Tafsir
The inhabitants of A'raf will say to some people whom they recognized by their faces in the world when they were going to Hell: "Neither your multitude nor the greatness that you were proud of did you any good. Those who boasted in this world of their lineage and descent, those who took pride in their tribe, those who boasted of it and looked down on people, those who mocked Allah's Verses by making light of them, those who made their own souls gods by associating partners with Allah, those who made Allah's religion crooked with their tongues, in the Hereafter, When they see what Allah has promised them in truth and they are dragged to Hell, they will wake up as if from sleep when they see that their wealth and possessions and the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon them will not benefit them in the Hereafter. But because they have hatred and hatred against Allah in their nature, the more they see these torments, the more their hatred and hatred against Allah will increase. As this hatred and hatred increases, they will remain in Hell for eternity because their souls are not satisfied, that is, they do not believe in Allah. In that case, they will not be able to get out of there.
What is said in the video
Again, the people of the A'raf call out to some men they recognize by their faces and say: Neither your great numbers nor the greatness you put on have been of any use to you. Now, how beautifully Allah Almighty tells us what will happen. You know, before a person goes somewhere, they give him a book (?), roughly that place he will go to is introduced to him. Roughly, the person does not feel a stranger to what he meets in that place he goes to. Because he has read it, he has learned what will happen there, the states of what will happen. So thanks to Allah, the future, that is, what will befall us, the events that will be displayed before our eyes when we pass to the realm of the hereafter, He tells us like this. Do not feel a stranger.
These will appear there. If you do not believe, there you will be with the people of the wrongdoers. If you believe, you will enter My Paradise. This is the future, He says, and with His verses to us He holds up the light of the future. With His verses.
What does it say? Again, the people of the A'raf call out to some men they recognize by their faces and say: Neither your great numbers nor the greatness you put on have been of any use to you. Just as these people of the A'raf recognize by their faces those who will go to Paradise, they also recognize by their faces those who will enter Hell, and to them they say: While in the world, you boasted of your lineage, leaving aside the living and going as far as the graves, counting your lineage; has that great number been of any use to you? Turning your backs on Allah and denying the verses, has that been of any use to you here?
When you pleased your nafs and followed the footsteps of Satan, Allah Almighty's verses (?), belittling them, falling into the pride and arrogance of your own nafs, the pleasure with which you lived the worldly life, has it been of any use to you here, they will say. Yes, what does it say? Again, the people of the A'raf call out to some men they recognize by their faces and say: Neither your great numbers nor the greatness you put on have been of any use to you. I had property, I had possessions, I had money, I had children and family, my lineage, sir, was this and that; when you said that, did you see that none of these was of any use to you, it says now here.
Yes, the people of the A'raf call out to some people whom they recognize by their faces as going to Hell and say: Neither your great numbers nor the greatness you put on have been of any use to you. Those who in the world boasted of their lineage, prided themselves on the size of their clans, looked down on people, swaggering with it, took Allah's verses lightly and mocked them, associated partners with Allah and deified their own selves, wanted to show Allah's religion as crooked with their tongues; when in the realm of the hereafter they see what Allah promised as true and are dragged to Hell, (?), when they see that the blessings Allah Almighty bestowed on them are of no use to them in the hereafter, yes, they will wake up as if waking from sleep.
But since in their nature there is rancor and hatred toward Allah, the more they see the torment in the face of these torments, the more their rancor and hatred toward Allah will grow. And as this rancor and hatred grow, since their nafs is not mutmain, that is, since they did not believe in Allah, they will remain in eternal Hell. In this case there is no coming out of there for them. Yes. Because he gave his covenant that way. In such a way as not to recognize Allah, as to recognize a Lord of his own imagination, and since out of his nafs' pride and arrogance he looked down on his Lord, he gave his covenant that way. But Hodja, can a person look down on his Lord?
What kind of talk is this? How can this Creator be looked down on? The Creator, too, in your form. In human form. When He says, I am your Lord, then that pride and arrogance, that grandeur in his nafs, does not recognize Him as Lord. He does not recognize the one before him, the one who created him, as Lord. He is waiting for a Lord of his own imagination. So the pride and arrogance, the grandeur in his nafs, leads him to deny his Lord. In this case these states of theirs, these conditions, become their very character. Even if he enters Hell, in that world, he cannot get out of that (?). And because his character is like that.
In this case the person becomes destined for Hell. I came across someone. We will take revenge on Allah, he says. This one worships Satan. Satan. I told him this. I said: Satan, Satan too was created by Allah. But he did not obey Allah's command and was cursed.
Those who follow him will go to Hell with them. With what (?), I said? You worship Satan, and you will take revenge on Allah?
Such a character, or such covenants, that have entered that (?), it is impossible to get him out of it. Impossible. And every time you say something, every word you say, he fills with rancor. He fills with rancor against Allah and against you. And he prostrates to Satan. To Satan. I also met a person like this. He does not go beyond what he says. So what Satan asked of Allah Almighty: I will sit in front of Your servants and turn Your servants who come to You, sir, away from You. What does Allah Almighty say? What Satan hoped for, He says, his imagining came true, He says. That is, what he imagined came true.
Because Satan has no knowledge of the future. He only speaks as if from the unseen; in fact he has no knowledge of the unseen. He says some things about the future by his own reasoning, and they come true. So in this matter he did not know, in the (?) people gave, he makes come true that they would follow him. Yes.
In this case, if a person, a person uses his reason, since man was created noble, that there is no god but Allah, that He is the owner of the worlds, and that He can never be opposed; that if His command is gone beyond, He will turn the abode of eternal bliss into an abode of eternal torment; and finally that by Allah's attribute of justice, without being able to wrong anyone, in a realm where no favouritism and no material thing works, a person will live by what he earned, in return for his own (?). Yes. This worldly realm is a treasure. Man's treasure, life too is a treasure. The chance is at hand. To gain the earnings of the abode of eternal bliss, you will not follow your nafs. You will not follow the footsteps of Satan.
You will walk the path Allah commanded. You will keep away from evils. You will struggle with your nafs. Yes. You will prove your servanthood to Allah. How will you prove your servanthood to Allah? You will avoid your nafs' desire for bad things. You will carry out Allah's command upon you. What is it? In the religion of Islam, the word of testimony. Saying it with the tongue, affirming it with the heart. Then praying, fasting, going on Hajj, giving zakat. Sir, these are Allah Almighty's commands upon you. Sir, believing in the hereafter and the angels is part of faith. Sir, in rising after death.
All these within the religion of Islam are a crucible that completes one another, a (?). Therefore in Allah's angels, His books, His prophets, the hereafter, death and rising, rising after death, the hereafter, in all of them you will believe, you will have faith. And in this way you will try to live them. To live them. You will keep away from the bad things Allah has forbidden. From the forbidden, from adultery, from, let me say, interest, from alcohol, from gambling, you will keep away from these. And you will treat your mother and father well. However bad they may be, even if they wrong you, you will treat them with kindness.
But if they urge you toward evil, that is, urge you outside Allah's command, then, it says, there is (?) and parting from them, it says. Yes. You will carry out Allah's commands in this way, so that you may gain the life of the abode of eternal bliss.
