Tafsir
The wealthy and influential people of his people said to those who followed Shu'ayb, "If you follow Shu'ayb, then you will surely suffer loss. That is, evil will come to you from us. We will torment you. Leave Shu'ayb's followers. They speak in this way because they have wealth, and their wealth is meant to frighten people into doing what they want.
What is said in the video
In verse 90, exactly what was said is spoken here. The disbelieving leaders of his people said: if you follow Shu'ayb, then you will surely be losers. That is, those powerful ones will crush the weak. They will hurt their property, their possessions, their lives. They will seize their property and possessions. I don't know, I mean, they will torment them. The leading wealthy and influential people of his people said to those who followed Shu'ayb: if you follow Shu'ayb, then you will surely be losers. That is, some harm will touch you from us, we will torment you. Leave Shu'ayb alone; their speaking this way, because they were people of wealth, is to make people do what they want by frightening them with their wealth.
In this situation, leaving Shu'ayb (peace be upon him) alone, to continue on their own way, with their own people, and to invite those people, according to their own will, to the way they themselves show and satisfy their egos on their backs: this is the state of these people.
