Al-A'raf 21: And he swore to them, saying; “Truly, I am giving advice to you.”

Surah Al-A'raf, verse 21.

And he swore to them: I am truly one of your sincere advisers, it says. I am truly one of your sincere advisers. He swears, of course. And he swore to them: I am truly one of your sincere advisers. The accursed one. He swears.

For the accursed one, one amusement of his heart is swearing oaths, he says. My heart's amusement is my swearing, he says. Because swearing by Allah, since He granted it to him, comes to him as an amusement. Yes. Swearing by Allah is my heart's amusement, says the accursed one. To Adam and to our mother Eve, to our mother, he also swore: I am telling the truth. The accursed one's oath is his heart's amusement. That is what we say here. It is his heart's amusement. Because he has no wish left from Allah. He has no wish left at all. What does Allah Almighty say in His verse anyway? Only the unbelievers lose hope in Allah, He says.

And this one has been expelled and cursed. He no longer has any hope in Allah. Such character traits have been placed in him. When the Prophet spoke with the accursed one, he said: O Abu Murra, come, he said, at the grave of our father Adam, make one prostration, he said. And I, he said, will pray to Allah Almighty for your forgiveness, he said. He says the following to the Prophet: I swear by Allah, who made you the preacher of Paradise and me the preacher of Hell, he says, I did not prostrate to him alive, so why would I prostrate to him dead, he says.

He is content to enter Hell. Content with that punishment. Yes. Look at that character, that ego, look at that pride, that arrogance.

Because he has no wish left from Allah. He belongs to the people of Hell forever. Therefore the accursed one's oath by Allah is nothing but an amusement. Therefore he tempts as he likes, swears as he likes, and as he likes tries to drive people into distress with his whisperings. The accursed one. O people! Do not turn your back on Allah, deceived by the accursed one.

Here, everything is clear and plain. And Allah, how He speaks to people through His verses. Through His verses. We really are speaking, I mean. Look! Isn't He speaking about us? And we speak to each other like this. If we can understand the verses, of course, and in our faith long for our Lord, we truly speak with Him. Be it Satan before us, be it the Prophet (peace be upon him) or our Lord, with His verses like this, what state those people are in, and in good and bad, how Allah Almighty guides us, by speaking with His verses we understand. Yes, here everything is clear and plain. And Allah, how He speaks to people through His verses, how He declares His existence to people. Turn to yourself, reflect, be with Allah so that you may find salvation. Here, all of Satan's traits are out in the open.

Would a person still fall for him, still follow him? Does a person make friends with his enemy? Doesn't a person who trusts his enemy come to ruin? When he finds the chance, won't your enemy take your life? Here is such an enemy that he will not take a person's life. If only he took his life, so that one were freed by death. He will leave him exposed to the eternal torment of a world without death. So, for a little passing worldly benefit, benefit and amusement, in your eternal life do not wrong yourself. Do not follow Iblis and befriend your enemy. Iblis gives man every kind of temptation and whispering.

Strengthen your faith. Let your character, by your faith, be strengthened, so that you hold on to your will. People defeated by their will run after every kind of evil and are degraded. Shunned among people, they fall into complexes. Allah created people honourable. This honour and dignity, human dignity, only with your faith can you preserve. Yes. Only with faith is human dignity preserved.
