“I am proclaiming to you what my Lord has revealed to me, I give advice to you, and from Allah (Allah’s revelations), I know that which you do not know.”
Tafsir
However, Noah did not stop advising his people and continued to inform them of Allah's commands; O my people! I know by revelation from Allah what you do not know. In other words, Allah (swt) informed Noah that Allah (swt) would destroy this people. In this respect, Hazrat Noah, out of pity for his people, did not listen to the advice he gave them. They have continued in their perversity, still traveling on their own swampy paths.
O my people! Allah is the Creator of you and the creator of the worlds. If you disobey Allah, the only One, if you disobey His commands, Allah's calamity is near. I know what you do not know, and I foretell the calamities that will befall you. They did not listen to Noah, even though he told them to believe in me and obey Allah. The people of his people said that Hadrat Noah was again immersed in his old dreams. Seeing Hazrat Noah among them as a madman, they ignored him.
What is said in the video
Yes, we have come to Surah Al-A'raf, verse 62. The meanings of the verses are plain in themselves anyway. We are trying to add a few more hadiths to them. We are trying to support them with other verses. Otherwise, the meanings of the hadiths and verses are plain in themselves.
For example: I convey to you what my Lord has revealed, Noah says. I give you advice. Yes.
And I know, through revelation from Allah, what you do not know, he says. This is plain in itself anyway. If Allah Almighty sent His messenger, what does he say?
I convey to you what my Lord has made known to me; I am a messenger, he says. I am a messenger. I tell you nothing of my own accord, he says. He reveals it to me. And we know what revelation is: Allah Almighty, who is beyond time and space, speaking by way of communication to His servant, who is within time and space. This belongs to our Lord alone. At the same time, Allah Almighty, the meanings of the verses, Allah Almighty, who is beyond time and space, to His servant within time and space, by inspiration making them known.
Don't get confused, let me say it once more. Allah Almighty, who is beyond time and space, by way of revelation, to His prophet within time and space, His verses making known. Allah Almighty, who is beyond time and space, making the meanings of the verses known by inspiration to His saintly servants or scholarly servants within time and space.
To one He makes revelation known; to another He makes known the inspiration of the verse, its meaning He makes known. Don't misunderstand and put the two on the same scale, thinking: look, this one is a prophet too. To one comes revelation; to another, revelation is the verse, the meaning of the verse comes, that is, its explanation. Yes, to His saintly servant as well. In this case, Allah Almighty says this in a verse: Most people do not know inspiration, He says. That is the verse. What was it? Most people do not know inspiration. Again, in a verse, Allah Almighty: Whomever We give knowledge, and that is the meanings of the verse through inspiration.
Whomever We give knowledge, We give wisdom, He says. What is wisdom? Sensing the subtlety of that verse. Being able to grasp what our Lord says there. Yes. That is its wisdom.
I convey to you what my Lord has revealed. I give you advice. And I know, through revelation from Allah, what you do not know, he says. What you do not know.
Yes. In response, Noah did not stop advising his people. He continued to make Allah's commands known to his people. O my people, I know, through revelation from Allah, what you do not know. For my Lord is very compassionate and merciful to His servants. However much you on earth (?) your Lord, since Allah Almighty will not call anyone to account for what He has not made known,
even if you rebel against your Lord, Allah Almighty is doing His part. He made me a messenger to you, He says; He makes it heard. He makes it heard. Yes. That is, Allah Almighty had made known to Noah (peace be upon him) that Allah Almighty would destroy this people. For this reason Noah, pitying his own people, struggling for them, gave advice that his people did not listen to. still moving along the swampy paths they knew, they continued in their error.
What does Noah say? O my people, Allah is the one who created you, and the one who created the worlds. Allah, if you oppose that one Allah, if you do not listen to His commands,
Allah's calamity is near you, he says. That is, just as, about the Prophet (peace be upon him), He says he is alive. Alive. He sent him as a mercy to the worlds.
A mercy came to the worlds. Because he is alive, He says. Although people exceed the limits of My sacred rulings, for the sake of the Beloved of the Almighty, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), I have lifted destructions, He says. In their place I have put calamities, He says. Calamities. And what does He say? We give them two or three calamities a year, He says. Two or three calamities. Don't we see it? Tsunamis. Floods. Whirlwinds, that is, tremors, earthquakes, disasters, disasters, disasters, one after another. Fires keep going. In this case, still they do not say: to Allah. They do not say Allah.
Destruction was lifted for the sake of the Messenger of Allah being alive. Because the word of Allah Almighty does not contradict itself. Had this been something strung together by a human, you would find in it many words that do not agree with one another, He says. Both the Messenger of Allah, to the worlds, wa ma arsalnaka illa rahmatan lil alamin, to the worlds as a mercy He would send, and also, what kind of mercy is it if destructions begin? So those destructions are lifted, and calamities come in their place. Our Lord never speaks words in His verses that would contradict one another. In His verses.
Yes.
O my people! Allah is the one who created you, and the one who created the worlds. If you oppose that one Allah, if you do not listen to His commands, Allah's calamity is near you. I know what you do not know. Why does he know? The Prophet's Lord makes it known to him through revelation. Yes. I am telling you now of the calamities that will befall you. Although he said: Believe me, obey Allah, they did not listen to Noah. The people of his nation said of Noah: he has sunk back into his old state. That is, mad or astray, they said. Among themselves, regarding Noah as a madman, they paid him no heed.
Yes.
