Al-A'raf 24: (Allah) said; “Descend from there as enemies to each other. There is dwelling and benefit for you on earth until some time.”

To verse 24 of Surah Al-A'raf we have come.

Allah: Go down as enemies to one another.

Yes, may Allah be pleased with you, it says. Now here, in the first verses of this passage, Allah Almighty says: Go down as enemies to one another. So did He (?) us? He creates us as enemies to one another. In the realm of Lahut, at that address Alastu bi-Rabbikum, in the realm of Lahut, our souls were created, and at that address Alastu bi-Rabbikum, when He said 'I am your Lord', there those who knew and those who did not, those divided into three classes, and so everyone's own destiny — since what one wished became one's destiny — since one's own desire and wish, one's own will, became one's destiny, our Lord knows this.

So now go down from there. That is, leave Paradise. Go to the world. Go down as enemies to one another, He says. Enemies to one another. Because the people of Hell will be enemies to the people of Paradise. Today, aren't non-Muslims enemies of Islam? However friendly they may look toward Islam, they are enemies of Islam. In this case, look at the European Union.

In its own laws it says this: No Muslim state can join the European Union.

Even though the European Union needs Turkey — it needs Turkey. Breaking their own laws, because Turkey is Muslim, although they admit states more backward than Turkey into the European Union, they (?) Turkey into the European Union. And Allah Almighty protects us, that is why we don't get in. He protects the Muslims. Because He says, do not cooperate with them, do not befriend them, He says. Yes, we are actually being protected. By their making those laws, the Muslims are protected. If we could go there directly, I mean, if we could come and go without a visa, today many of our people might perhaps be taken in by that world — and there are those who are taken in, there are — perhaps things would go off course more quickly.

Since these worlds run within Allah Almighty's program, these things are delayed, delayed. One day it will surely get in — when? When concessions are made from the religion of Islam. But hopefully it won't get in. That is our intention anyway; hopefully it won't. Now, some of our people living in Germany, when they came to our talk, said this to me: Hodja, he said, you say, he says, 'kafir' — why do you say 'kafir', he says, 'kafir'. When he said that, I didn't say anything yet.

Yes.

I said to him your intention has become clear.

You are a Muslim, aren't you? I said. I am a Muslim, he said. I am a Muslim.

Don't call a kafir a kafir, he said. You can't, he said.

I said to him: Do you believe in the word of Allah? Well, of course I believe, he said. But you are unaware of the word of Allah, I said. Don't be angry with me, I said. You are unaware of the word of Allah. I am speaking from the word of Allah, I said.

As if Allah calls a kafir a kafir? he said. So it is. Yes, I said. Look what He says. What does He say in Surah Ya-Sin, look.

(?) and so that the disbelievers deserve the punishment (?), it says. So that the disbelievers deserve the punishment (?). Now, I said, as a Muslim, if I call kafir the one Allah calls kafir, do I become a sinner? I said. Or, by saying you cannot call kafir the one Allah calls kafir, you are going against Allah's verse, you said — or do you fall into sin? I said. The man got up and left. He ran off. He couldn't stay. He ran off. Yes, in this case people come down to one another, to the earth, as enemies like this, they come down. Who are the enemies? The disbelievers are enemies to the Muslims.

Yes, and Allah Almighty indeed: Go down as enemies to one another. For you there is on earth a dwelling and enjoyment for a time, He said, it says. Again, in a verse, Allah Almighty you, He says, when you wage war, when you prevail, He says, bind them tightly, He says. Tightly. If they prevail, He says, they will recognize no right or law over you, He says. If they prevail. So, He says, you too, He says, bind the matter tightly. When they start to lose, He says, they immediately invite you to the table, He says, to the table they invite you. And isn't that how it happens? That's how it is. Right away to the table, to the table.

