Tafsir
If a person comes to his senses while pursuing shirk and disbelief, contemplates, recognizes his own Creator, believes in the unity and oneness of Allah, believes in the Hereafter, and becomes acquainted with the light of Islam, he will have attained the mercy of Allah. He will have a reformed soul. After that, do not return to your former state of ignorance, longing for the old ways of darkness and disbelief. Satan and the nafs, your former friends, will surely haunt you. So do not incline to them. Do not create mischief in the earth, and do not turn people against each other by carrying words.
Pray to Allah, fearing Him and hoping for His mercy. Allah's mercy is wide. Whoever invokes Allah, that is, whoever turns to Him and asks of Him, Allah is All-Great. He gives to the one who asks what he wants. It is not in the glory of Allah that someone should ask Him for something and Allah should not give him what he asks for. (Surely Allah's mercy is very near to those who do good.) If a person does something with Allah's mercy in mind and with His pleasure in mind, Allah is not far from him so that He is unaware of that person. His mercy is surely upon that person.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 56, Surah Al-A'raf, verse 56. Do not cause corruption on earth after it has been set right; call upon Allah in fear and in hope of His mercy. Surely Allah's mercy is very near to those who do good. Yes. Do not cause corruption on earth after the period of reform. Do not, He says. You may have caused corruption in the period of ignorance. You may have opposed the religion of Islam. But what does Islam mean? From such kufr, from such idolatry, or from a different ideology, it means attaining the light of Islam. Yes. After it has been set right, He says. That is, after a non-Muslim becomes a Muslim, do not cause corruption on earth anymore, He says. It's over.
You came to know that there is no god but Allah and turned to your Lord. Then do not stir up strife among Allah's servants on earth, do not cause corruption, do not drown the place in mischief, says Allah Almighty. Pray to Allah in fear and in hope of His mercy. Fearing Allah. Because the command that Allah gives, no force or power can turn back. So I say: O man, if your Lord, between these two lips, from a command He has given you, no one can save you. No one can save me either. So we say: my Lord, my Lord, if knowingly or unknowingly we go against You, or not against You but against Your command, if knowingly or unknowingly, following our nafs, or in our helplessness we commit such a sin, Your punishment we fear, O Allah, we say, we fear.
Let us attain Your mercy, attain Your light, free us from this punishment of Yours, O Allah, we say. How beautifully we pray to Allah. He created us in helplessness.
We carry a nafs. Words may come out of our mouths. Knowingly or unknowingly we may do people an injustice.
They then bear a grudge against us. In that case, even if we don't know it, or even if we know it, in helplessness we will have committed a sin. In that case too we will pray, fearing Allah Almighty, hoping for His mercy. Yes, pray in hope. Surely Allah's mercy is very near to those who do good. When you pray like this, because you fear your Lord, because you hope for His mercy, Allah Almighty will not leave you alone. What does He say? Allah's mercy is very near, He says. From where? Near. If you come to Me walking, He says, I come to you running. If you remember Me within yourself, I remember you within My essence, He says.
If you remember Me in a good gathering, I remember you within My essence in such a way, He says. In such good gatherings I remember you. Yes. Allah Almighty, among His righteous servants, among the souls that gain strength, shows you to them like a star in the world. If I tell of Allah. Yes.
While a person runs after violence and kufr, he comes to his senses. If he believes in the hereafter, when he is honoured with the light of Islam, he has attained Allah's mercy. This one has come to possess a nafs that has been set right. He has come to possess a nafs that has been set right. That is, he has become a Muslim. It does not mean that his nafs has become perfect. Only a nafs that has been set right, a nafs honoured with the light of Islam. With the light of Islam. Yes. From now on, longing for the old paths of darkness and kufr, do not go back again to your former states. For surely Satan and the nafs, your old friends, will not leave you alone, He says.
Do not incline toward them anymore. Do not spread your corruption on earth. Do not set people against each other by carrying tales. Corruption.
Pray to Allah, fearing Allah Almighty and hoping for His mercy. Allah's mercy is vast. Whoever responds to Allah, that is, turns to Him, is with Him, binds his heart to Him and with love and affection turns to Him, does not rub his face at any door but His, another door besides Him anyway (?), and remembers Allah Almighty in his heart, that he has turned to Allah fearing Allah Almighty and hoping for Him, for His mercy, Allah (?) His mercy. Whoever responds to Allah, that is, turns to Him and asks from Him, Allah (?). He has no need of anything. He created all beings for us. He gives the asker what he asks, if it is within his destiny.
If not, He still gives it. When? In the hereafter. He surely gives the asker what he asks. And people, He says, asked, He says, and they say "Allah did not give it to me", He says; people are very hasty, He says. That is, if I did not give you a thing that would not serve you in the world, for your own good, had you been hasty and been given what would bring you calamity, you would have got under a burden you could not bear, you would have stepped outside the proving of what kind of person you are, (?) (?). So be patient, He says. Do not be hasty. I will give you what you ask. In return for your patience, in the hereafter, He says.
Do not be hasty. Yes.
So He gives the asker what he asks. It is not befitting Allah Almighty's majesty that someone should ask Him for something and Allah not give the asker what he asks. Surely Allah's mercy is very near to those who do good. If a person acts mindful of Allah's mercy and earning His pleasure, Allah is not far from him, that He would be unaware of that person. His mercy is surely over those people.
