Translation

He said; “Oh my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger who was sent by the Lord of the Worlds.”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) said to Noah, "O my people, there is no error in me, but I am a Prophet sent by the Lord of the worlds. Allah does not hold anyone responsible for what He has not made known to His creatures.

Since this people was a people who had gone beyond the limits in disobeying Allah, Allah gave them warnings without giving them any calamity. When they attributed their deviation to Noah, Allah sent His orders to the people of disbelief through Noah to reform them. However, since this people did not understand the words and would lead the next generations in disbelief and corrupt the generations that would come after them, so that they would not hold Allah (swt) responsible, Allah (swt) addressed them through Hazrat Noah and said to them, "Say to them, 'I am a messenger sent to you by Allah. But I am commanded to convey the commandments of Allah, but I fear the punishment of a great day that will come upon you.

In spite of all these warnings and truth-telling by Hazrat Noah 'alaihis-salâm', these people, whose eyes were blind, whose ears were deaf and whose hearts were hardened, did not stop resisting Hazrat Noah and rejected his Prophethood and excluded him from their midst.

What is said in the video

Yes, he said: O my people, there is no error at all in me. Now Noah is saying this. You know how they come at us too, calling this something fake, how they say it; there is no error in us. Yes, just as history is nothing but repetition, the verses too address the past, the present and the future. He said: O my people, he said: O my people, there is no error at all in me. But I am a messenger sent by the Lord of the worlds. He says it. Believe it if you like, or don't, now. We believe because it is in the Quran, because we are Muslims. But had we been beside Noah back then, would we have believed?

If we gave our covenant well, of course we would have believed and taken our place in his ranks. If, Allah forbid, we had given a bad covenant, we would have fallen into their state and ruined both our world and our hereafter. The world being ruined does not matter. The world will pass anyway. We would have ruined that eternal life. Allah forbid. Allah Almighty, addressing (?) (peace be upon him), said: Say, O my people, there is no error in me. But I am a prophet sent by the Lord of the worlds. Allah holds no one responsible for what He has not made known to His creatures. Allah Almighty holds no one responsible.

Since this people too had gone beyond all bounds in disobeying Allah, before sending them a calamity, Allah had warnings given to them. Because they had gone beyond all bounds. They too had fallen into the misguidance of error. Well, Allah Almighty sent them a prophet so they would come to the path, Noah. Doesn't He know they will not come to the path? He knows. Because Allah has given everyone their own wish as their destiny. So why did He send him? Because He will not call anyone to account for a matter not made heard; that is why He sent him. And He programmed these worlds with a program, and as a result of this program Allah Almighty will let these worlds unfold.

Yes, by attributing their own error to Noah, through Noah, with the people of kufr. Yes, for their reform, Allah Almighty made His commands known through Noah. But this people would not listen, and since by leading the coming generations into kufr they would corrupt the generations after them too, so that they would not hold Allah Almighty responsible, Allah, addressing them through Noah: tell them, I am a messenger sent to you by Allah. But in conveying Allah's commands (?).

But I fear for you the punishment of a great day that will come upon you, he said. Allah Almighty.

Despite Noah (peace be upon him) giving so many warnings and explaining the truth, these people, still with blind eyes, deaf ears and hardened hearts, did not stop resisting Noah; calling Noah's prophethood a lie,

they cast him out from among them. They cast Noah out from among them. Yes.
