Al-A'raf 99: Did they feel secure from Allah’s punishment? But no other group, except for those who are at a loss, can feel safe about Allah’s allowance.

Allah Almighty's Surah Al-A'raf, verse 99. We have come to this verse, praise be to Allah.

Do they feel secure from Allah's punishment, it says, that is, at any moment. Do they feel secure from Allah's punishment? But none except the people who are losers; the losers, that is, those who deify their nafs in this world and prefer the hereafter over this world. that is, those who prefer this world over the hereafter. And these are bankrupt in the hereafter,

for their livelihood, that is, for a life of an hour or an hour and a half in this world, loaded with the world, porters. Porters. Yes. None but these porters can feel secure from such a respite being given, it says. They cannot feel secure from Allah giving respite. In the verse: Do they feel secure from Allah's punishment? But none except the people who are losers can feel secure from Allah giving such respite, it says. Allah's righteous servants, those Muslims whose degrees of faith are high, whose state of nafs is high, the believing men and women, the righteous. These can never feel secure from Allah's punishment.

Yes, at any moment, from our Lord, can there be a calamity, an earthquake, a fire, a flood? There can, there can. Sir, you cannot comprehend this. Look, we all watch television. In an instant, from an electrical fire or a factory fire, how many people die? In an instant, they were working there, suddenly a fire broke out, 2-3 people or 5 people, whatever is decreed, pass away there at once, they die. Do they feel secure from Allah's punishment? We cannot be. So we must be cautious. That is, our precaution at every moment is to remember our Lord. It is to carry out His commands. The first condition of the command is entering Islam, and we are all Muslims, His, the first condition for a Muslim is to perform the prayer.

We will do that. We will perform the prayer. When we begin praying, evil deeds, like a snow (?), begin to melt. It begins with prayer.

Just as in cold weather snow falls layer upon layer. It rises to one metre, one and a half metres, two metres. This year, as you know, in the Bitlis region houses were buried too. And of course it does not melt all at once. What happens? A little warm, a little cold, a little warm, a little cold. That melts it slowly, slowly. Prayer is exactly like this. Sometimes you slip into the ways of the nafs. Sometimes, when you pray and worship turned toward Allah, you are cleansed of your sins. Going a little more toward the nafs, being cleansed a little more of your sins, as you slowly melt that load of sin, what do you do then?

Because it has become lighter for you, you begin to rise. Just like climbing the steps of a staircase.

With ease. In this way you learn to master your nafs. You understand Satan's temptation. You do not go along with him. That is why Allah Almighty, that His Being always be remembered, that His punishment can reach us anytime, anywhere, and that in this situation we remember our Lord much and ask forgiveness, He makes known to us with these verses. No human can feel secure from the punishment Allah will give. That is, where, when and what punishment He will give people, people cannot know. But by saying 'none except the people who are losers', Allah Almighty makes known that these people are in ignorance, blind and so on, and at the same time devoid of understanding.

Who are these people? Such people are either those who live ignorant within Islam or, accordingly, those who have deified their nafs, living as non-Muslims.

Yes, as we also explained in the verses above, the knowledge of this universe is with Allah Almighty. Because these worlds are programmed until the Day of Judgement. What will happen, where and when, is with our Lord. In the verse too it says, the keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. So what will happen until the Day of Judgement, where, when, what He will do, Allah Almighty knows. Yes, as we also explained in the verses above, the knowledge of this universe is with Allah Almighty. All the events that will happen in this universe are programmed second by second until the Day of Judgement. At what time, where, when an event will happen, Allah Almighty knows.

Yes. It is not possible for people to know this.

But let us put a point here. What are we saying? It is not possible for people to know this. This applies in general. In general. Exceptions do not break the rule. For example, Allah Almighty shows some of His servants where, when, what will happen. These have then shown a karamah. These are exceptions, these are karamat. For example, we sometimes hear, a man says, tomorrow I will (?), I will go, he says. He gets ready, and truly at that hour he goes. Although the keys of the unseen are in His hand, He makes some things known to some servants. Yes. That is, He shows them from the programmes. These are karamat.

