The elders of Pharaoh's people, the wealthy ones, said to Pharaoh, 'Detain him and his brother. That is to say, detain Moses and his brother Aaron, who helped Moses, and send collectors to the cities. By collectors, I mean send messengers to the cities to gather the most famous magicians. Let them gather the magicians there and bring them here. When these magicians defeat them, their trickery and evil will be revealed. Then it will be verified whether he has eyes on your throne or not.

What is said in the video

In Surah Al-A'raf, verse 111, they said: detain him and his brother, and send gatherers to the cities. That is, let them bring the greatest of all the magicians there are, and let them face each other. Let's see which one is stronger. Yes.

The chiefs of Pharaoh's people, the wealthy ones, said to Pharaoh: detain him and his brother. That is, detain Moses and his brother Aaron (peace be upon him), who helped Moses, and send gatherers to the cities. What is meant by gatherers: send messengers to the cities to gather the most famous magicians. Let them gather the magicians there and bring them here. When these magicians defeat them, (?) will come to light. Then it will be confirmed whether or not he has his eye on your throne. Yes. Let them put him, Moses, out of the way, he says. And in that case they will prove that they are liars, tricksters, magicians, that he is not a prophet.

Supposedly the magicians will win, and in that case they will put Moses out of the way. If a person does not believe in Allah, his nafs naturally embraces every kind of temptation and intrigue, every kind of thing that would bring out the nafs's due outside the truth.
