Tafsir
In response to their rebellion, Allah (swt) gave them many calamities to bring them back to themselves. First, He gave them a deluge of rain and floods from the sky in large grains. Then He infested them with locusts. These locusts were in such swarms that they could enter their mouths and noses. Then insects, frogs, and frogs, and then He made it rain blood from the sky on them. This people drank blood instead of water, yet they were arrogant.
It is narrated that when Allah (swt) gave the flood to Pharaoh and his subjects, Pharaoh's palaces and those who followed him were submerged in water. Hazrat Musa and his people were not affected by this flood. The houses of Hazrat Musa and his followers remained dry. Pharaoh and his subjects appealed to Hazrat Moses and said, "If you remove this calamity from us, we will believe in you and your God. With the prayer of Hazrat Moses, this calamity was removed from them. Again, they went astray and disbelieved in Allah when they attained prosperity.
Secondly, Allah sent locusts to them. They again appealed to Hazrat Moses to save them from this plague. They said, "If you save us from this calamity, we will believe in your Allah. With the prayer of Hazrat Moses, these calamities were removed from them. But this people continued to disbelieve in Allah in their error.
Thirdly, he gave them pests such as ticks, whereupon they again applied to Hazrat Musa and said, 'O Musa: If you remove this affliction from us, we will believe that you are a Prophet. Again, with the prayer and blessing of Hazrat Moses, this pestilence was removed from them. But this fierce disbelieving people broke their word again.
Fourthly, Allah had afflicted them with frogs, and they were afflicted with their food and their bodies. They again approached Hazrat Musa and said that they would believe in his Prophethood if they were saved from this affliction. Hadrat Moses prayed and saved them from this frog pestilence. But this people again broke their promise and disbelieved in Allah.
Fifth, Allah rained blood on them from the sky. Blood flowed from streams and fountains. Those who believed in Moses found clean water. But in the hands of those who took their water, it became blood. They applied to Hazrat Moses again: "O Moses! Save us from this disease and we will believe in you. With the prayer of Hazrat Moses, they were freed from this disease. But they went astray again.

Surah Al-A'raf, verse 133: And We sent upon them, as separate miracles, the flood, locusts, vermin, frogs and blood. Yet they were arrogant and became a sinful people, says Allah Almighty.
When the Jews took the water, they took it as water. From the hands of the Jews, when Pharaoh's subjects or those who rebelled against Allah wanted to take that water and drink it, it turned to blood in their hands. These were Allah's miracles. Against the rebellion Pharaoh and his people committed by going against Allah and not recognizing Him, Allah Almighty, to bring them to their senses, gave them many afflictions.
After that He afflicted them with a locust invasion.
First, with a flood, He sent rain in large drops from the sky and the disaster of floods. After that He afflicted them with locusts, with a locust invasion. These locusts were so many, they reached the point of getting into their mouths and noses. After this, vermin, frogs, and after that a rain of blood He poured upon them from the sky. This people drank blood instead of water. Yet, not coming to their senses, they were arrogant. It is narrated that when Allah Almighty sent the flood upon Pharaoh and his subjects, every place was left under floods.
Pharaoh — the palaces of that boastful Pharaoh and those who followed him were left under water.
Moses, Moses, well, and his people — this flood disaster did not touch them. Our Lord's miracle, in the same place. Rain falls from the sky just like the flood of Noah. Pharaoh's palaces and subjects are left under water, but the Jews, although in the same place, are not touched. An example of this, a more miraculous example, at the Red Sea — with Moses splitting the sea, the two seas parting, and him passing through between them, Allah Almighty creates the same events.
Yes, Moses and his people — his people's houses stayed dry. Pharaoh and his subjects turned to Moses: if you lift this affliction from us, we will believe in you and in your Allah, they said. Through Moses's prayer this affliction was lifted from them. Again they fell into error; once relieved, they denied Allah. Second, Allah Almighty sent them locusts. Again, to be rid of this affliction, they turned to Moses. From this affliction some — well, if you save us, we will believe in your Allah, they said. Through Moses's prayer this affliction too was lifted from them. But this people again, in their errors, denied Allah.
Third, He gave them vermin like ticks. Speaking of ticks, it reminds me. Me too, a tick (?). Two days ago they removed it, but the head part stayed inside. They took that out too. God willing — they did a blood test. Tomorrow we will go for another blood test. God willing, it is not poisonous. And if it is poisonous, (?) — before that hour, that minute comes, it does not run out. If the lifespan (?) is so, so it will be. If not, there is still time. We will live. Yes.
Second, He gave them vermin like ticks. Thereupon, again turning to Moses: O Moses, if you lift this affliction from us, in your prophethood, that you are a prophet, we will believe, they said. Again, by the blessing of Moses's prayer, this affliction was lifted from them. But this afflicted, unbelieving people again broke their word. Yes.
Fourth, Allah set frogs upon them. Frogs. They swarmed over their food and over them. Turning again to Moses, they said that once they were rid of this affliction, they would believe in Moses's prophethood. Moses prayed and freed them from this plague of frogs. But this people again did not keep their word and denied Allah. Fifth, Allah rained blood upon them from the sky. Blood flowed from streams and fountains. Those who believed in Moses found clean water. But those who took from their water — in the hands of those who took it, that water turned to blood. Again they turned to Moses: O Moses, save us from this plague, now we will believe in you, they said.
Through Moses's prayer they were freed from this plague, but again they returned to error.
Yes.