But since we speak of the general, within the general religious ruling, religious ruling, we say it is not possible for people to know this. That is, when, where, what calamity our Lord will give. Because the keys of the unseen are with Allah. So when it says 'none except the people who are losers', their feeling secure from punishment: other than the community that denies Allah and wants to convince themselves that such an event will not happen, others cannot feel secure from the punishment coming from Allah. Apart from those non-Muslims and those who deny Allah's verses, no one, even a Muslim with the weakest degree of faith, these cannot feel secure from Allah's punishment.

Yes.

So this denying people, with their not believing in Allah and the hereafter and having no strength or proof in their hands, defy Allah, and if they rebel against Him, their words are taken seriously and people follow after them. Can these be believed? Such people? They have no proof in their hands. And these people talk in twists and turns. Now I watch some documentaries, I love documentaries, the animal world. There it sometimes says, this animal, imaginary of course, so many million years ago was like this, then slowly in the water it became like that. Then it came out onto land and changed like this.

But no Allah at all. No Allah. It became like that. And it defined itself this way. Good heavens, Allah Almighty created 17,000 worlds in this realm. 17,000 worlds. And each other, to clean this world, to filter it. With no Allah, how did this animal define itself this way on its own? Who created this? How did that animal make itself change?

Now, these people, I truly describe these people as having no reason, devoid of reason, poor people.

Look, since Adam, thousands of years have passed. We say five thousand years before Christ, three thousand years (?). And two thousand years after Christ. Have you been able to see any creature change? Starting from Adam, which, before Christ, when you go back I don't know how many thousand years, have you ever seen the human race undergo change? or have you seen any animal undergo change? Today these people are in such contradictions with themselves, do you want proof? Since they cannot change the genes, since they cannot change those DNAs, of those animals, with those DNAs, those genes together, how do you, saying these animals changed themselves, with this science contradict yourself and disgrace and humiliate yourself?

Yes. These people accept that disgrace, that humiliation, but they do not accept saying Allah. So in this case, people so rebellious toward Allah and full of hatred, when they are left to eternal punishment in hell, do they deserve it, or do they not? They deserve it. Of course they deserve it. Yes.

Would a person believe what such poor people say? Would one follow after them?

So Allah giving people respite does not mean being secure from His punishment. His giving respite.

In one verse too, We, it says, raise those criminals in the positions they are in to the highest rank so that they complete their disbelief. So that what kind of people they are, and that they are at the peak of disbelief, they make themselves witness to it. Yes. He will reach that rank so that he climbs to the peak of disbelief. Allah, who sends every soul to the material world to make it witness to itself, every soul... Allah, who sends every soul to the material world to make it witness to itself, according to the number of humans He created, according to the people who will come until the Day of Judgement and all beings in the material world, has programmed the material world.

That is, from now until the Day of Judgement, which people will come at which time, which will be taken from the barzakh, and in the barzakh how many more people remain, Allah knows that. Accordingly, those who will come to the material world will also complete their lifetimes, and within those lifetimes, living their own lives along with those programmes, they will define what kind of people they are.

Within this programme, while each person lives his destiny in proportion to the covenant he gave, they fill a certain time, that is, fill their lifetimes, fill a certain time; without them making themselves witnesses before Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty does not make these people die. Yes. Did you think you would die without proving what kind of people you are, then? Everyone lives out their wishes according to the covenant they gave. When the time comes for all of them to be destroyed together, Allah wipes them off the face of the earth. Like the other peoples, all with the same mindset, they asked for the same time, and after not knowing themselves within the same events, they ask Allah Almighty for calamity too, and deny His prophets as well.

And Allah Almighty says: if you want it so, (?) I have given it to you. Their (?) sinks. That is why Allah Almighty, before destroying such people and removing them, giving them time within their filth is so that they make themselves witnesses before Allah Almighty. Here, I am such a man, he says. In this situation, death through calamity from Allah Almighty can come to us at any moment. Therefore no one can be secure from the calamities Allah Almighty will give. Yes. No one can be secure from the calamity our Lord will give. But who are those who feel secure? Non-Muslims.
