Say; “Who has forbidden the adornments and the clean provisions that Allah has created for Allah’s servants?” Say; “In the worldly life, and especially in the hereafter they are for the Mu’min, they are only for them.” This is how We explain verses for a nation to understand.
Tafsir
People have forbidden to their own souls, without their knowledge, some of the good and pure sustenance that Allah has created for His servants, for their idols, according to their minds. Although these sustenances are allocated to human beings in this worldly life, they belong to the believers in the Hereafter. Allah (swt) gives the pure and clean sustenance that He created in the universe with His attribute of Rahman to His creatures without discrimination. This is because He sends each soul to the realm of property in accordance with the covenant He has made with it, in order that it may bear witness to Allah and to those around it. In this respect, even though people may forbid what Allah has made pure and clean according to their own minds, those who say that what Allah has not forbidden is forbidden, and who decide with their own fabrications instead of Allah's, are sinners, and they will not find these sustenances in the Hereafter even if they look for them. Because the sustenance that Allah says is specifically for the believers in the Hereafter will be for Allah's special servants in Paradise. They will not be in hell. Their food and drink will be oleander, fire and boiling water, as will be mentioned in the following verses. Thus does Allah (swt) make His Verses clear to mankind for a people who understand.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-A'raf, verse 32. Well, the adornment that Allah, for His servants, created, and the pure provisions, who has forbidden them? They are, in the life of this world, especially on the Day of Resurrection, for the believers.
How beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. They are for the believers. Thus We explain the verses for a people who know.
If people, for idols, well, sacrifice animals, and say this is lawful for us, this is forbidden for us, if they make forbidden what Allah made lawful, of course they will be called to account.
That which our Lord created as adornment and pure is the right of the believers, it says. Because they fear Allah and, in obedience and reverence toward their Lord, they do not fall short. The adornment and pure provisions Allah created for His servants, people, though they had no knowledge, according to their own minds, for their idols, forbade some of them to themselves. These provisions, although in the life of this world they are allotted to people, in the hereafter they belong to the believers. Because there, everything we desire will be found, will be given. Whatever we desired, whatever we desire in this world, perhaps we cannot get here, but in the hereafter our Lord, of what He made lawful for us, of what He created as adornment, the (?) kind He will offer the believers in that highest Paradise.
Yes, what Allah Almighty, with His attribute of mercy, created in the universe pure and clean, so that it would bear witness to Allah and to those around it, He sends them to the material world. so, although people, according to their own minds, forbid to themselves what Allah made clean and pure, those who call haram what Allah Almighty did not forbid and decide in Allah's place with their own inventions, just as they are sinners, will, in the hereafter, even if they look for these provisions, not find them. Why? Because in Hell there is the zakkum tree.
They will long for (?), but, He says, in the world would you decide in My place? Today, He says, your place is here; (?), He says, it is no longer your right, He says. It is the right of the believers, He says, yes. Today, He says to you, here there is the zakkum tree, He says, the zakkum tree's, its fruits, He says, its fruit. It is gnarled like the heads of devils, He says. So He likens the devil's head to the zakkum's fruit. If the zakkum's fruit is gnarled, the devil's head is the same. Yes. He will eat it, He says, whenever he gets hungry. It will hardly go down his throat. It is very bitter, He says. Bitter.
His intestines will swell as if they were going to boil, as if boiling, He says. They will get tangled up like this. He describes it. But in this world, how nicely they make people swallow that zakkum. Even if the zakkum flower were the rarest flower in the world, is it not to grow in Hell? Is it not Hell's plant, is it not the food of the unbelievers? Even if it were the world's medicine, I cannot love that zakkum. But the name zakkum sounds so lovely to people.
A person, through his own speech, (?) how well proves himself. The zakkum tree, He says, zakkum. The zakkum tree, of course, the zakkum tree. A person is gathered with the one he loves. Yes.
Because the provisions of which Allah says, in the hereafter, especially they are for the believers, in Paradise belong to Allah's chosen servants. These provisions will not be in Hell. As I said earlier, in Hell there is the zakkum tree. Their food and drink, as will be stated in the later verses, are zakkum, fire and boiling water. Boiling water, but there is also a water mixed into it, He says. Pus, God forbid. So for a people who understand, Allah Almighty has thus explained His verses to people. Yes. What does Allah Almighty mean? O people.
This world is a temporary lodging place, He says. A temporary lodging place.
If you incline toward it and plunge into the pleasures and delights of this lodging place, if you let yourselves be carried away by this life that has bloomed in this swamp and looks rosy, tomorrow in the hereafter you will have done harm to your own selves, He says. So if the treasure of life in your hands is an opportunity, a treasure, if it is a bird in your hand or in a cage, once that bird flies out of that cage, it never comes back. That is, once your life is over, there is no coming back. Because they say: my God, my Lord, send me back once more, see how I will worship You. According to the verse where He says: even if We sent you back not once but several times, you would do the same things again, the treasure of life has flown from the cage like a bird and gone.
So before you let it fly away, use this treasure well. Return to your Lord. Repent and seek forgiveness. For our past, our future, our life, let us ask our Lord for good and blessings. Because the keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. Let us always ask for good and blessings. Before our Lord, for our past, for our sins, let us be repentant. From our Lord, with a fine openness of insight, a fine understanding, turning to Allah, with fine worship, to the end of our lives, to the last breath, on the straight path, on a perfectly straight way, toward being servants to our Lord, let us pray to our Lord. Yes.
In Al-Fatiha we pray, don't we; again, my God, it says, we say, keep us firm on a perfectly straight path. Not the path of those who go astray, it says. Show us a perfectly straight path. And not the path of those who go astray, of those who turn their backs on You, it says. So if we use this treasure well, even if in this passing, perishable world you were ground between two millstones, if you bind your heart to your Lord, in the end this world will end, and in the end, in the divine presence, if I have carried out my Lord's command, if I am bound to Him from the heart, hoping for my Lord's mercy, and with Hasbünallâhü ve ni'me'l-vekîl, ni'me'l-mevlâ ve ni'me'n-nasîr, if I make Him my trustee, if I know Him as a companion, a friend, a support, and if I submit to Him, then if in the hereafter I also enter among the righteous, at that gathering when we are raised, with our lights shining on our right and before us, when we come before our Lord, when He receives us with a smiling face, under the shade of the Throne, without much questioning, (?), He will send us straight to our places in the highest Paradise.
So it is not worth it, the torment and trouble of this world, its pleasures and delights, within one lifetime, to turn your back on your Lord. Yes. Everything is openly in plain view. How beautiful the examples Allah Almighty gives. He lights up the way before us.
