Allah said; “If so, step down from there! It is not your right to be arrogant therein. Get out! Because, you are among the despicable ones!”

Tafsir

Upon these words Allah says to Iblis (Get down from there, it is not your place to be arrogant there). Allah's saying "Get down from there" was a high position given to him in return for his worship of Allah (swt), as he was the teacher of the angels. His saying 'Get down from there' was a humiliation and a removal from a high position. Why did Allah give Satan the mentorship of the angels, even though He knew that he would defy Him?

Allah is the Owner of justice. Before Iblis became the teacher of the angels, he performed many acts of worship towards Allah. There is not an inch of earth on earth that he did not prostrate his forehead to Allah. For this reason he was named Haris. Haris means a miser of worship. The angels envied him for this. They asked Allah (swt) to show this servant to them. Allah has placed Iblis as a teacher at the head of the angels.

Because Allah is just, He raised Iblis in return for his worship. But when he disobeyed Allah, he was expelled from Allah's presence. Are there not such people among human beings? You know that a person pursues good deeds and earns many rewards in the sight of Allah. But in the end he regrets it and starts to live in rebellion against Allah, the opposite of what he did. We see the actions of the demon on people as well. Most of the good deeds that people do are diminished because of their regret. Allah (swt) wants to keep people on the path of Allah (swt) and the straight and narrow path by giving examples to people. In this way, He wills that people's degrees will not be lost.

(Get down from there, it is not your place to be arrogant there). Since Allah has created the worlds in a state of order and regularity, He attaches great importance to manners and etiquette. Whoever disregards manners and etiquette is in the position of an angel. Because he has misbehaved against Allah. He has not listened to Allah's command. Therefore, Allah commands respect and obedience to the elders. Those who deviate from this, follow the path of the evil one.

This is Allah's way of saying to the demon that your behavior is unworthy of that station, that We have allocated these stations to you in response to your previous behavior, that We have declared to the demon and to the worlds that those who obey Allah are not wronged one iota, and now you have behaved in a manner unworthy of that station, you have rebelled against your Lord, get down from there, and He will remove him from that station and humiliate him.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-A'raf, noble verse 13. Allah says: so then, get down from there. That is, get down from the station I gave you. Something like this may come to your mind. Didn't Allah know he would be expelled? Then why did He bring him to a station he was not worthy of? Why did He bring him there? These parts are important. Perhaps it won't occur to you, but it does occur to some. Allah Almighty knew. Allah Almighty had the attribute of justice. He would surely raise him in rank in return for what he had done. But that he would be expelled, would be accursed, and, by not prostrating to Adam, with his logic game, thought he would confound Allah; his helplessness in that station, his helplessness and how he is an enemy to man, in order to show it, (?) here personally.

How beautiful. How beautifully Allah Almighty shows man. O son of man, look, in return for what he did I brought him this far. And I know he will be accursed, he will be cursed. But you watch too, look, he will never turn toward you. He will not do you even an atom's worth of good. And he is your mortal enemy. He will try to keep you from coming to Me, from the promised gardens. He will strip you, make you stark naked. O children of Adam, listen to My verses, Allah Almighty says. How beautifully He says it. Yes. Now, by man being ruled by Allah's command or not being ruled by it, by inclining to Satan or not inclining, how beautifully people are divided into groups in the light of the verses.

How much Allah loves people and what beautiful ways He shows people, openly, with every noble verse, that there is no friend other than Him, and that besides Allah (?) is not found, and finally, however much oppression you suffer in these worlds, that it will come to an end, but that Allah will not go back on His word, His promise; that if I went to Him obedient, He will give you an eternal abode of bliss: how beautifully He says it. Yes.

What does it say? Allah: so get down from there. It is not your place to act big there. Yes. There, your acting big is not your place, get out, He says to him, because you are among the lowly, He decreed, you are among the lowly. Yes, upon these words Allah says to Iblis: get down from there, there it is not your place to act big. Allah Almighty's saying "from there": since he was the teacher of the angels, it is a high station given in return for the worship he did for Allah Almighty. His saying "from there" is his being taken from the high station and humiliated. Why, although Allah knew Iblis would oppose Him, did He give him the teaching of the angels, we said.