If they win, there is no table. No table — for them it's the law of the jungle. They are strong, after all. If the Muslims are strong, then at once: please, please, come to the table. And there too they try to deceive. That is why He says, bind tightly. Hold your affairs tightly. How beautifully Allah Almighty speaks; with all the verses He shines a light before us.

Allah: Go down as enemies to one another; for you there is on earth a dwelling and enjoyment for a time, He said. On this earth, in a realm where our Lord is not seen, starting from zero, in this realm, Allah Almighty not writing reward or sin for a person until maturity; after maturity, deciding by their own will and attaining that reward and sin, continuing their life according to the characters in their wish, and proving what kind of person they are. Allah, who knew beforehand that all these events would happen, within a program has people and Satan play it out within their own will, making them bear witness to themselves before Allah.

Allah Almighty knows all of it. Having people and Satan play these games within their own wills, He makes known that He will hold people and Satan to account for what they themselves did. Look, from all irresponsibility (?), from responsibilities (?), Allah Almighty falls into a state of no responsibility — no responsibility. And through the games His creatures play, the dirty deeds they do, the works they take up, they themselves earn reward and sin. Allah does not interfere in these. At Qalu Bala, when Allah Almighty made the covenant with people — so that they would not say, 'If You had sent me to a realm where Your Being is not seen, see how I would have worshipped You' — We sent you to (?) a realm, the realm that is the earth: with His saying this, Allah Almighty, tying every matter to causes, sent people from Paradise to the realm of mulk.

From Paradise He sends them to the realm of mulk. Yes.

Allah, who with His pre-eternal knowledge knew these events would appear this way — all these events, through the humans and Satan He created playing them out within their own wills: that these events were known beforehand, and that, so that people earn reward and sin, they would be sent to the realm of mulk, and so that people would have no excuse to say against Allah left, these events, within programs, within the wills of humans and jinn, are being played out.

Go down, He says. For you there is enjoyment on earth for a time. That He would send man to the realm of mulk we understand from this verse. Go down from there. Where to? To the world. Asfala safilin. To the lowest place, the lowest of the low. For Asfala safilin people say Hell; it is not Hell — Asfala safilin, the lowest of the low, is the realm of mulk; go down there. Yes, with this verse He explains that He would send man to the realm of mulk. Earlier, while creating the universe, He also equipped the world for people to live on it. That the earth was prepared for people to live on shows that He would send people to the earth.

Yes, He equips the world in the most beautiful way, and in the most beautiful way prepares the world for people to live in, and makes man the vicegerent of the earth.

It is not that Allah created these according to how events turned out. That is, it is not that events happen and then Allah creates it. Allah's (?) attribute. There is not a single living being to come until the Last Day whose doings We would not know. So the events to come are known beforehand. And in a verse He says: the keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. Yes, the unseen.

It is not that Allah created these according to how events turned out. If it depended on how events went, when Adam (peace be upon him) and our mother Eve approached the tree, He would not have told them: Go down from there. He would not have said go down, since He had set up Paradise, after all — He would not have had him taken out of there. So Allah Almighty, knowing these events would appear like this, made Adam (peace be upon him) and our mother Eve the cause of these events. The first to cause these: Eve and our father Adam become the cause of these events. As the first to err and be deceived, to Adam and our mother Eve He says: for you there is on earth a dwelling and enjoyment for a time. When He says this, it means people coming down to earth, until the moment of death benefiting from what Allah Almighty created, and finally, by dying, passing to the hereafter, coming about within programs.

And their coming to this earth — as a result of the covenants they gave Allah Almighty at that address Alastu bi-Rabbikum — what kind of character they have, what kind of person they are, friend of Allah or enemy of Allah, honored with the religion of Islam, or, outside the religion of Islam, caught up in various ideologies? And within the religion of Islam, what are their degrees of faith? Among non-Muslims, what deeds do they hold to? This is within the punishment or rewards that Allah, with His attribute of justice, will give them — within His justice. Allah knows that. Yes.
