Translation

We will surely question those to whom We have sent Prophets, and the Prophets that were sent.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) declares that all of His creatures will be called to account and that the Day of Reckoning is true. On the Day of Judgment, on the Day of Reckoning, Allah (swt) will call His Prophets and say, "Did you tell these people about the evil deeds of their people, about their associating shirk with Allah, about their acting outside the command of Allah? And the Prophets will say, "Glory be to You. They will say, "You know that we have transmitted your orders. You know everything in the best way.

Allah (swt) will then ask the people of the Prophets, "Did not a Prophet come to you, a warner and a warner, and inform you of the existence of this day? He will ask them. They will say, "Yes, they warned us, but we committed injustice against our souls. Allah will say, "So taste this torment.

With this verse, Allah (swt) says that after all souls taste death, there is no human being who will not be questioned in the Hereafter. Surely every soul will be recompensed in full for what it has done.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-A'raf, verse 6 Surely We will question both those to whom prophets were sent and the prophets sent without fail, it says. Both those to whom a prophet was sent — that is, us, those before us — and also the prophets We will question, it says. Well, now, doesn't Allah Almighty know what the prophets did? He knows. Why does He question them? Everything will be perfect. With witnesses, with proofs, everything perfect. No one will blame anyone. Because no one can find any shortcoming in Allah either. Things like: if only Allah Almighty had done this this way, that would have turned out that way.

Without leaving any opening (?) at all, everything perfectly He will carry out. Even Jesus, what does he say? Did you say: my mother is a deity and I am Allah's son? Never, he says. You know me better than I know myself, he says. I would never do such a thing, he says. Well, in this case, if Jesus says so, and Allah Almighty knows, He will call all the prophets to account. And in that case He will call all their communities to account too. If the prophets conveyed perfectly the duties Allah ordered them to Allah's servants — and Allah is witness to this, people are witness — if they conveyed it, then before these witnesses, everything being by their own consent, when people face the punishment or favours they are to receive, no one will be able to blame anyone.

Yes. Surely those to whom prophets were sent, and the sent prophets too, We will question without fail, it says. Allah Almighty declares that all the people He created will be called to account. All of them. From our father Adam until the Last Day, every living being that has come will be called to account. Ah, something like this may come to mind. Will children also be called to account? Will the miscarried also be called to account? These have no account anyway. They have no account. Those who did those deeds have an account. They will face the reckoning. Yes. Because before the age of maturity Allah Almighty does not record reward and sin.

After maturity. Is it the same for non-Muslims? Yes. For non-Muslims it is the same.

For non-Muslims it is the same. Well, their children too, since they have not reached maturity, pass on to the hereafter upon the fitra of Islam. Surely those to whom prophets were sent, with those, and the prophets sent too, He made known He would question without fail. Allah Almighty, by declaring that all the people He created will be called to account, makes known that the Day of Reckoning is real. The Day of Reckoning is real. Because at that Supreme Court (?) the judge, the Judge of judges. That day, it says, the judgment is Mine alone, it says. That is, on the Last Day, the Day of Reckoning, Allah Almighty will call His prophets and, about the evils their peoples committed, their associating partners with Allah, their acting outside Allah's command, say: was it you who told these people this?

Was it you who told them? Doesn't Allah Almighty know? He knows. Even though He knows — as I just said, everything perfect, with witnesses, with the dirty deeds they did, with those books being given to them: woe, today, it says, everything big and small has been written and laid out here, it says. Although He knows all of it, together with witnesses. The prophets will say: God forbid, we glorify You. You too know that we conveyed Your commands exactly. You are the One who knows everything best, they will say. they will say. You are the One who knows best, they will say. Yes. Then Allah Almighty, to the prophets' peoples: did not a warning and fear-inspiring prophet come to you and inform you of the existence of this day?

Yes. Of the existence of this day, that the Last Day would come, that you would be called to account at the Supreme Court, and: did you think yourselves left without purpose in the world? When you were not carrying out Allah's commands, did they not make these known to you, these realms? They did. They did, they will say. Yes.

What does it say? The evils the peoples committed, their associating partners with Allah, their acting outside Allah's command — was it you who told these people, He will say. And the prophets: God forbid, we glorify You, You too know that we conveyed Your commands exactly. You are the One who knows everything best, they will say. Then Allah Almighty will ask the prophets' peoples: did not a warning and fear-inspiring prophet come to you and inform you of the existence of this day? And they: yes, they warned us. Yes, they warned us. We wronged our own selves, they will say. And Allah Almighty will say: then taste this punishment.

Taste it. So with this verse Allah Almighty: after all souls have tasted death, there is no person who will not be questioned in the hereafter. Surely every soul will see the recompense of what it did in full. Now, how good are the questions our son Abdülkadir asked. He asked, you know — these questions more or less all lead there. What does it say? So with this verse Allah Almighty: all souls will taste death. After tasting it, there is no person who is not (?). Let's start from the one above. Did not a warning and fear-inspiring prophet come and inform you of the existence of this day? He will ask.

And they: yes, they warned us. We wronged our own selves, they will say. Against their own selves. Why do they not lie? Why can't they? Actually, they would lie, all right. There's the verse 'when the souls are paired', you know. So what will happen according to this verse? The soul and the body will come face to face. And what does Allah Almighty say? (?) We silence your mouths, bind your feet and make your hands speak, it says. Therefore there is a witness in me, and that witness is this body of mine. Even if I went seven layers beneath the earth, left the world and went to the remotest corner, this body of mine that will bear witness about me is not far from me.

That's why, while that body, that body bears witness, look what the soul says. Why are you bearing witness against me? And it says: the One who makes me speak, Allah makes me speak. In that case, if the soul had, as in the world, entered into this body, it would have made the body lie in its favour. So, those who cannot even grasp the verse 'when the souls are paired', those who say a woman and a man came face to face, those who know nothing of this are just saying made-up things. Far from the truth of the matter. So, after the testimony ends, (?) you are returned to the One who first created, it says.

And it dies there a second time. The body. The body created from earth becomes earth. In that case. So the verse 'when the souls are paired' is important. And at the same time, let a person not think that he is alone. There is a witness in him constantly, in him, that witness being such that it will bear witness about him.

Yes. The smallest. Big and small. It is both written down by the noble scribes (Kiraman Katibin), and the body, just as it is, will come as a witness to him. A person must think deeply according to these verses, according to these things. So man is not single. People say 'pair', you know, they say 'created as a pair', but the meaning of that 'created as a pair' they don't even know. They say it, they sleepwalk. He says it but does not know the meaning of that paired creation. He thinks people resemble one another. Even twins born from one mother, however much they resemble each other, still have their differences. When he says man is a pair: the soul and the body, exact replicas of each other, with receiving and transmitting frequencies, in the hereafter, as the body is resurrected, immediately those souls together with the bodies — according to the verse 'when you come into My presence with a driver' — find each other.