Let's see what we said here. How did it come here? Let's explain that. Allah Almighty is the Owner of justice. Iblis, before being the angels' teacher, engaged in much worship of Allah. There is not a span of soil on earth where his forehead has not come in prostration to the Rahman. For this reason he took the name Haris. The meaning of Haris is a miser of worship. The angels, envious of this state of his, wished Allah Almighty to show them this servant of His. And Allah placed Iblis at the head of the angels as their teacher. Since Allah is the Owner of justice, in return for the worship he did, Iblis He raised. But when he opposed Allah, from Allah's presence he was expelled. Aren't there such people among humans too?

You too know that a person runs after good deeds, in Allah's sight earns many rewards, but in the end feels regret, and, the opposite of what he did, as a rebel against Allah he begins to live. So the actions Iblis did, in people we see. Of the good deeds people have done, much of the reward is diminished because of their regret. By telling these, giving examples to people, Allah Almighty wants to keep people toward Allah and constantly on the straight path. In this way He wills that people's ranks be lost, not be lost. Yes, here, in a way we would understand from outward (?), we have explained it.

Sir, every person has some good deed he did. Allah Almighty, for the good he did, gives three for one, five for one, seven for one, a hundred for one in reward. But if the person then, with his regrets, regrets what he did, one reward remains of what he did, the others he has given to (?). That is, with the sins he earned, they have gone from there. Get down from there; it is not your place to act big there, He decrees. Because Allah created the worlds in order and harmony, He gives great importance to manners and propriety. Whoever gives no importance to manners and propriety falls into the state of the accursed one.

Manners and propriety are above the creation of these worlds in order and harmony.

Allah Almighty created these worlds with His knowledge.

Their order and harmony, that is, their unity and togetherness, He created, with their order and harmony. He created manners and propriety, that is, with His verses, people's being respectful toward each other, being just, not overstepping limits, not behaving shamelessly, and, since He created man honored above the worlds, living in a dignity befitting his honor: this He willed. If people had had no manners and propriety, the creation of the worlds would have had no purpose.

Is there a verse, Hodja? There is.

The destruction of those who overstep the limits is the proof of this. Of those who overstep the limits, who overstep Allah's bounds, the destruction is the proof of what I am saying. Manners and propriety, above all. Ahmad ar-Rifa'i says, at the head of his dergah: "Edeb yahu." Manners. Manners above all. Manners above all. Yes, how far shamelessness has gone, how people go against their elders, against their scholars, and how they both try to degenerate Allah's religion and how they demean themselves, we see from some people behaving shamelessly. If those people had been well-mannered, even if they had not interpreted,

they would have learned what they were to learn better. Not in shamelessness, but in good manners. And if the one teaching teaches wrongly, within manners, within manners, there was warning him with such fine verses as an option. That is manners. But if shamelessness is committed, if slanders are made against those who tell the truth, both one goes outside manners toward Allah's religion, and toward that person, toward the people explaining Allah's verses, one goes into shamelessness. This is among the manners and propriety frowned upon in the religion of Islam, that is, among Allah's sharia rulings.

That's why we do not fall short in respect for our elders. We do not fall short in respect for those who have rights over us. That is, toward our teachers, and first of all toward our mothers and fathers, toward those who have rights over us, we do not fall short in respect. So if we are to live the religion of Islam, fulfilling Allah's commands, we must live within manners and propriety. If we overstep these manners and propriety, then we recognize neither the right of mother and father, nor the right of neighbors, nor the right of friends and companions; making our own nafs a god, following our own mind, in carnal feelings, as Satan's plaything, in the swamp of the world we perish and are gone.

So: manners above all, yahu, manners. Manners above all, manners above all. Yes.
