Translation

Those who deny Our verses and turn away from them with arrogance, they are the dwellers of the hell. And they will remain in there for eternity.

Tafsir

Those who, out of pride and arrogance, deny the verses sent by Allah and turn away from Allah, such people are the inmates of the Fire and will abide therein forever.

Allah (swt) has brought all kinds of metaphors to prove His existence in a way that people can understand. He has made people feel His existence publicly and in absentia among people. With the submission of every mind to Allah, people's egoistic and satanic behavior, their denial of Allah and their denial of the Verses sent by Allah, makes them cruel to their own souls. By exchanging the eternal abode of bliss in the Hereafter, their eternal abode, for the temporal blessings of this world, they have bought the eternal Fire. And since they will remain in the Fire forever, Allah says to such people, "They are the inmates of the Fire".

What is said in the video

Surah Al-A'raf, verse 36: Those who deny Our verses and turn away from them in arrogance, He says, who will deny, Allah protect us. And who turn away, those who turn away, He says, they are the people of the fire. Now the hadiths, in the light of the verses, how we sift them,

I will now prove to you here, these verses.

Let us read it once more, this verse, let us read it once more. Those who deny Our verses and turn away from them in arrogance, He says, those, they are the people of the fire, the people of the fire. They will remain there forever. We put our finger on that 'people of the fire'.

We put our finger on that 'people of the fire'.

There was a hadith I had read to you. We will now prove it from there. There are many, actually. You know. I keep reading it to you like this. You know how they say about us: this man denies the hadiths; the poor man doesn't know what a hadith is; those narrations, words that contradict each other, thinking they are hadith, he accuses the Prophet of things that are not so, the poor man. If he used his reason a little and said: is this man really telling the truth, let me examine this; if he said (?), let me examine it, and if he knew what he would learn in that examination, then instead of talking like this, he would listen to us.

Look how far those who listen to us get, more or less, and they see that we are not ruled by superstitions. Now look what it says in the hadith, let me read it to you; not a hadith, rather we read what is not hadith: You know, Ubadah ibn Samit al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: whoever bears witness that there is no god but Allah, that Allah is one and without partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, His envoy, and likewise that Jesus is Allah's servant and envoy and a word of His that He cast to Mary and a spirit from Him, and likewise that paradise and hell are true, whatever deeds he may have, Allah will put him in His paradise, it says.

Now just look. It did away with all the prophets. Here now, whatever deeds you have. Consume usury, consume the haram, kill a man. Whatever deeds, be whatever you like, it says. As long as you, that Jesus too, is a servant of Allah Almighty and a word of His (?) to Mary, (?). That's all. Well, He will put him into Allah's paradise. Because they whittle it in their own favour, like a clog-maker's adze. They do away with Allah's verses. Now, (?) Muslim. They brought a, you know, for this: Tirmidhi. Well, now it says another narration of Muslim's. Can there be narration with hadith? There is this. Can a hadith have a narration?

Now, in another narration, he said as follows, it says; we come to the place we put our finger on. What did we say? Put your finger on this fire, I said. You know, He said they are the people of the fire; now we said put your finger on that fire, now we come to it. And of this we said: this is hadith. It is hadith. Why? Think: in another narration he said as follows. Whoever bears witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's messenger, Allah has made the fire forbidden to him. Now how beautifully this hadith said: so those who turn their backs on those verses and deify their nafs, those, He says, are the people of the fire. So the fire is forbidden to the Muslim.

Well, won't he enter hell, Hodja? Hell doesn't only have places of fire, you know. In hell there are cold places called zamharir, there are prisons. Just as, aren't there prisons in this world too? In this world too, where one will be tormented, that will count (?) two days as one, one day as two, aren't there such places? In this case the torment the kafir will see is one thing. The torment the Muslim will see is another. Within my faith, the punishment for what I have done: the fire is forbidden. I am open to punishments and sufferings other than the fire. But the fire is forbidden. Now the fire that I would deserve: Those who turn away from Allah's verses, He says, they are the people of the fire.

The fire is for them. They will remain there forever, He says. Forever. So there is no fire for the Muslim. So when we sift these hadiths, the people of this time take those narrations for hadith and think this is knowledge. Because it contradicts that knowledge, because it contradicts his superstition, he then starts to (?). In fact he is in no position to (?); if he used his reason and could make a little comparison, he would see the truth. So when the Mahdi comes too, some such superstitious ones will oppose the Mahdi and wage war. Although they are Muslims, those superstitious ones will wage war.

But the Prophet will settle their account. That Mahdi will settle their account. He will make those superstitious ones bow. Yes.

People who, out of pride and vanity, act arrogantly and deny the verses Allah sent, who turn away from Allah: such people are the people of the fire and will remain there forever, He says. So that people understand, as proof of His existence, Allah Almighty has brought every kind of comparison. He has made people feel His existence openly, among people in absentia. In absentia. You know, a person is not present somewhere, but his existence to them he makes known, sir. That is, in absentia he sends men to them and makes his command known among them. So Allah Almighty too sheds light on people with His verses in this way.

And makes His existence felt in this way.

(?), people's carnal and satanic behaviour, their denying Allah and denying the verses Allah sent: these make them wrongdoers against their own selves. In exchange for the passing blessings of this world, they trade the eternal abode of bliss in the hereafter, the everlasting home, and buy eternal fire. Since they remain in the eternal fire, Allah says of such people: they are the people of the fire. He says.
