Translation

And those, whose scales weigh less, they are the ones who have driven themselves to a loss because they were unjust towards Our verses.

Tafsir

Whoever has disobeyed the commands and prohibitions of Allah in this world, these people have disbelieved in the darkness of shirk and have disobeyed the Verses of Allah, and their rewards are light in comparison to their sins, so they will suffer punishment and pity themselves.

When he realizes on the Day of Judgment that Allah's Word is true, he will be transferred to a realm from which he will never return. If this person is a Muslim and a sinner, if his good deeds are light compared to his sins, he will enter Hell, and after he has served his punishment and his soul is satisfied, he will come out of Hell. If he disbelieved in Allah and the Hereafter, if he ascribed partners to Allah and went to the Hereafter as a disbeliever, he will remain in Hell for eternity. He will never get out of there again. May Allah protect the Ummah of Muhammad from this fate, and may He guide other people to reform and find the truth.

Surah Al-A'raf, verse 9, the noble verse:

And those whose scales are light, they are the ones who, because they were unjust towards our verses, have brought loss upon themselves. See how beautifully it says it: they have brought loss upon themselves. Some verses have been interpreted very correctly. Here, with man's own use of his partial will, with the decisions he makes by his own will, what does it say? Those who bring loss upon themselves. Because Allah wills injustice for no one. Yes. Now, if in this worldly realm one opposed the commands and prohibitions of Allah Almighty, saying "they opposed our verses" means: the words Allah Almighty made known in the rulings of the sharia, by not fulfilling those rulings, taking Allah lightly, turning their backs on the verses, turning their backs on those laws, living by their own carnal feelings, by Satan's temptation, by two-legged false gods (taghut) leading them, these people drive their own souls into wrongdoing.

Yes. And whoever in this world, in the worldly realm, opposed the commands and prohibitions of Allah Almighty, since these people, with the kufr they committed in the darkness of shirk, opposed Allah's verses, since their good deeds are light against their sins, they, they too, ending up subjected to punishment, wrong themselves. Yes. These people: every soul will be called to account for what its two hands have earned.

When on the Day of Judgment, on that Day of Reckoning, he understands that Allah Almighty's word is the truth, he has already passed into a world from which there is no return. What are we saying? When on the Day of Judgment, on that Day of Reckoning, he understands that Allah Almighty's word is the truth, that is, the people who say "will we be brought to life again?", when they are brought to life in the hereafter, will say: alas, the prophets told the truth, resurrection was true. Yes. In this case, when on the Day of Judgment, on that Day of Reckoning, he understands, he has already passed into a world with no (?).

Now there is no (?) anymore. He came to his senses, but his coming to his senses brings him no benefit at all. So here this meaning comes out: the human lifetime in this world is a treasure not easily come by. Yes, a treasure not easily come by. If he uses this lifetime well, with good deeds, by removing worldly attachments (masiva) from his heart, by holding not suspicion but good opinion of people, by surrendering to Allah, in his prayer, his fasting, his zakat, his hajj, according to his circumstances of course, if he lives so and does as much good as he can, these people will surely attain the mercy of Allah Almighty.

They make both worlds flourish. Peace in this world, and in the hereafter what our Lord has promised: gardens beneath which rivers flow, they will attain.

Yes.

When on the Day of Judgment, on that Day of Reckoning, he understands that Allah Almighty's word is the truth, he has already passed into a world from which there is no return. If this person is a Muslim and a sinner, if he is a Muslim and a sinner, if his good deeds came out light compared to his sins, he will enter hell. After serving his punishment, after becoming a soul at peace (nafs al-mutmainna), he will come out of hell. He has that important light, he has the light of Islam. When he suffers torment in hell, those disbelievers will say, "You were a Muslim, why did you come here?" He will say, "I was no different from you." "This torment is even too little for me," he will say, too little.

"Because I did not listen to my Lord's commands." It is the light of faith that makes that Muslim say this. And Allah Almighty says: O My servant, let your faith reach perfection and come out of there. He takes him out of there. But the other one, because he has no light of faith, as long as that person stays there, his hatred towards Allah Almighty grows. And as his hatred grows, he stays there forever, you see. The difference between a Muslim entering hell and a disbeliever entering hell. One will come out of there, the other will stay there forever. If, not believing in Allah and the hereafter, associating partners with Allah, he passed on to the hereafter like that, that is, if he went as a disbeliever, he will stay in hell forever.

Nor will he ever come out of there again. May Allah now protect the ummah of Muhammad from this end, and by reforming other people too grant them to find the truth. That is, by reforming non-Muslims too, I mean, may He grant them to find the truth, we said.
