Tafsir

Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' traveled to the Tur in order to make an appeal to Allah (swt), that is, to talk to Him. He will also worship on the Tour. At the end of his worship, he will bring a Book from Allah to his people. When Hazrat Moses went on the Tour, an artisan named Samiri gathered the ornaments of the Israelites and created a calf that could roar. Since this person was very artistic, when the wind blew, air would enter the calf and it would start to bellow. They took this calf as a god and started worshipping it behind the back of Moses.

(Do they not see that he neither speaks to them nor guides them?) Allah's intention in saying this verse in this way is: O Children of Israel! I rescued you from the hand of Pharaoh and his men, I spoke to your Prophet. I guided you and you saw and watched all these miracles. Even though I have made my presence felt to you outwardly. This one whom you worship neither speaks nor guides you. He says, "You have indeed become an ignorant and cruel people.

(They adopted him as a god and became wrongdoers.) By their being deceived in this way, these people became wrongdoers against their own souls.

What is said in the video

After Moses had gone to Tur, his people, out of their ornaments, took as god a calf statue that could low.

Did they not see that it neither speaks to them nor guides them? But wasn't Allah free from form?

Look what Allah says. (?) neither speaks to them, yes, nor guides them, it says. They adopted it as a god and became wrongdoers, it says.

In verse 148 of Surah Al-A'raf: After Moses had gone to Tur, his people, out of their ornaments, a lowing calf statue took as god. This person called the Samiri collects the gold from his people and makes a calf. (?) a skilled artist he must have been, then. With the blowing of the wind, the calf makes a sound. In one narration they also say Satan entered into it and made the sound. But that, with the blowing of the wind, this statue made by (?) makes a sound is more plausible.

Yes.

When Moses (peace be upon him), for munajat, that is, to speak with Allah Almighty, went up Mount Tur, at the same time to worship on Tur he goes up Tur, and he will worship on Tur. Allah Almighty calls him to worship His Essence. At the end of the worship he will bring his people a book from Allah. Because why did he go to Tur? To receive those admonitions.

As we told you about Surah Al-Baqarah, 83 and 84, in the verses, well, Allah Almighty entrusts them to Moses in the form of tablets. He gives them. When Moses went to Tur, among his people an artisan named Samiri collects the jewelry of the Children of Israel. He produces a calf that can low. Since this person was very skilled, with the blowing of the wind, air gets inside the calf and the calf begins to low. They took the calf as god and, after Moses had gone, began to worship this calf.

Did they not see that it neither speaks to them nor guides them? Allah Almighty says so in the verse.

Did they not see that it neither speaks to them nor guides them? Allah Almighty's purpose in saying this verse in this way: O Children of Israel, I saved you from the hand of Pharaoh and his men, I spoke with your prophet, I showed you the way, with so many miracles; you saw and watched the miracles. Though Our existence was outwardly made felt by you, this (?) neither speaks nor can show you a way. You have truly become an ignorant and wrongdoing people, He says.

They adopted it as a god and became wrongdoers. Through being deceived like this, these people became wrongdoers against their own selves. Yes.
