Verily, We brought to them a Book that We explained upon knowledge, and which is a guidance and mercy for a nation of believers.

Tafsir

Allah has sent a Book which He has revealed to mankind, and also a Book which He has revealed with knowledge as a guidance and mercy with the Verses of Allah for a people who believe in Allah and the Qur'an. Allah (swt) has created everything in the universe, from mote to sphere, with knowledge. Everything outside of knowledge is false. Allah has the knowledge to create out of nothing. He creates what He wills. He has sent the Holy Qur'an full of miracles to prove His existence with knowledge. As the ages progress and people find knowledge, Allah continues to introduce His existence to people by proving His Creator and His glory through knowledge.

In this respect, the Holy Quran is full of knowledge. God, who knows best that nothing is a coincidence and who created everything by calculating what the end will be, has sent the Holy Qur'an as a proof of His existence and also as a mercy to mankind, to teach them what they do not know and to bring them out of darkness into light.

What is said in the video

Truly, for a people who believe, as guidance and mercy, We have brought a Book that We explained with knowledge, He says. What is it? The Quran. A Book He explained with knowledge, knowledge. Not superstition. Look, people who do not reason, who are ruled by superstitions, with the words this one and that one says, with words that make no sense, (?) Allah Almighty, and about the Prophet (peace be upon him) spread slanders with hadiths, who know nothing even of themselves, who in this state set out to guide people and pose as scholars. I wonder to what degree these, in their own faith, towards Allah Almighty are responsible?

If they knew that responsibility, that responsibility, nothing outside of knowledge would they accept, knowledge. "Oh Hodja, what do I know about knowledge?" Knowledge is the verses, they have already come; in place of the verse, and things with no verses, with no counterpart in a verse, and by their own minds: supposedly, while crossing the bridge, (?) pulls back one hand, (?), supposedly pulls back his feet, or the Prophet supposedly says from across: "Be peace, be peace, be peace." Oh, these, these, what superstition this is, it fits neither a verse, nor a hadith does it match, nor, how shall I put it, I mean, things people invented, people made a mockery of like this, Jews and Masons deceived people like this, in this way made a mockery of them, dragged you along too, and you too, with such superstitions, (?).

Look what Allah says, look at Allah's verse: truly, for a people who believe, as guidance, guidance, light, light, not darkness, and as mercy; Allah's mercy pours down. Explained with knowledge: knowledge, knowledge, knowledge; knowledge is to know, knowledge is to know oneself, if you do not know yourself, what kind of knowledge is this, he says. Yes, We have brought a Book that We explained with knowledge, He says. There it is, a Book explained with knowledge. The Quran. We kiss it and place it on our heads. The Quran. Knowledge. It is knowledge that lights up the world all over the world anyway.

What does Allah Almighty say? Allahu nûru's-semâvâti ve'l-arz.

What is this? The illuminator of the heavens, He says. Look (?) how they interpret it. The sun rises, they say. Light comes, they say.

Supposedly the sun rises. Supposedly light comes. Supposedly it lights up the heavens. Because the sun went, darkness came. What will happen? Yes. Whereas when Allah Almighty says He is the light of the heavens, the illuminator, the whole universe turning around one another's axis and neither moving away from nor approaching one another, keeping up the order and harmony of its togetherness, that is the light of Allah Almighty's knowledge, His creating with knowledge, knowledge. Yes. That is why everything outside knowledge is false. We have brought a Book that We explained with knowledge, He says.

Then what will your proof be? It will be this Book. What will be the proof of this Book? Knowledge. Knowledge. Knowledge. So if this Book came with knowledge, in no way can human fabrication get into it. Because it is knowledge. Even if human fabrication got in, a person by his own mind, (?), arranges by his own mind, but a verse he cannot arrange. neither (?) damage in its letters nor damage occurs; We sent it down, says Allah Almighty, and We are its guardian until the Day of Judgement, He says. Yes. So again we say, as Yunus Emre said, knowledge is to know. Knowledge is to know oneself. If you do not know yourself, what kind of knowledge is that?

You, without knowledge, inside the circle of ignorance, this one's and that one's superstitions (?) and then you try to throw falsehood over the truth: "this man denies the hadiths," go on, say it. Wow. And he is supposedly a great scholar. He even writes refutations, this man. A person unaware even of his own shadow. Yes.

Allah, moreover, for a people who believe in Allah and the Quran, with His verses has sent a Book He explained with knowledge, as guidance and mercy. Allah Almighty created everything in the universe, from the atom to the sphere, with knowledge. Everything outside knowledge is false. Allah has the knowledge of creating from nothing. He creates what He wills. That is, He says "kun". When He says it, it is. But this too people suppose happens with sound and letters. That is, Allah willed. Let's say this (?) does not exist. Kun. It became this at once. It is not like that. It is not like that.

