The most beautiful names (Asma al Husna) belong to Allah. Thus, pray onto Allah with those beautiful names. Leave those who have followed the wrong path regarding Allah’s names. They will be punished for the things they are doing.

Tafsir

The most beautiful names are Allah's. Allah (swt) knows His Essence, but we cannot comprehend it. Only Allah knows which of His attributes He praises, or the art of creation, or the works of His creation, or what He is trying to explain to people in the most beautiful way. In the event of Miraj, when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ascended to the presence of Allah (swt) on the miraj, the Prophet (PBUH) said to Allah (swt), "I am the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.).When the Prophet (PBUH) praised Allah (swt), saying that there is no other God but Him, that He is the absolute power in His property, that as the owner of all beings, all of His creations are mortal, that His only Self is eternal, that all creation, living and non-living beings, remember Allah (swt), and many other praises, Allah (swt) addressed the Prophet (swt), saying: O Muhammad! O my Prophet! Your praise of Me has become like the rebellious person of your ummah. The Prophet (PBUH) narrates the following incident. At that moment, a piece of food came between my lips. It was sweeter than sugar and whiter than snow, and the following words fell from between my lips. (I cannot remember your Zat as you remember your Zat.) Allah (swt) knows His attributes and attributes in the most beautiful way, and He says to us as much as we can comprehend. Pray to yourselves and my servants with my attributes. I forgive and pardon you for the sake of My name and attributes.

Allah (swt), who created human beings with faulty minds, makes them witnesses for themselves, those who turn to Him and those who do not, those who ask for forgiveness from Allah (swt) and those who do not, for the actual bad deeds that people will commit. It is also a test between people among themselves. Tomorrow on the Day of Judgment, when our deeds are shown to us and we see our shortcomings, we will not be able to question Allah (swt).

It is because of this that if a person turns to Allah (swt) and prays, asking for forgiveness and forgiveness, Allah (swt) will answer his prayer in the best way for the sake of His Names, without burdening him with a burden that he cannot bear in his destiny.

The names of Allah are many. Although it is said that Allah has ninety-nine names, there is no restriction in the Hadith. In this respect, some people say that He has a thousand and one names, but Allah and His Messenger know best. The best way for a person to pray is to surrender to Allah (swt) as it comes from his heart and to pray to Allah (swt) with the name that comes from his heart.

The pagans who disbelieved in Allah (swt) used the names of Allah (swt) in crooked ways. They distorted the names of Allah (swt) and gave them as names for their gods. For example, they distorted the name Allah and changed the names Lat and Aziz to Uzza.

Ilhad is turning away from the straight path. Ilhad, or going astray from the right path by distorting the names of Allah (swt), can take various forms. When idolaters call the idols or people they worship as Ilâh instead of Allah, this is ilhad. When polytheists call their idols Lat, Uzza, Menat, this is a form of ilhad. For Lat is from God, Uzza is from the saint, and Menat is given against the name Mennan.

These names or similar names cannot be distorted and given to people or idols for worship. As for those who act in this way, Allah (swt) says: "They will be punished for what they have been doing".

What is said in the video

Surah Al-A'raf, verse 180 The most beautiful names, Esma-ül Hüsna, belong to Allah. So call upon Him by those beautiful names. Leave those who go the crooked way concerning His names. They will be punished for what they used to do, it says. Is the world left to itself? Allah, who set you free with your will, who created you, who gives you every kind of provision, who all your life, outside every (?), protects you and proves to you what kind of person you are, Allah Almighty — did He send you to earth to amuse your nafs and desires? Of course you will remember your Creator; the most beautiful names belong to Allah.

Allah Almighty's 99 names; in one place, a thousand and one names. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Allahüllezî lâ ilâhe illâ hü, el-Melik, el-Kuddûs, es-Selâm, el-Mü'min, el-Müheymin, el-Azîz, el-Cebbâr, el-Mütekebbir, el-Hâlık, el-Bâri, el-Musavvir. His 99 names, names with the most beautiful attributes, belong to Allah Almighty alone. The most beautiful attributes, the most beautiful names and their meanings belong to Allah Almighty alone. Yes.

