Translation

There are mattresses of Hellfire and coverings over them (of the hellfire). This is how We punish the oppressors.

Tafsir

Those who disbelieve in Allah, who deny His Verses, who associate partners with Allah, who deify their own souls, who recognize no one but themselves, who are arrogant against Allah and take His Verses lightly, these are the ones for whom there will be beds of fire beneath them in Hell, and on top of them will be beds of fire, and on top of them will be quilts or ties of fire. This is how Allah will punish those who, while in this world, belied the Verses of Allah, who killed the messengers of Allah, who changed the Books sent by Allah with their own hands, who led people into disbelief, who said that Allah has sons and angels have daughters.

They will not come out of the Fire. They have no salvation. These are the people who are burdened with the eternal misery of eternal life. Is it worth it to bear the misery of the Hereafter in favor of this world, which is a place of little entertainment and enjoyment? Allah (swt) foretells what will happen. A human being is one who uses his intellect, sees the truth, turns away from his nafs and the devil, changes his bad path, enters the straight path of Allah, which is the straight path, and perseveres there, and passes on to the Hereafter as a pure servant of Allah. May Allah keep us all on the straight and narrow path and grant us the opportunity to pass on to the hereafter as a pure servant of Allah.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-A'raf, the 41st verse is where we stopped, the 41st verse. Allah Almighty: for them, beds of the fire of Hell – who are they? Non-Muslims. And over them there are coverings. Beds of the fire of Hell, a bed, and over them coverings, that is, quilts. Made of what? Of fire. Thus do We punish the wrongdoers, says Allah Almighty. The wrongdoers.

Allah Almighty gave people intellect so that His essence would be known. He left them free in their will. As the greatest blessing, He gave a part of His spirit. And finally, that His essence be known through man's own will, He willed. He created man as the noblest of creatures. He made him the most excellent of created beings. In this case, if man forgets his Creator, if he turns his back on the many blessings Allah Almighty has given, he cries out. Yes.

Why? He cries out. Why? He cries out.

a kind of instead of a quilt, it could be a binding too. Because when they try to get up from there and flee, that binding will heat them. That is, they will be bound there. They will lie there.

Yes. To those who in the world called Allah's verses lies, who killed Allah's messengers, to those who changed with their hands the books Allah sent, to those who drag people into kufr, to those who say Allah has sons and (?) are impure – Allah gives such punishment. Now, beneath them beds, above them, it says, again coverings of fire, it says, coverings. This covering can be a quilt, or a binding too.

Or, when it says "above them", a mass of fire heating them from above could also be meant. A mass of fire. A mass of fire that burns them. From above them. There are some figurative meanings here.

There are some figurative meanings. There is no sleep in the world of the hereafter. Since there is no sleep, the bed here is defined as Hell, as their eternal place. Their eternal place.

The meaning of the bed is their staying eternally in Hell. As for the coverings over them: since there is no sleep, constantly over them a (?) of fire burning them. So, always exposed to the fire of Hell, exposed to that punishment, their eternal lot – that is, the place of punishment where they will stay forever – Hell is emphasized here, and when it says fires over them there, they will never be (?) from the fire, and when their fire dies down, it says, those fires will be rekindled. In this case, in Hell, the eternal place of punishment, from their (?), their gatherings having no deliverance, they will remain in an eternal place of punishment – Allah Almighty declares this here.

That is the meaning of bed here. This is said in a figurative sense. Because there is no sleep in the world of the hereafter. We will forget it. There is no relieving oneself. We'll forget that too. There, spiritually, everything we eat, together with sweat, will come out. Because there is no body. Yes.

We said there is no coming out of the fire for them either. Of course. As their fire dies down, Allah Almighty will increase their fire. They have no deliverance. They have no deliverance at all. These are people loaded with the eternal agony of eternal life. Is it worth it, inclining towards this world, a place of a little amusement and gain, to take on the agony of the hereafter? Is it worth it? Is it worth turning an eternal, endless life

into the fire of Hell, the punishment of Hell? If only he used his intellect and said stop to his nafs, did not fall for Satan's temptation, if man were patient, if over his nafs he had a will to rule – over his nafs a will able to rule. Yes. Then man tastes the delight of humanity. Because when he rules his nafs, it makes him say thoughtless words to the person before him. In the end, in the face of words that will shame him, man has debased himself. But if man is patient and, in his heart, takes in what is said like a blind well and makes it vanish, man finds ease. Perhaps at first it is hard for a person, but then, in the face of its mercy, its beauty, in the face of Allah's mercy, when the beauty of ruling his nafs comes to light, man attains peace.

So if man could rule his nafs and did not follow Satan's tracks and go along with what pleases his nafs, he would attain salvation. Submit to that Allah. So Allah Almighty informs of what will happen. That is, that the people who travel to the hereafter like this, as non-Muslims, not heeding Allah's command, have the eternal place of Hell as their place and will there be subjected to an eternal punishment, He openly declares.

Humanity (?) – using one's intellect, seeing the truths, from the nafs and Satan truly turning from the bad path, entering Allah's right path, the sirat-ı müstakim, staying firm there, passing to the world of the hereafter as a sincere servant of Allah – that is it. And that is what man is.

The essence of our creation as human beings: when someone receives help from someone or receives a kindness, a person who, as far as he can, strives to do good to him, a person who, as one who received kindness, tries as far as he can to stand by the one who did good, and who doesn't forget that kindness – that person is a human being. Who doesn't forget kindness. The kindness of kindnesses – Allah Almighty has given us great blessings; if in the face of them we turn our backs on our Lord, does this have anything left to do with humanity? Yes, He gives you a part of His essence, gives you a spirit, makes you the noblest of creatures above the worlds, pours every kind of blessing before you and makes you vicegerent over His creatures in the world.

And you come and turn your back on such a Lord, and for your own nafs boast, be proud, (?), be full of haughtiness. And after that, when you see that punishment: did I deserve this? Of course you deserve it, you deserve it. Because you, far from those feelings of compassion, those beautiful feelings, followed Satan's footsteps and took your place in the enemy's ranks – that's why. You did not obey the One who created you, and could not know Him. You showed enmity towards your Creator, and friendship towards the one hostile to the Creator. You befriended the one hostile to your Creator; towards the Creator, you did not take your place in His ranks, but took your place in the ranks of His enemy.

Of course this punishment is fitting for you. Yes.

May Allah Almighty keep us all on the straight path and, as sincere servants of Allah, grant us and make easy for us the passage to the hereafter.
