However, the deeds of those who deny Our verses, and deny that they will reach the hereafter, will go in vain. Would they be punished for anything else but the deeds they are doing?

Tafsir

If man forgets his Creator, does not see His blessings, associates partners with Allah, denies the Verses of Allah and does not believe in the Hereafter, then all the good deeds of such people are in vain. One of the great sins is denying Allah and associating partners with Him. Those who go to the Hereafter as unbelievers and disbelievers will not be able to pay for the sin of disbelieving in Allah, even if they collect all the good deeds and good deeds they have done on earth. Therefore, their good deeds and good deeds will have been in vain. These are the losers.

(Shall they be punished for anything other than what they used to do?) Allah is the Judge of Judges. Every iota of good and every iota of evil that people do is written down. So when these people, the people who disbelieve in Allah (swt), are punished for their deeds, they will be punished for what they have done. Allah does not charge any human being with anything other than what he has earned.

Allah (swt) does not attribute to a human being a crime that no human being has committed. Even if that person is the worst enemy of Allah on earth, even if he associates shirk with Allah, Allah will not punish him one iota more than what he has done.

Therefore, if every soul will pay for what it has done, no human being will be able to accuse Allah of any crime. At the same time, he will not be able to accuse him of deficiency.

What is said in the video

Whereas the deeds of those who deny Our verses and the meeting with the hereafter have come to nothing. How beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. They are in the state of a (?), (?) merchant. That is, by merchant we mean: in the old days traders brought goods with caravans and sold them. The goods they brought were sometimes sold more cheaply in that country, and they couldn't take the goods back either. They would hand the goods over there for half the price they paid and make a loss. All they were left with was the hauling. A bankrupt merchant. Yes, whereas the deeds of those who deny Our verses and the meeting with the hereafter have come to nothing. Will they be punished for anything other than the deeds they used to do? Never.

That is, whatever you did, you will see the recompense of it. We are not going to give you an extra punishment of Our own accord either. Beyond what you did, We will not (?) question you, He says. You will be punished only for what you did. This is justice itself. Allah's justice. He is the judge of judges. Yes.

Man forgets his Creator. He does not see the blessings He gave. If he associates partners with Allah, denies Allah's verses and does not believe in the hereafter, all the good works such people have done have gone to waste.

How beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. All the things they have done have all gone to waste. Because if he denies a single verse of Allah, (?) the prophets (?).

if he denies the prophets,

if he denies Allah, if he denies the hereafter, these go as disbelievers. As disbelievers. And they see the punishment for what they did. In this case, even if these people made the world's greatest inventions, flooded the world with light,

brought all people to salvation, even if it were in their hands to bring them to salvation, their denying Allah, their denying the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), or by his denying a verse, a verse from the Quran, (?), the rewards they have earned within this world, not this world, but if there were another world, another world, and he had as much reward again, all of it would weigh light next to that sin. It would have gone to waste. So: all the good works they have done have gone to waste, it says. Accordingly, in a verse Allah Almighty says the following. They, at that Great Tribunal, in Our presence, if they had this world full of jewels and another world full, would want to give it to Allah as ransom and be saved, He says.

They would want to give it as ransom and be saved. So Allah Almighty has no need of the world and of these things He created. Because He created. He creates what He wills. Neither of ransom nor of anything else does He ever stand in need from His creations. That this is so, He shows us with the attribute Hayy. That is, the One who gives life to all His creations but is (?) from His creations. (?). So in this respect Allah Almighty is outside time and space. All created things are within time and space; only Allah Almighty is outside time and space. With the attribute Hayy. Living, and not in need of His creations, but all created things are in need of Allah.

Yes.

Man forgets his Creator, does not see the blessings He gave. If he associates partners with Allah, denies Allah's verses and does not believe in the hereafter, all the good works such people have done have gone to waste. The great sin (?) is, denying Allah, to associate partners with Allah. Continuing their life this way, they go without belief in the hereafter, as deniers. Even if you added up all the good and kind deeds he did on earth, the sin he incurred by denying Allah they could not pay off. In this respect the good works and deeds of these people go to waste. And these are the ones who are at a loss.

Some people say, those weak in faith: Edison too? A disbeliever. Edison too? Look, he discovered electricity. He served people.

Yes. Today those who make the inventions are non-Muslims too, will they too, Muslim, I mean, uh, go as disbelievers? Really, what he discovered serves people. So weakness of faith, lack of knowledge lead a person toward disbelief. Even if he does not fall into disbelief, it leads him toward disbelief. Who gave that intellect? Allah gave it. Who created him? Allah created him. Who taught all the knowledge to be found in the world? He taught it to Adam. It was saying to Adam: tell Me the names of things. So people will discover all the knowledge He taught Adam. And through those people finding this knowledge, for the people who come after, doors of sustenance will open.

And those people will secure their sustenance with that knowledge. At the same time, by their conduct they will show what kind of people they are. Whether a Muslim found it or a polytheist found it makes no difference. That knowledge will be found. What differs, the one thing, is their conduct. Yes.

Yes.

Will they be punished for anything other than the deeds they used to do? Allah Almighty is the judge of judges. An atom's weight of good and an atom's weight of evil that people do is recorded. So for these people, that is, those who deny Allah Almighty, with the actual inventions they themselves made, in return for the deeds they did, the good and the evil are tallied. When the evil side weighs more, they are punished with what they did. Allah imputes to no person any crime other than what he earned. Yes. Allah does not impute to a person a crime he did not commit. Even if this person is a fierce enemy of Allah on earth, associates partners with Allah, Allah does not give them an atom's weight more punishment than the recompense for what they did.

This is Allah's justice. Yes. So, if every soul is to bear the recompense of what it did, no person will be able to impute a crime to Allah. At the same time he will not be able to accuse Him of deficiency. Allah's attribute of being Allah. Among His servants He does not (?). He will judge with justice. With justice. Yes. In return for what each one did.
