Moses said; “Oh Pharaoh! I am a Prophet who has been sent by the Lord of the Worlds.”
Tafsir
Hazrat Moses addressed Pharaoh and said, "O Pharaoh, I am a Prophet sent by the Lord of the worlds. Believe in me and submit to Allah. There is no god but Allah. You are a servant of His creation.
O Pharaoh, you showed yourself to your people as a god and made them worship you. Repent and turn from this and submit to the Lord of the worlds. He is most merciful and most forgiving. And declare to your people that you are not God. He reported the commandments of Allah to Pharaoh.
What is said in the video
Moses said: O Pharaoh, I am a prophet sent by the Lord of the worlds.
Now, from before, from the earlier verses, if we recall: The astrologers say: a boy will come from the people of the Children of Israel and will seize your throne.
You might put a question like this to me: Hodja, weren't the keys of the unseen in Allah's hand? How did these astrologers know this? A good question. Maybe it doesn't occur to you, but I also ask myself the questions that wouldn't occur to you.
Until the Prophet (peace be upon him) came into the world, Allah Almighty, in this universe that He created, created constellations in these heavens. Constellations. The jinn would climb up to these constellations and listen to the angels' talk.
And from their talk they would come back and tell these astrologers. Now, some people would seek refuge with the jinn, and some jinn with people. The jinn who sought refuge with people: these astrologers, as we call them, those fortune-tellers; they are mentioned as fortune-tellers. Astrologers. What these jinn told them, they would tell in turn. These would eavesdrop in the realm of malakut. What they stole from the angels' talk they would tell to people. That is, they would tell the people they followed, these astrologers. Now, from the time the Prophet (peace be upon him) came into the world, they, that is, the jinn, were forbidden to climb up to these constellations.
It was forbidden. In this situation, when they climb up there and try to eavesdrop again, a shihab, a star, as it is called, pursues him. A beam of flame. They call it a shooting star, you know; that is not a star shooting. Here, where that jinn climbed up to eavesdrop, a beam of flame pursuing him, (?). So in this situation, astrology came to an end. Well, didn't that contradict the verse of Allah Almighty?
The keys of the unseen were in Allah's hand. Now, the things Allah Almighty will make known, these things outside the unseen that He will make known, how will He make them known? There is no prophet either. So for some events He will prepare the time. For example, like the jinn climbing up to the realm of malakut and listening to the talk. Well, so the astrologers tell this talk to Pharaoh. And Pharaoh was killing all the boys born among the Children of Israel and letting the girls go free. Thereupon Allah Almighty shows Moses' mother, in a dream, what she should do. Put him in a basket and (?) into the Nile.
They interpret the verse wrongly at that point. "An enemy to him and an enemy of Mine," it says, "shall take him."
That is, the one hostile to him, because Allah (?) him, "the one who is My enemy," it says, "shall take him." An enemy to him, that is, the one who is an enemy to Moses and an enemy to Me. Or else, "let the one to whom I am an enemy take him," it says. That part, anyway, we are correcting. An enemy to Moses? The one who is an enemy to Allah. Otherwise Allah is not an enemy to Pharaoh; Allah is not an enemy to His servants. With justice He will give them the recompense of what they earned, in return for what they did. Now in this case, if Allah Almighty is going to send Moses as a prophet, of course no one will be able to kill him.
A woman from Pharaoh's household there takes (?), raises him, they say "adopt him," and what was to happen comes about. He truly becomes a prophet, and Pharaoh's throne slips from his hands too. Because he had turned his back on many warnings, on Allah Almighty, Pharaoh deserves that destruction. So Moses said: O Pharaoh, I am one sent by the Lord of the worlds, a prophet.
Of course, until these events happen, many events take place, until he becomes a prophet.
He sees someone from another people fighting with his people. As soon as he pushes him, the man dies. He flees. He takes refuge with the prophet Shuayb. There he marries his daughter. Then, as he returns to Egypt, in the sacred Tuwa, with Allah Almighty he speaks. And he receives prophethood. After that also Aaron, his elder brother, who is of the same father, (?). Well, they, as Allah's messengers, begin to convey the truth to people. So Moses, addressing Pharaoh, said: O Pharaoh, I am a prophet sent by the Lord of the worlds. Believe me and submit to Allah. There is no god but Allah. You too are a servant He created, he says.
Allah created all these worlds. Indeed, Pharaoh even says: Pharaoh: Where is your Allah? And he: Everywhere. In the sky. He says, everywhere.
He says to Haman, Haman, his vizier: Build me a staircase of baked brick, he says. Let me climb up to that sky, he says. Let me get Moses' Allah, he says. He has a tower built, a tower. Well. And he begins searching for Moses' Allah. As if Allah were only Moses'; He is the Lord of all the worlds. The Allah of the worlds. Yes. O Pharaoh! You presented yourself to your people as a god. To his people; he also made his people worship him. Now repent, and from this state of yours, wholeheartedly submit to the Lord of the worlds. He is most merciful and most forgiving. And declare to your people that you are not a god, he said.
He conveyed Allah's commands to Pharaoh. Yes.
