Allah's Hell and its constant torment, we will have dragged ourselves to destruction. Yes.
Reflect much and use your reason. According to the verse every soul will taste death, remember death often so that your heart stays alive. Yes, if we remember death often, a person's heart stays alive, alive. Because with every death, if a person reflects, how will I go to the presence of my Lord, and how will I answer in His presence with these deeds of mine, if we (?) to reflection, he tries not to do anything he will regret later. Yes.
