Al-A'raf 63: “Are you surprised that by means of a man, a person comes to you to warn you, with the hope that you abstain and attain mercy?”

Surah Al-A'raf, verse 63: So that you may guard against Allah's punishment and attain His mercy, in that hope, are you amazed that a person has come to you through a man from among you to warn you? He says. How beautifully He says it. Yes. Look what He says. So that you may guard against Allah's punishment and attain His mercy, in that hope, through a man from among you to warn you, are you amazed that a person has come to you? Now, if the verses are opened up in a wider sense, every hundred years Allah Almighty sends a (?), a mujtahid. Every two hundred years He sends a Qutb al-Aqtab. He too is a mujtahid. They remove falsehoods.

The verses (?). But when such a man comes to them from among them to remove falsehood, they are amazed. What do they say? These are fake, they say. These are, well, made up, they say. They start talking about him. They never reflect and think. What is this man talking about? Look, what is he talking about? Does any word come out of his mouth other than about the Creator of the worlds? No. So what is it they are doing? Whims of the nafs, pride and arrogance. Because it goes against their superstitions, they do not use their minds, and reflection, even (?), people in such helplessness. Yes. People who, without using their minds, without even reflecting, fall with the whims of their nafs into the passion of being the leader.

We read the verse once more. So that you may guard against Allah's punishment and attain mercy, in that hope, through a man from among you to warn you, are you amazed that a person has come to you? O my people! Allah Almighty, to you, one who will guard you from Allah's punishment, and so that you may attain Allah's mercy, in that hope. Are you amazed at a man Allah Almighty has sent you? So Allah, bringing prophets from among you like yourselves, His existence to you, commands that Allah, who created the universe, be worshipped. in this verse, it includes the scholars who will come after the prophets.

It supports the verses where He says: the passing of your scholars to the hereafter is like the sun going and darkness coming in its place. Because no prophet will come until the Day of Judgement; with the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), prophethood has been closed. There is no prophet anymore. So what will happen? Allah Almighty will send scholars. So that you do not say: You sent them a prophet, but You sent us nothing. So Allah raises scholars for you through His verses. Scholars, those who enter through the door of that knowledge, those kneaded with Allah's knowledge, and whomever He gives inspiration, We give wisdom. The people of whom He says: whomever We give knowledge, We give wisdom.

And also the people of whom He says: the angels and the scholars bear witness to Allah's existence. These scholars.

The people of whom He says: when creating these scholars, We did not take Satan and his companions as witnesses for Ourselves; these people tell of Allah. Allah's mercy, that His forgiveness and pardon are abundant, that His wrath is severe,

that this world will come to an end, and that finally our return is to our Lord, and after that, for what each person did, (?) deeds, being called to account, that everyone will be called to account for what they themselves earned, Allah Almighty, through these scholars, makes people hear. We call no one to account for what We have not made heard, He says. Yes.

Yes. O my people, give up your stubbornness. Believe me, I am telling you of what Allah has revealed to me. If Allah sends (?) a prophet, He sends a prophet of their own kind. Allah wills that people be guided and find peace. Allah sent us to an unseen world. Here He veiled His Self. By sending you prophets of your own kind, He makes people aware of His existence. If you still do not come to your senses, Allah's punishment is near, he said. What more could he say? He said what he had to say. Yes.
