Translation

Who is more oppressing than those who make slander against Allah or who deny Allah’s verses? Their share in the Book will reach them. When they (Our angels) come at the end and take their lives, they say; “Where are the deities that you worshipped while leaving Allah?” (And they will) say; “They have vanished from us.” And they will bear witness against themselves for being infidels.

Tafsir

Those who slander Allah by saying that Allah and His Messenger said so when Allah and His Messenger did not say so, those who associate partners with Allah by inventing gods according to their minds, those who ascribe children and wives to Allah, those who deny the Verses sent by Allah, those who kill the Prophets unjustly, those who make changes in the Books sent by Allah without fearing Him, there is no one more unjust than these people towards their own souls.

(Their share in the Book will reach them). The meaning of this Ayat is that Allah (swt) is addressing the people by declaring that such people are the people of fire in their eternal life in Hell. We will show such people their portion in the Book, that is, that Our Word is true. We will resurrect you after death and will call you to account on the Day of Judgment, the Day of Reckoning. They will be given their share in the Book, without injustice to anyone. They will be sent to Hell, the abysmal abode of return, because they disobeyed the Verses of Allah in this world.

When they are dying and the messengers of Allah come to them and take their lives, they say, 'Where are your gods whom you worshipped besides Allah? They say, "They have fled from us. There is no God other than Allah to take care of His creatures. If Allah is the owner of the universe and there is no God but Him, surely Allah will not leave His creatures unattended. He will repay them for their deeds as their owners. When each soul of Allah's creation tries to save its own soul, Allah, the Owner of His creation, will ask each soul to account for what that soul has done. Allah is the Owner of everything. If man trusts in Allah, he will find salvation. The created things are mortal. They are of no use even to themselves. That is why they will say of their gods that they have slipped away from us, that they have disappeared and we cannot see them. With these words they prove that they are disbelievers, and in this way they will be included in Hell, their eternal place.

What is said in the video

We can continue. Surah Al-A'raf, verse 37. Allah Almighty, in His verse: than those who invent a lie against Allah or deny His verses, who is more unjust? He says.

Who is more unjust than those who invent a lie against Allah or deny His verses, He says. Although Allah and His Messenger did not say it, those people say Allah and His Messenger said so, and they invent lies against Allah. For example, in our time, the hadiths of the Prophet (peace be upon him): according to narrations, the Prophet said such and such; and the Prophet's hadiths that he did not say, they take for hadith, and then the lies that people who oppose the truths have told about the Prophet. Likewise, in the verse, Allah Almighty: although He sent down no proof about them, they say Allah said so.

They falsely invent lies against Allah. These are people who are unjust to their own selves. Yes. Their share from the Book will reach them, He says. What is their share from the Book? Allah Almighty: those outside the religion of Islam, who invent lies against Allah and His Messenger, their place is the fire of hell; and finally, according to the verse where He says every soul will taste death and your return is to Me, to Allah Almighty, (?) on this Day of Reckoning.

Alaysa Allahu bi-ahkami al-hakimin. Our Lord, the Judge of judges, according to His verses where He says on that day the judgement is Mine alone, will give His judgement about people, and finally people, those who wronged their own selves, will take the road to eternal hell.

In the end, when Our messengers come and take their souls, they say: where are the gods you used to worship besides Allah? Yes. That is, when it says Azrael (peace be upon him) came, Our messengers, Azrael (peace be upon him) comes and, while taking that person's soul, says: where is the god you used to worship? They say: they slipped away from us, and they bear witness against themselves that they were kafirs. What is the witness here? The witness here: where is the point at which they bore witness against themselves? They say, He says: they slipped away from us. Yet Allah does not abandon His servants.

So since Allah does not abandon His servants, since those that slipped away are not the Lord, they have borne witness against themselves.

Although Allah and His Messenger did not say it, those who invent lies against Allah by saying Allah and His Messenger said so, those who make up gods according to their own minds and associate partners with Allah, those who ascribe a child and a wife to Allah; for example, they say Jesus is the son of Allah. They say Mary is His wife. They say Ezra (peace be upon him) is the son of Allah. The Jews say: we are Allah's close ones, we are Allah's sons. They say: the fire will not touch us for more than three days. In this case these are people who are unjust to their own selves. Yes.

