Al-A'raf 115: (The sorcerers said); “Oh Moses! Will you be the first to throw or will we be the ones?”

Translation

(The sorcerers said); “Oh Moses! Will you be the first to throw or will we be the ones?”

Tafsir

The magicians were so confident that they turned to Moses and said, "O Moses! Will you show a magic trick first or shall we show it to you? They leave it to Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' to decide about the use of words and magic.

These magicians, who thought everything was magic and illusion, were people who lived in ignorance of Allah's Wahdat. Since Allah knows who will aspire to His Hidayet to which He invites people, He will show it to those who are heedless, as an example of a miracle, a miracle within a miracle, and they will be granted Hidayet.

What is said in the video

In this situation the sorcerers (?) to Moses. The sorcerers: O Moses, will you throw first, or shall we be the ones to throw? they said. And they will show their magic. With the ropes in their hands they will deceive people's eyes and show them as monsters.

You know, there is no magic without entering into kufr. They will enter into kufr and together with the devils, together with the devils, by deceiving people's eyes, the magic they have done to people, in this way, as if they themselves were showing a miracle, Allah protect us, they establish (?) over them. In this situation the sorcerers ask Moses. O Moses, will you throw, or shall we be the ones to throw?

The sorcerers seem so sure of themselves. Turning to Moses: O Moses, will you show some magic first? Or shall we show it? And so the decision on speaking and using magic they left in favour of Moses (peace be upon him). They are very confident in themselves.

These sorcerers, who take everything for magic and eye-deception, heedless of Allah's oneness, are people who live unaware of themselves. Allah is such that Allah, knowing who will seek the guidance to which He invites people, for those in heedlessness, as an example of a miracle, will create a miracle within a miracle and show it, and these will be granted guidance. A miracle within a miracle.
