Say; “Bring your witnesses who will bear witness that Allah forbade these”. If they bear witness, do not bear witness with them. Do not follow the desires of those who deny Our verses and who don’t believe in the hereafter. They associate partners with Allah.
Tafsir
Say to those who forbid what Allah has made lawful for them by their own invention, which Allah has not forbidden: Bring your witnesses to testify that Allah has forbidden you this. If these people, without fear of Allah, bring witnesses who are in the darkness of shirk and disbelief like themselves, and they testify that what Allah has made lawful is unlawful, then do not bear witness with them.
(Do not follow the desires of those who deny Our signs and do not believe in the Last Day). The address here is to the believers; O you who believe! Do not compromise on the Verses of Allah, lest the life of this world appear attractive to you, and you compromise on the Verses of Allah out of fear of people, or because you are deceived by the sweet and gilded words of the disbelievers. For whoever follows them, they are like them. Then you will have exchanged the life of this world for the Hereafter. If these people were in a position to govern themselves, would they seek help from the idols created by Allah, would they rely on people to obtain the blessings of the world, would they forget Allah, would they forget Allah, would they mindlessly take their place with those who need idols? Would they turn their faces away from Allah? So, O you who believe! Keep your distance from them. Do not believe them. For all that they say is a lie and for their own benefit. Then they will lead you astray. Because they associate partners with their Lord.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-An'am, verse 150. Say: "Allah forbade this" — bring your witnesses who will testify to that.
That is,
apart from what Allah Almighty forbade — carrion, blood, pork, uh, animals slaughtered in a name other than Allah's, slaughtered for other than Allah's name, apart from not eating animals torn apart by a beast of prey, some animals, (?), uh, single-hoofed animals that don't chew the cud, uh, even if they chew the cud, that eating them is (?), uh, there is also not eating some (?) animals. In this case, apart from these of Allah Almighty, your own inventions, that is, if it comes out of the animal's belly dead, we'll all eat it together. If it comes out alive, only the men will eat it, and so on.
For their inventions, do they have any proof in their hands, He says. Bring your witnesses who will testify, He says. Well then, bring your witnesses who will testify that Allah forbade this. That is, against what I did not forbid, if you have witnesses that Allah forbade this, bring those witnesses, He says. Or if he has proof, bring such proof, He says. If they testify, do not testify along with them, He says. Look how beautiful.
Now, from that group of idolaters, falsely, testifying for them, "Yes, I am a witness," one says. False. Uh, in this case Allah Almighty says they are liars anyway, they are disbelievers. They are lying disbelievers. Do not testify along with them, He says.
Let them amuse themselves in the world for the world's few hours of pleasure, let them be, He says. Their return is to Us. We will seize them, He says. Yes. Do not follow the desires of those who deny Our verses and do not believe in the Day of the Hereafter. Do not follow what they say. They set up equals to their Lord — their Lord, to their Lord. Whom? The idols in their imagination, or their lords, those other than Allah.
Yes, to those who, though Allah Almighty did not forbid it, by what they themselves invented, for themselves forbid what Allah made lawful, say:
Bring your witnesses who will testify that Allah forbade this to you. If these people, without fearing Allah, find witnesses like themselves, in the darkness of shirk, in kufr, and bring them, and these testify for them that what Allah made lawful is forbidden, do not testify along with (?), He says. Because in the verse He says they are lying disbelievers. Do not be with those liars. Because, since they do not fear Allah and His Messenger, do not fear, deifying their own nafs, in the world they commit every vice and violence, filth, and tell every kind of lie. But We will soon rub their noses in it, He says.
Their noses. His saying "soon": if a thousand years of the world are like one day of the hereafter, and the world has a lifespan of a hundred and seven years, it has a life of a few hours. A few hours, not even a day. Believe me, not even a day. It has a life of a few hours. Compared to the hereafter. Surely We will rub their noses in it, He says. We will rub them in it. Yes.
Do not follow the desires of those who deny Our verses and do not believe in the Day of the Hereafter. The address here is to the believers. The Prophet in any case has no (?). You know, like "Daughter-in-law, I'm telling you; daughter, I'm telling you; daughter-in-law, you understand." Allah Almighty, in spoken language, to no one says "you do this, you do that." Since He addresses His Beloved, it is as if telling him, but actually telling all mankind. To mankind. But those who know their Lord, those who believe and those who don't, among them those who do not fulfill Allah's command are separated, of course.
These are separated. Those who fulfill Allah's command and those who don't — in this case, through people's own deeds, toward Allah Almighty their own crimes, as witness, come to light. Yes.
O you who believe! The life of the world appears attractive to you. Fearing people, or deceived by the sweet and gilded words of the deniers, never compromise on Allah's verses, we say. Never. No compromise is made on Allah's verses.
If there is anyone most to be feared, He says, it is Me. If there is anyone most to be loved, it is Me too, He says. So how long can people's tormenting you, grinding you between two millstones, last? In the end this world will end. Whether with torment or with pleasure. It will end. But in the hereafter neither its torment and suffering will end, nor will its pleasure end. So he endures torment and pleasure here. Those taghuts, and Satan who roams in man's (?) blood vessels — he pays no heed to the temptations Satan gives him. He doesn't fear or shy away from those two-legged taghuts. If he doesn't compromise on Allah's verses, that person enters among the sultans of the hereafter.
Yes.
What
are we saying? O you who believe! The life of the world appears attractive to you. Fearing people, or deceived by the sweet and gilded words of the deniers, on Allah's verses never compromise. Because whoever follows them is like them. Then you will have exchanged the life of the world with the hereafter. If these people were in a position to govern themselves — who? — idolaters, non-Muslims, people who would keep others from Allah's path. Yes, themselves, we say. If they were in a position to govern, would they seek help from idols Allah created, lean on people to obtain worldly blessings, forget Allah, senselessly take their places beside those who are in need of Allah?
If these were in a position to govern themselves.
Would they seek help from idols? From idols. Would they seek help from what Allah created? And people who forget Allah Almighty, who offers so many blessings, and for the world's pleasure benefit from those taghuts — people who, instead of doing what Allah says, sell Allah's word in return for the world and do what the taghuts say — were they, I wonder, using their reason, in a state to be (?) to themselves? Yes.
To other than Allah, their faces would they turn? So, you who believe: Keep yourselves clear of them. Don't believe them. Because what they say is all lies and for their benefit. For their own benefit. Sometimes it's shown in films too, on television, they always talk on the basis of lies. When their truthfulness is true, they accept him as a very great person. When he tells the truth. And sometimes he says, look, what you said is true. "Which of what you said?" he says, "it was true anyway," he says. These, to each other, very nicely — Allah makes them say it. Yes.
So, O you who believe, keep clear of them, don't believe them. Because what they say is all lies and for their benefit. Then they will lead you astray too. Because they associate partners with their Lord. Yes. Then you too will be deceived by this transient worldly life. Once it pulls you into the swamp of the world, you can't easily get out of that swamp again. In the swamp you (?). When one dives in, a person sinks into the swamp. The more he struggles, the more he sinks. The more he struggles, the more he sinks. It is not possible for him to get out either. Because the swamp keeps pulling him.
The world is just like this. Once you've sunk in there, you get out with difficulty. Only if someone comes and stretches out his hand to you, and if it is in your destiny too to grab his hand, then you find life. Yes.
