Translation

And We revealed to Moses and said; “Throw your staff!”. And behold, it catches and swallows that which they had fabricated.

Tafsir

Hazrat Musa (Moses) was also a bystander and watched these events. Finally Allah (swt) revealed to Hazrat Musa: O Moses! Throw your staff. When Hazrat Musa (as) threw the staff, it caught and swallowed the magic that these magicians had invented and deceived people with. In the face of this sight, people believed that Hazrat Moses was the true Prophet. But they could not believe because of Pharaoh's fear and because some of them did not like it.

This is the helplessness of those who challenge Allah (swt). People who see nothing but their own existence, when they have no means, when they have nothing, when they see in themselves a being like an angel, and because of their pride and greatness, they deify their nafs, and their eyes see nothing but their own existence. They are in frustration while they are living the life of this world, and they are in frustration in the Hereafter when they are subjected to eternal torment.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-A'raf, verse 117 we have come to. In the face of these events Moses too stayed a spectator, watching them. Because Moses had already experienced these events before. Where did Moses experience them? He remembers the first time there. He experienced it in the presence of his Lord. In the holy Tuwa. O Moses! When He said: Throw what is in your hand, it crawled in the form of a monster, a snake, and Moses was afraid. Do not fear, O Moses! Take it in your hand, He said. When he took it in his hand, it returned to its former state. So by the Lord, beforehand, as instruction, that he would be tasked with this matter, since our Lord knew it, He accustomed him to it beforehand.

So in this situation too, Moses looks on as a spectator.

Finally Allah Almighty revealed to Moses (peace be upon him): O Moses, throw the staff in your hand. When Moses (peace be upon him) threw the staff, the magic these sorcerers had fabricated and the way they deceived people's eyes, it caught and caught and swallowed.

So at this sight the people, that Moses was a true prophet, came to believe, but out of fear of Pharaoh, and some because it did not suit them, they did not accept faith. Because the life of this world seemed very sweet to them. In fact, since they gave their covenant as deniers, their covenant their whole lives and their paradise being this world, the hereafter they did not care about, and onto a few hours of worldly life all the torment of eternal bliss, because they agreed to load it, these, on Pharaoh, on Pharaoh's worldly goods, fixing their eyes, did not believe. They even egged Pharaoh on.

Yes, so those who challenge Allah Almighty, their helplessness: while having no means in hand, owning nothing, seeing in themselves, in themselves, a being like the accursed one and deifying their nafs out of pride and grandeur, people whose eyes see nothing but their own existence, both while living the life of this world are in loss, and in the hereafter they buy the eternal abode of torment. Yes.

So when Moses threw the staff in his hand, the spells that they, those sorcerers, had made and those ropes with which they bewitched people's eyes, the cords, it swallowed one by one, and the people there understood that Moses was a true prophet. But