Those who deny the verses Allah sent, those who killed the prophets unjustly, those who, without fearing Allah, made changes in the books He sent: than these people there is no one more unjust to his own self. Yes, such people are people who are unjust to their own selves. Those who trade the hereafter for this worldly life and, deceived by the passing adornments of worldly life, deny the hereafter. Their share from the Book will reach them. What is meant by this verse: Allah Almighty, making known that such people, in their eternal life in hell, are people of the fire, addresses people: O people!

To such people We will show their share from the Book, that is, that Our word is true, says Allah Almighty. Who is as true to his word as Allah? He says. No one can be. Because Allah Almighty is the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden, because He has programmed what He created until the Day of Judgement, there is never any shortcoming in it. Whatever He said, that is how it is. No one can be as true to his word as Allah. However loyal people may be, since they do not know the unseen, they can sometimes be mistaken. Not sometimes; many are often mistaken. For this reason no created being can be as true to its word as Allah.

O people! To such people We will show their share from the Book, that is, that Our word is true. After death We will resurrect you and on the Day of Judgement, on that Day of Reckoning, call you to account, He says. To account. Surely all people will be called to account. Before creating these realms, Allah Almighty, that His being be known, He willed. That His being be known. So first, from His own light, He created the light of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Then He gave him of His spirit. And from his spirit, we said, He created the spirits of the prophets. And from the spirits of those prophets He created the spirits of their peoples.

Yes.

Well, He created them, and what happened? you may ask. He created them. So Allah Almighty willed that His being be known through man. Apart from all His creatures, He willed to be known through man. Although He left jinn and humans free in their will, although He left humans and jinn free in their wills, He has not given any creation in the universe a trait He gave to man. And what is that? His spirit. What He gave of His spirit. In this case Allah Almighty made man the one addressed by His being and willed that it be known, left him free with his partial will, and man will receive reward and sin for the deeds he does with his own will.

So these people, in this world, do they think they are left to roam aimlessly, did they think they would not be called to account? So Allah Almighty, since He willed to be known through man, that His being be known through man, created our spirits in the realm of lahut and made a covenant with them at the address 'Alastu bi-Rabbikum', and raised them to the realm of barzakh. In this case every person will come to the world when his time comes and, according to the verse: Did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are?, every person will hold himself as witness to himself, to those around and to Allah Almighty, and finally, after man has proved what kind of person he is, according to the verse every soul will taste death, every person, every living being and every soul will taste death.

And finally these realms that Allah Almighty created and, in the worldly life, which is a part of this (?) He programmed, after people migrate to the hereafter, finally, from this realm of barzakh, however many spirits, however many people are to come to the world, after they are completed, the Last Day will break. And finally, when the earth becomes another earth and the heavens another heaven, when the world too, He says, flat, the mountains scattered, is brought flat to that place of gathering, then Allah Almighty, whose power cannot be reached, at the Supreme Court, the Judge of judges, Allah Almighty will call us to account.

So did man think himself left to roam aimlessly in this universe, in this world? Yet he is under such a responsibility, and the poor man is unaware of himself, unaware of this responsibility. If you ask, what kind of responsibility, Hodja, look what Allah Almighty says. On the Day of Judgement, the verse: when you come before Me with a driver, is enough for us. What is in this verse? One meaning: you with a driver, that is, this soul which owns our bodies, and with these bodies of ours given in trust to our soul; you know how He says when the souls are paired, He says, We will silence your mouths, bind your feet and make your hands speak. And what does our soul say?

Our soul says to the body: why are you (?) witness against me? (?), our body: my Lord who made me speak is making me speak, it says. And finally, according to the verse We bring you to life twice and make you die twice. The first bringing to life is bodily, here. Our first death is bodily, here. The second resurrection is in the hereafter, bodily, there. And finally, after the (?) against our soul is over, you are returned to the One who first created you, He says. You are returned to the One who first created you. The body dies a second time there, and the verse We bring you to life twice and make you die twice has come to pass.

In this case your greatest witness is in yourself, in your own being; wherever you flee, wherever you go, whatever hole you hide in, even if you go to the most beautiful corner of the universe, it will be with you, bearing witness. You will not escape it. So accordingly, in the hereafter, so that you can answer that questioning, be careful about Allah Almighty's divine command, so that you attain your Lord's mercy, so that the questions there are easy for you and you attain your Lord's mercy. Yes.

