Translation

We wrote for Moses the advice on the tablets and all its explanation. (And We said) Follow these strongly and ordain your people to take these with the best manner. Soon, We will show to you the home of those who went astray.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) explained the meanings of the writings on the tablets by instructing Hazrat Moses on how to behave and how to give advice.

Allah (swt) says to Hazrat Musa: Keep these commandments firmly, that is, fulfill them. Do not make concessions to them in return for what anyone says. First you should rule with these commandments so that you can be an example for them. Then let them be judged.

And let none of your people compromise with any of Our Verses, so that those who come after you may not rule by it and fill the earth with mischief and corruption.

Saying, "Soon We will show you the abode of those who have gone astray"; According to this verse, this people are in a test, and it declares the test of whether they will obey Allah's commands or not.

The place referred to in this verse as the land of the wayward is Jerusalem. In Damascus and Jerusalem there is the tribe of Amelika, who were the people of their time and dominated those areas. They went astray and became a people who worshipped idols. Allah (swt) points to this town and shows them their homeland through the rehabilitation of Jerusalem and Damascus. However, they did not dare to make war with the people there and as a punishment they lived for a long time, forty years, in the Sinai peninsula, where they died. Their children and grandchildren dominated Jerusalem and Damascus.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-A'raf, verse 145: of the writings on the tablets the admonition and the explanation of all of it We wrote for Moses. That is, the words "for Moses", this is not meant as covering Moses himself, Moses; He says: whichever people He sent Moses to as prophet, for that people We wrote it. Had He said instead "We wrote it for mankind", the Torah would have remained valid until the Day of Judgment. Aren't the verses in it valid? A few admonitions in it. These admonitions, let's see, let's read the admonitions. So, what are these admonitions?

Surah Al-Baqarah,

of 82, the 3rd verse and the 83rd verse; that is, the Ten Commandments are right here. Eight of them, these admonitions, are within this verse 83. Once We, from the Children of Israel: you will worship none but Allah; 1. to parents, 2. to near relatives, 3. to orphans, 4. to the poor you will do good, took a pledge so; 5. and speak kindly to people, 6. perform the prayer, 7. give the zakat, We had commanded. Of course, here "We had taken a pledge" is explained wrongly; that wrong explanation we are correcting, those. But this is the admonition. Eight of them are here. And two of them are within verse 84.

O Children of Israel, that you would not shed one another's blood, that you would not drive one another out of your homes, We had taken a pledge from you, it says, Allah protect us. Taking such a pledge, and then Allah Almighty, toward those who do not keep this word, would have committed a deficiency in His Essence. Whereas, We had told you, it says. We told you. But you did not keep to it. Well, Allah Almighty gives people life with His sharia rulings. Whoever keeps to it keeps to it, whoever does not, does not. Everyone receives reward and sin in return for what they did. Yes. Not driving one another from your homeland, (?) we had taken a pledge from you.

Seeing everything, you had in the end accepted these, it says, Allah protect us. The real mistake is this: (?) witnesses. Now, the Ten Commandments. Here: the admonition and the explanation of all the writings on the tablets, for Moses We wrote. That is, for his people. And We said: hold these firmly. And command your people to take the best of it. Soon We will show you the abode of those who have gone astray, it says. Yes.

Soon He will show the abode of those who have gone astray.

These will set themselves against Allah. To Moses,

there, "Allah and you, go and fight," they say. "Win the war there, then we will go," they will say. That's all. So, in return for the blessings given and the path shown to them, their preferring the world over Allah and the hereafter. Allah Almighty, by teaching Moses the meanings of the writings on the tablets and making known how to act and how he is to give admonition, has explained it. Allah Almighty says to Moses: hold these commands firmly, that is, carry them out. Make them no concession in response to what anyone says; first you must govern yourself by these commands, so that you set them an example, then let them govern themselves.

Let those in your people also make no concession on Our verses to anyone, so that, yes, those who come after you too, governing themselves by this, do not drown the earth in corruption and (?). His saying "Soon We will show you the abode of those who strayed from the path", according to this verse, makes known that this people is being tested, and, of whether they will heed Allah's commands or not, it must be understood as declaring the test.

The place pointed to in this verse as the abode of those who have gone astray is Jerusalem. In Damascus and Jerusalem there are the Amalekites, the people of that time living there and ruling those regions. They had become a people who had gone astray and worshipped idols. Allah Almighty, with this (?) pointing, with the (?) of the regions of Jerusalem and Damascus, is showing them their homeland. But they did not dare to fight the peoples there, and as punishment they lived where they were, in the Sinai Peninsula, for a long time, about 40 years, and they died there. Allah Almighty punished them, and within this punishment they were, in that Sinai Peninsula, confined, in the Sinai desert.

Their children, together with David, left from there. They lived in the Sinai Peninsula for a long time, about 40 years, and they died there. Their children and grandchildren came to rule Jerusalem and Damascus. Yes.
