There is no advice that comes to them from Rahman (Allah the Merciful) from which they don’t turn away from it (in denial).
Tafsir
Allah (swt) sends the Verses to guide people and to give them Paradise in the Hereafter. For Allah is forgiving and merciful to His servants.
As people come to a realm of the unseen, Allah (swt) sends them Prophets, Books and scholars so that they may be aware of Allah (swt). People who have made a good covenant with Allah (swt) learn from these verses and admonitions and obey Allah and His Prophets.
As for the disbelievers, they persist in trying to escape Allah's mercy and mercy. Allah treats them with His mercy until the end of their lives in this world. But when the doors of repentance close at the time of death, they reject Allah's mercy and go to the Hereafter as disbelievers. Allah's mercy and compassion will be removed from them.
As long as people live, Allah (swt) gives advice to people with verses. He informs them that the path of the disbelievers is a wrong path and enlightens the paths of these disbelievers by constantly warning them. Despite His invitation to the Truth through His Prophets, these disbelieving people oppose and turn away from every new piece of advice, that is, every new verse. This is because their character has been written on such denial in proportion to their desires, and they have been destined for such a state.
What is said in the video
We have come to the fifth verse of Surah Ash-Shu'ara. No new admonition comes to them from the Most Merciful that they do not turn away from. Whenever Allah Almighty sent down a verse to the Beloved of the Almighty, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), they either say it is magic, or they say he is a madman, sir, or else that it is what the ancients made up, and they do not believe. To lead people to guidance and to give them paradise in the abode of the hereafter, Allah Almighty sends verses. Because Allah is most forgiving and most merciful towards His servants. Why? Because He created us deficient in mind, that's why.
Why did He create us deficient? Couldn't He create us complete? He could. Then He would have created beings equal to His essence. So why did He create us deficient? He created us deficient so that we would make mistakes. Then we will understand our mistake. We will turn back to Allah Almighty. That is, on returning: O my Lord, I lived through a period of ignorance. When he says, forgive me, Allah Almighty will pardon and forgive him. What does He say in His verse? If you had never committed a mistake on earth, We would destroy you and create servants who commit mistakes. So when man errs and understands his mistake, when he reaches maturity, Allah Almighty's power of creation, His identity, before His greatness, when he prostrates and bows his neck, Allah Almighty, since it fits the purpose of creation, forgives him.
Not that: let me sin knowingly, let me do it on purpose, I'll ask Allah for forgiveness. Then tell me: to ask for that forgiveness, do you have in your hand any proof that you will live that long? What does the Prophet say?
Long hopes are shirk, he says. Then you would have fallen into shirk. Yes.
Since people came to an unseen realm, so that they would be informed of Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty sends them prophets, books, scholars. So the people who gave their covenant to Allah Almighty well take lessons from these verses, these admonitions, and obey Allah and His prophets.
The deniers, however, to flee from Allah's vast mercy and compassion, keep digging in their heels. Until they complete their lifetimes in the world, Allah treats them too with His mercy. But at the moment of death, when the doors of repentance close, since they did not accept Allah's mercy, they go to the hereafter as deniers. And Allah Almighty's vast compassion and vast mercy and compassion are lifted from them. Yes. I liken them to this.
In a desert left without water, someone has come to his deathbed, and Allah Almighty, from the sky, His mercy rains down. And this one has opened his umbrella. He hides under his umbrella so as not to benefit from that mercy. And, you blessed man, you are going to die, after all. And Allah's mercy is raining on you. Drink some of its water, why don't you. No. That stubborn. Because he did not know Allah in his time. He has no idea of the mercy He rains down either. Yes.
Until they complete their lifetimes in the world, Allah treats them too with His mercy. But at the moment of death, when the doors of repentance close, since they did not accept Allah's mercy, they go to the hereafter as deniers. And Allah Almighty's vast mercy and compassion are lifted from them. As long as people live, Allah Almighty gives people admonitions through the verses. He makes known to the deniers that the path they have taken is a wrong place for them. And by constantly warning them, He lights the paths of these denying people. Although He has them invited to the Truth through the prophets, His prophets, these denying people oppose each newly revealed admonition, that is, each verse, and make a habit of turning away from it.
Because their characters, in this way, upon denial, have shaped themselves according to their desires; these states of theirs were written for them as destiny. Now, while reading this verse, it comes to my mind... here, is our Quran here? Bring it, let me see, (?) give me our Quran. My Quran is over there in the corner. Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 17 comes to my mind. To whom?
Tafsir. Those who say: I'm writing tafsir, I'm writing a translation, I'm a scholar, I have a title, I write translations; they come to my mind. Now pay attention.
Their state, the hypocrites', is the example of a fire kindled on a dark night. What fire are they going to kindle? Allah already gives light all around with His mercy. They are people who turn their backs on that light. See, a moment ago I gave an example, I said He rains His mercy. What does it say? It is the example of a fire kindled on a dark night. When the fire lights up its surroundings, Allah immediately takes away their light and leaves them in darkness. Now, does this fit the example I gave a moment ago? Does Allah Almighty rain His mercy on everyone in the world? On the idol-worshipper, the idol-worshipper, the religious, the irreligious, (?), does He send mercy to the worlds? Then does Allah rain His mercy?
Does He give them their provision? Does He wrong them? Does He let them benefit from the blessings of the world? In this case, on which dark night did they kindle a fire? You entrusted Allah's mercy to them, and after that they lit up the surroundings. They got to where they could support themselves, and because Allah was angry with them, their light He shut off. He left them in their darkness. Ugh, shame on you, really. Shame on you. Yet their state, the hypocrites', is the example of a fire burning on a dark night. That is, as I explained a moment ago, Allah Almighty rains His mercy on everyone.
It rains. When the fire lights up its surroundings, those who put out the fire, that is, those who flee from Allah's mercy. O people! This universe has only one owner. That is La İlahe İllallah. There is no god but Allah. Accept this. We accepted. Then: Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Although He says the Quran was sent down to the worlds, it is My word, La İlahe İllallah we say, but Muhammeden Resulullah we do not say. Well then, if you say we don't want Your mercy either, then like someone in that desert who has come to the point of death, having opened your umbrella, you become a person fleeing from Allah's mercy.
What happens in the end? A word from our Lord came to pass. Paradise and hell. And when you go to the hereafter without faith, in this short life, this worldly life you lived for an hour, an hour and a half compared to the hereafter, you will have turned the abode of eternal bliss into disaster. You will have left it exposed to punishment. Now, are you sensible? Which mind are you talking about? If I were sensible... Allah Almighty addresses all people. Do you not use your minds at all? Do you not reflect at all? So those who use their minds, who accept Islam, who say La ilahe illallah Muhammeden Resulullah, who say Eşhedü en lâ ilâhe illallah ve eşhedü enne Muhammeden abdühü ve resulühü; the others, those who cannot use their minds, are the people this verse corresponds to.
Which verse, Hodja? They are like four-legged animals roaming the earth, it says. Yes. Nay, they are even more astray, it says.
What beautiful verses.
Allah lights the way before us.
As long as people live, Allah Almighty gives people admonitions through the verses. He makes known to the deniers that the path they have taken is a wrong place for them. And by constantly warning them, the paths of these denying people He lights up. Although He invites to the Truth through His prophets, these denying people, to each revealed new admonition, that is, each verse, are opposed, and make a habit of turning away from it. Because their characters, in this way, upon denial, according to their own desires have been shaped; these states of theirs were written for them as destiny.