If there are those short-witted superstitions, you know, they object to these things we are saying too. But in some places they do not know, within (?), among themselves, however much they object, they cannot go very far.

When He says the word "kun", "be", it is the will of Allah Almighty. Whatever He wants to create, He creates. Creating is not hard for Him. Because He is the Creator, He is the one who knows the art of creating. In this case, if Allah Almighty had created with sound and letters, what does He say, look: We created the earth in two days, the heavens in two days, and what is between them in two days; the heavens and the earth and what is between them We created in six days, He says. So, before the life of this world was set up, before the world's time came about, a thousand years of the world being one day of the hereafter, one day, not by the worldly realm but by the realm of the hereafter, in six thousand years Allah Almighty created it. In six thousand years.

So this did not happen with sound and letters. Yes. To you, to you all, I can reveal a secret from the secret of secrets. From the secret of secrets, but from that seventh (?) I can reveal something. In line with the word spoken, I will say a verse, I will say it.

While creating the heavens, the earth and what is between the two, We did not take Satan and his companions as witnesses for Ourselves, He says. Yes. While We created these worlds, Satan and his companions We did not take as witnesses for Ourselves. So, in the creation of some beings, by showing some people some of the traits of the being He created, Allah Almighty, His being the Creator, by showing those people the proof that no being can complain about Him, and that person telling this to Allah's servants, it symbolises that Allah Almighty is free of all deficient attributes, that no created being can say to Allah Almighty, "Why did You create me in this state?" We too are telling you these things.

Yes.

So it is not with sound and letters; it does not happen by saying "kun". I mean, it is His will, He will create, and still it relates to a time. Yes.

Allah has the knowledge of creating from nothing. He creates what He wills. To prove His existence to knowledge, He sent the Holy Quran full of miracles. As the ages advance, as people find knowledge, Allah, proving His creatorship and greatness with knowledge, goes on making His existence known to people.

The discovery of telephones, of inventions, matter, atoms turning in nuclei with neutrons and protons, their giving off frequencies as they turn around one another, and making a sound, and that sound (?) remembering Allah; always, as the ages advance, Allah Almighty shows these to people as miracles. So the Quran is knowledge. There are no such superstitions. Superstition. Oh, supposedly there is the bridge of Sirat. Supposedly he will fall down there. Well, if Allah Almighty made the fire forbidden for a friend (wali) of His, how did you make him cross over the fire? Yes. It is forbidden, after all.

Forbidden to his light. What does Hell say? "My Allah, do not take this servant away from me." My fire he puts out. He will put it out. What is this? It is a word said in a figurative sense: that for these friends of Allah Almighty their light, the fire not touching it. That is, their staying away from the fire. How do you make these cross over the bridge of Sirat over Hell? Oh, they will pass over like lightning. Oh, what will these be? Oh, if we sacrifice many animals, if we sacrifice big ones, sir, it will supposedly take us across the Sirat. Come on, what is a sacrifice? What is an animal, that it should take you across the Sirat?

What will take you across the Sirat? Doesn't Allah Almighty tell you in a verse? Their meat, He says, reaches as far as the ancient house. That is, to the House (Bayt). It reaches as far as there. Neither their lives nor their blood reach Allah. Your worship reaches Allah, He says. Where do you hide these things, for heaven's sake? What people say makes no sense. There they are: people without knowledge, without knowledge and without knowledge, inside the circle of ignorance. Allah's verses, however, are full of knowledge. Which word, which person's arrangement do you bring in place of a verse and say, and by insulting the Prophet you slander him? Will he seize you by the collar tomorrow?

Yes. He will seize those superstitions by the collar tomorrow. A time will come, it is coming. A hadith, this is a hadith too. Listen well. The hadith: a time will come when, although Allah and His Messenger did not say it, they will say "Allah and His Messenger said so", he says. Well then, according to the hadith that says they will say "Allah and His Messenger said so", are you not afraid of this hadith? According to the verse that he does not speak idly, if you said "they said so", are you not afraid of slandering Allah?

Yes.

When you don't know, learn. If you don't know, learn. Break your nafs. Do not deify your nafs. In the religion of Islam, a person is a student from the cradle to the grave. From the cradle to the grave. In this case a person will learn.

Yes.

In this respect the Holy Quran is full of knowledge. That nothing is a coincidence: Allah, who knows everything well and creates by reckoning what the end will be, sent the Holy Quran to people as proof of His existence, and also as a mercy to people, to teach them what they did not know and to bring them out of darkness into light, He sent it. As a mercy to His creation. Allah Almighty sends these. He sends the Quran. With knowledge.
