Tafsir
We have touched upon the food of the people of Hell in the previous Verses. Allah will make the people of Hell eat the fruit of the oleander tree. In the Holy Qur'an, Allah (swt) describes the fruit of the oleander tree and says that it is like the head of the devil, it is lumpy and bitter, and when they eat it, they will be overcome with fever and will drink boiling water or pus instead of water. They will suffer this punishment because they disbelieved in Allah while they were in the world, and they considered Allah's pure and lawful sustenance to be unlawful. Therefore, these people will call out to the people of Paradise, longing for their food in this world. They will say, "Give us some of the blessings, sustenance and water that Allah has given you. The inhabitants of Paradise will say to the inhabitants of Hell, 'Allah has forbidden this sustenance to the disbelievers.
Those who deny Allah and the Last Day, deny His Prophets, associate partners with Allah and plunge into the darkness of shirk, disobey Allah's commands and do not observe the hijab, have forgotten the honor and dignity of humanity, As Allah says in one of His Verses, "They are like the four-legged creatures that roam the earth, even more astray in their course", Allah reveals to us with His Verses the fate of those who act in this manner.
In this case, people who are deceived by the blessings of this transient world, who are caught up in the love of glory and fame, pride and arrogance, selfishness, greatness and the love of the world, who think that they are living with these traits in the torment and suffering of this transient realm of property, who spend their lives restlessly in a dungeon, and who are cruel to their own souls by bearing the torment of the eternal abode in the Hereafter, are the people who are cruel to their own souls. Who is more unjust to their own souls than these?
What is said in the video
Surah Al-A'raf, verse 50 The people of Hell call out to the people of Paradise: give us some of your water or of what Allah has provided you. And they say: Allah has forbidden these to the disbelievers. On that Day of Reckoning, Allah Almighty, with the verse, says, doesn't He: there they are without anyone and alone, without anyone and alone; what they will eat there in Hell is the zaqqum tree, what they drink is hot water and pus. Allah protect us, may Allah protect us from such an end. Now those people of Hell, who in the world were used to eating and drinking in pleasure and enjoyment - from that zaqqum tree in Hell, or else when they cannot eat what their nafs desires - man is used to pleasing his nafs with food - they beg the people of Paradise: give us some of your food.
Yes, pass it over to this side. In the world you looked down on them, you enjoyed yourself in front of them, in the world you ate and drank the blessings Allah gave and did not thank Allah; in this case, when you migrate to the world of truth - before all the events came to you, before these events befell you, although He told you, although Allah Almighty told you, you ignored them, and deceived by the world's fleeting few hours of pleasure, if you turn your hereafter into a dungeon, today those are forbidden to you there. They are made forbidden to you. Yes.
We touched on the food of the people of Hell a little in the previous verse too. Allah will feed the people of Hell from the fruit of the zaqqum tree. Which He describes. It is knobbly like the heads of devils, He says. That fruit is bitter when eaten. A person's bowels come to a boil, He says. To a boil, they come close to boiling. In this case it gives him a burning heat. In that heat, hot water, boiling water. And they also say a mixed, a thick substance. That is, pus is given. And it is not in a state to pass through them. In this way they there neither die nor live. There is no death. What is living?
A life spent in pleasure and enjoyment. Yes.
We touched on the food of the people of Hell a little in the previous verse too. Allah will feed the people of Hell from the fruit of the zaqqum tree. In the Holy Quran, when Allah Almighty describes the fruit of the zaqqum tree, that this fruit is knobbly like the heads of devils and bitter, that as they eat from this fruit a burning heat will overcome people and instead of water they will drink boiling water or pus - this He states. They suffer this torment because in the world they denied Allah and declared Allah's clean and lawful provisions forbidden. For this reason these people, longing for their food in the world, will call out to the people of Paradise. Give us some of the blessings, provisions and water Allah has given you, they will say.
The people of Paradise, calling out to the people of Hell, will say: Allah has made these provisions forbidden to the disbelievers. Yes. Just as they see each other on television, just as we talk here, they will see each other. There are video phones. Like a video television - the veil He says will be lifted between them, that veil; they will see each other. Those in Paradise will see Hell, and those in Hell, Paradise. What those in pleasure and enjoyment do, and they will be humiliated. A painful torment, He says, doesn't He, a painful torment. When they see that the people they looked down on are in high ranks in Paradise, there is a painful torment for them.
There is a humiliating torment. A humiliating torment. A bitter torment. Yes. So those who in the world denied Allah and the hereafter, the Day of the Hereafter, who denied their prophets, who associated partners with Allah and sank into the darkness of shirk, who did not heed Allah's commands and did not observe covering, who forgot human honour and dignity - as Allah Almighty says in a verse, they are like four-legged animals that go about (?). Even more astray in their course, He says - those who act according to that verse, those within this cycle: Allah, with His verses, makes their end clear to us, makes it known. How nice. He shows it to us. What does Allah Almighty say? I will not call anyone to account for a matter I did not make heard.
We hear it. Yes. As far as we can - Allah Almighty does not burden us beyond our strength. As far as we can, within our strength, if we remember our Lord, if we worship Him, if we love Him and fear Him, we attain mercy. Yes. Otherwise our situation is very bad. If we follow our nafs, then the world puts a yoke on your neck, looks all rosy to you, and with its alluring look drags you into a swamp. What is that swamp? The world's yachts, the world's palaces, the world's gold, its ornaments - if you get carried away by these, they are a swamp that takes you away. Shouldn't we buy them, Hodja? If you earn it lawfully, buy it - lawfully.
Allah Almighty does not tell you not to buy; He created it for us. But lawfully. But do not put love upon love in your heart. It won't do, he says, guest upon guest. The poet says so. Two loves cannot be in one heart. Just as there cannot be two (?) in one house. What does he say? Guest upon guest won't do. That is, house upon house won't do. So what then? Then there cannot be two loves in the heart either. There will be one love. And that love will be the love of Allah. If you know that everything created, from atom to sphere, is created by Allah, and hand those created things over to Allah and surrender yourself to Him as a servant created by Allah, then (?).
Then you have come to long for your Lord, to love Him. Then you love Him. Yes.
So those who, deceived by fleeting worldly blessings, are carried away by fame and glory, pride and arrogance, ego, grandeur and love of the world, who in the torment and suffering of this fleeting realm of possessions think they live by these traits and spend their life restlessly in a dungeon - people who in the hereafter take on the torment of the (?) home and are unjust to their own nafs, are these people. Who is more unjust to their own nafs than these? People, to their own nafs -
how can a person be so unjust? A person kills a single person. He dies. But if that person had in fact already completed his life in the world, and say, for example, he would have lived 10 more years, 20 more years. He would have lived. (?) Actually his life was complete and he would die like that. Those are causes. It went like this. But if he earned his hereafter, his life in the world would pass on to the hereafter anyway. He passed on from a life of a few hours. It's over. But if a person steps outside Allah's command and turns his back on Allah, even if the two worlds came together, no one could do the harm that person does to himself.
Because, in return for what he earned with his own hands, he bought the torment of Hell. Yes.