And we said: O people, to such people We will show their share from the Book, that is, that Our word is true. After death We will resurrect you and on the Day of Judgement, on that Day of Reckoning, call you to account. Without anyone being wronged, his share from the Book will be given to him. What does Allah Almighty say? In His verse: today, without anyone being wronged, you will be given in full what your two hands earned, He says. Yes. Allah wrongs no soul, He says. You wrong your own selves, He says. Yes. Because in this world they opposed Allah's verses, they will be sent to hell, that evil abode of return.

Those who wronged their own selves. That is, those who deny Allah's verses or who oppose Him and say Allah sent nothing, or, as I said just now, those who fall into shirk, who associate partners with Allah, who slay, who kill their prophets. In this case, when on the Day of Judgement Allah Almighty's settling of their account is done, the verse where He says what an evil place of return, what an evil bed, a bed is a sleeping place; that is, it is the camp where people will remain forever, that verse will come to pass. Allah protect us. May Allah protect us all from such an end. When they are dying, when Allah's messengers come to them and take their souls, they say: where are your gods that you used to worship besides Allah?

They say: they slipped away from us. There is no other god besides Allah to stand by what He created. Yes. So Allah stands by what He created. So if they slipped away, then they are servants created by Allah. They are things that are not even aware of themselves. And finally, on the Day of Judgement they will be summoned, that is, those idols they made with their own hands will be summoned, and they will say: my Lord, You know that we were unaware that they worshipped us, they will say. Yes, they will bear witness against them in this way too, and they too will have been called to account for the wrongs they did to themselves, to their own selves.

They say: they slipped away from us, they say. There is no other god besides Allah to stand by what He created. If the owner of the universe is Allah, and if there is no god besides Him, surely Allah does not leave what He created to roam aimlessly. He will give them the recompense of what they did as their reckoning. He will surely ask for the reckoning of the recompense of what they did. And finally He, as the Judge of judges, so that no one is wronged, the recompense of what everyone earned, of what their two hands earned, in full to them He will give.

When every soul Allah created tries to save itself, then Allah, the owner of what He created, will face each soul and ask for the reckoning of what that soul did. Of each soul.

The owner of everything is Allah. The owner of everything. Because all that is created, from the atom to the sphere, was created by Allah. All these beings brought into existence from nothing, all beings seen and unseen, were created by our Lord. And they are surrounded by the Throne of Allah. When we say the Throne of Allah, these seven layers of heaven and what is in them mean what Allah created. And what does He say in a verse? Or do you own a single atom of your world? If that were so, from your world not even as much as a seed's (?) would be given to you. What does this mean? What is the meaning of this verse?

O people, or is it that, apart from what Allah created, the power to create is yours? If you had created as much as that atom, as that seed's (?), anything, you would then meet your own needs yourselves. You would not need what I created, and I would give you nothing of what I created, He says. Yes. So since people can create nothing, if all that is created was created by Allah, He makes known to us that there is no god besides Him. Plus, moreover, according to the verse the heavens and the earth and what is between them know the remembrance of their Lord, there is no creator besides Allah Almighty, and all that is created, by remembering Allah, makes known that the owner of this universe is Allah.

Hodja, how do these living and non-living things remember Allah? How do they remember Him? Since Allah created the universe with knowledge, could you open this up a little, when you say that: all the atoms of all magnetic or antimagnetic substances, and the molecules inside them, neutrons and protons, positively and negatively charged nuclei, while they turn around each other's axes, Allah Almighty turns them around each other's axes with such harmony that they remember Allah. Allah. And at the same time, those positive and negative electron particles, while turning around their own (?), give out a signal.

So with that signal, just as soul and body meet as if by a telephone, on the Day of Judgement, with those frequencies that find each other, on that Day among billions of people they will find each other at once. In this case, if the heavens and the earth and what is between them know the remembrance of their Lord, if Allah Almighty has made them remember His being, like what? Just as a factory brings out a product, stamps its emblem on that product and gets its patent, since no factory can produce it under that patent, under that name, Allah Almighty, by making all He created, from the atom to the sphere, remember His being, proves that He is the absolute owner and power of these realms.

With knowledge. Our Lord created the universe with knowledge, and with knowledge it will end. Not with superstitions. Not with the superstitions people say according to their own minds. Yes.

The owner of everything is Allah. If man trusts in Allah, he will prosper. As for created things, they are mortal. They are of no use even to themselves. So in this respect we continue (?).

That is, those gods vanished. Those idols people made with their own hands vanished. When they say we cannot see them, if only you could see them, He says. So with these words of theirs they prove they are kafirs, and in this way they enter hell, their eternal place. In this way they enter eternal hell.
