Upon this, Moses threw his staff to the ground and it immediately became a clear serpent.

Tafsir

Allah is omnipotent with His knowledge. If Allah wills something, He creates it. Allah, who sent Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' as a Prophet to Pharaoh, proves His existence by making His servants prove their existence by showing them miracles through His messengers whom He invites to Himself, at the same time as the Prophets are close to Allah. So Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', as a miracle, threw his staff at Pharaoh and it became a dragon.

What is said in the video

Thereupon Moses threw his staff to the ground, and at once it became a plain dragon, it says in the verse. Surah Al-A'raf, verse 107. Yes.

Yes, I'll take it.

In Surah Al-A'raf, verse 107: Thereupon Moses threw his staff to the ground. At once it became a plain dragon. Moses (peace be upon him), in Tuwa, in that sacred Tuwa, when he saw Allah Almighty in the form of a fire, when He said, "O Moses, I am your Lord," Moses was afraid and began to flee. Backwards.

Moses (peace be upon him), from Shuayb (peace be upon him), takes his leave. Travelling with his wife and children, he sees a fire in the desert. He says to his children: Wait for me here. Perhaps there is a person by the fire. He can both describe our way to us, and maybe fire will be brought to you from there, so you can warm yourselves, he says. Because deserts are cold at night. Then, by the fire, (?), when it says "I am your Lord," he takes fright and begins to flee. "Don't flee, O Moses, truly I am your Lord," He says. "Come here," He says. (?). Moses comes back. When he comes near Allah Almighty: "O Moses, throw the staff in your hand to the ground," He says. He throws the staff; it becomes a dragon.

Again Moses takes fright. "Don't be afraid," He says. "Take it in your hand," He says. "Take it in your hand." He takes it. It becomes a staff again. "So, I am your Lord," He says. "I will send you to Pharaoh," He says. So there, that the staff will become a dragon, he knows; he will show a miracle from Allah; at once he throws down the staff in his hand again, his first miracle; well, it becomes a dragon. Allah Almighty, with His knowledge, has power over all things; if Allah wills a thing, He creates it.

What does Allah Almighty say? When We (?) to create a thing, We only say to it "Be," He says, but people think this is with sound and letters, and "Allah said Be, and it was"; this, well, in that way they accept it, whereas (?) from our Lord does not come about by sound and letters in this case. If He created the earth in two days, the heavens in two days and what is between them in two days, and His will is to create, He says, I created it in six days. If a thousand years of this world are like one day of the hereafter, then by this world's measure He created it in six thousand years, that means.

Yes. In this (?), that person, of that secret's secret, looking into it, that it is not (?) with sound, that Allah is the Creator, and how He programmed the beings He created for the duties they would perform in the finest way, and in what way no creature can complain of Allah's assignment regarding the duty it will perform; this, through what He does, to man, to some, He shows. Why does He show it? So that they tell people of Allah's power. And in the verse: When We created these worlds, We did not take Satan and his companions as witnesses for Ourselves, He says. How beautifully He puts it. So there are those He took as witnesses.

Among people, while creating these worlds, some, some of His creations, to those people, how He created them, not their essence, not their essence.

The creation of that created thing in such a way that it can in no way, about the duty it will perform, complain to Allah Almighty; how He created it complete and perfect in the action it will perform, He shows. Yes. I am a witness to this, that (Allah forbid) a person in such places cannot lie. If I had lied, it would anyway be evident from the words I have spoken. That's why, especially, from the mouths of people who long for Allah no lie comes out. Yes.

So Moses throws the staff to the ground, and at once the staff becomes a dragon.

Allah Almighty, with His knowledge, has power over all things. If Allah wills a thing, He creates it. Yes. To Pharaoh, as a prophet, Allah, who sent Moses (peace be upon him), through the prophets' closeness to Allah, and at the same time, Allah, through His messengers by whom He invites His servants to Himself, makes His existence proven by showing them miracles. And so Moses (peace be upon him), as a miracle, throwing his staff before Pharaoh: it is the staff becoming a dragon.

He throws the staff, and the staff becomes a dragon.
