Translation

(Those servants) they say, “Oh our Dear Lord! Grant onto us spouses and offspring that will enlighten our eyes and make us leaders to the muttaqi (righteous).”

Tafsir

Again, these believers make supplication to Allah (swt). They say, 'Our Lord, grant us good wives. If a man's wife is meek and righteous, she will help him in his acts of worship towards Allah (swt). She does not lead her man into sin and encourages him in his acts of worship.

His intention in saying, "Give us good descendants" is that because they love Allah so much, they ask Allah (swt) for those of their descendants who will keep the religion of Islam alive and serve this religion, according to the Verse of Allah (you help the religion of Allah). The people from his descendants who keep the religion of Islam alive will be rewarded with degrees in the sight of Allah. They themselves wish to be leaders of those who live the religion of Islam and adorn themselves with piety. That is, they seek good knowledge from Allah. Whoever Allah has given knowledge is honorable. Because Allah's knowledge is honorable. In this respect, when they guide people, become leaders for the pious, and keep the religion of Allah alive, these people will be pleasing to Allah.

What is said in the video

And those servants: Our Lord, grant us spouses and offspring who will be the delight of our eyes, and make us leaders of the God-fearing, they say. Yes, verse 74. What does it say? And those servants: Our Lord, grant us, as the delight of our eyes, spouses, righteous wives, and offspring, and make us leaders of the God-fearing, they say. Make us leaders of the God-fearing. You are to be God-fearing and also lead the God-fearing. They pray for both. Again, these believing servants entreat Allah Almighty. Our Lord, grant us good wives, they say. Why? A bad person (?) from a person's worship, they say.

But a righteous woman, if her husband's prayer time is passing, says: Husband, the prayer time is passing, and reminds him of his prayer. Well, at home, when he comes home tired, she welcomes him gladly. At night, if her husband gets up for tahajjud, if she has woken up: Husband, your time to get up has come, get up for your prayer, she says, and he gets up and they pray together. How beautiful. This is a righteous woman. Well, again these believing servants entreat Allah Almighty. Our Lord, grant us good wives, they say. A person's wife being gentle and righteous, in the acts of worship he performs toward Allah Almighty, ensures that she helps him.

She does not lead her man into sin, and she encourages her man in the worship he performs.

Their intention in saying "grant us good offspring" is that, because they love Allah very much, according to the verse of Allah Almighty "Help the religion of Allah", from their own offspring, those who will keep the religion of Islam alive and serve this religion, they ask of Allah Almighty.

Because the people coming from their offspring keep the religion of Islam alive, in Allah's presence they attain their ranks, ranks. They themselves also want to be leaders to those who live the religion of Islam and are adorned with piety. That is, they ask Allah for beautiful knowledge. Whomever Allah has given knowledge, he is honoured.

That is, they ask Allah for beautiful knowledge. Whomever Allah has given knowledge, he is honoured. Because Allah's knowledge is honourable.

For this reason he guides people and becomes a leader to the God-fearing. When they keep Allah's religion alive, these people will have earned Allah's pleasure. Yes.