In this case people, Allah Almighty's majestic name, the majestic name at the head of His names, the Ism-i Azam, the head of His names.

In this case the Ism-i Azam: Allah Almighty, to the servants He loves, to His beloved saintly servants, makes His Ism-i Azam known.

Among these names, Allah Almighty's most beautiful names, His own through His various arts of creation, (?) — yes, call upon Him, it says, with the most beautiful names. Now, we touched on this a little in our last lesson too. Now, what we touched on here, that statement of ours — its proof in the light of the verses we will now give. In the light of the verses.

Allah Almighty said: Lekad halaknâ'l-insâne fî ahseni takvîm. I created man in the most beautiful form, He says. Yes.

Lehü'l-esmâü'l-hüsnâ. The most beautiful attributes are Mine too, He says, and the forms are also Mine.

The most beautiful names, Esma-ül Hüsna, belong to Allah.

The most beautiful forms and attributes belong to Allah, He says. In this case, someone says to me: attribute is one thing, form is another. We explained it in the last lesson. Doesn't my attribute prove its own form? What is my attribute? Is it my character traits? It is my shape and appearance. It is my essence, my self, I am myself. With this attribute of mine, with this form, I have a name. Likewise Allah Almighty, with His own essence, with His own essence, His beautiful names He makes known within those forms and attributes, through His forms. What does it say? The most beautiful names, Esma-ül Hüsna, belong to Allah.

So let us call upon Him by the most beautiful names. By the most beautiful names. How shall we pray? O Allah, Lord of the worlds. For example: O You who create from nothing and who created these worlds in (?) of all His will — the Lord's, the Lord attribute, of Allah who subsists by His essence, the servant attribute; pray like this, with whatever attributes come to your mind, to Allah. But those who mock His attributes, then leave them to Me, He says. What does it say? Leave those who go the crooked way. They will be punished for what they used to do. You — if towards Allah who created you, equipped with the most beautiful (?), who has the power to create from nothing, you with your helplessness defy Him, rise against your Lord in your pride and arrogance, and His (?) you mock — tomorrow at the Resurrection, on this day of reckoning, at the supreme court, Allah Almighty bears no grudge, nor is He cruel or unjust; He will only give you the return for what you did.

And then you will say: is there no way back to the world? But that regret will be of no use. Through the door of the eternal life with no return you will enter, and in that eternal life, at the supreme court, in the presence of Allah Almighty, you will see, in justice, the return for your deeds, and turning that abode of bliss into a dungeon, you will enter through the door of eternal Hell. Do you want this? By mocking Allah's names. By (?) Allah, with pride and arrogance, by deifying your own nafs, yes.

The most beautiful names belong to Allah, it says. As Allah Almighty knows His essence, we cannot comprehend Him. As Allah Almighty knows His own essence, we cannot know Allah Almighty's essence that way. Because with this limited mind we cannot fully grasp Him. When the Prophet ascended in the Mi'raj, when he and Allah Almighty were face to face, He says: O Muhammad, take your step. There is no time and space; where shall I step, he says to his Lord. Put one foot on top of the other, He says. My servants — let them (?) that they found Me (?) time and space. He is at the final point of time and space.

And Allah Almighty, near those (?) where there is no time and space, facing the Messenger of Allah. Again they speak through communication. In communication.

In this situation he offers praise to Allah Almighty. And Allah Almighty says: you, praising Me, praising Me, are like My servants in love, He says. Then, he says, (?) into my mouth, (?) white, sweeter than sugar, he says. A (?) came, and these words poured from his tongue. I cannot remember Your essence as You remember Your essence. Yes. Allah Almighty remembers His essence every day. Every moment. Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god but Me. I am Allah, Lord of the worlds. There is no god at all besides Me. I am the possessor of power and might. In this way Allah Almighty remembers His essence.

He wants people too to remember His essence. That is why He says: call upon Me by the most beautiful names. One prays to Me with My names, and I shall long for you. Let Me take part, let Me answer your prayer, He says. Let Me answer. I created you to see you before Me. Turn to Me, so that I turn to you. Remember Me and I will remember you, says Allah Almighty. Yes. So the most beautiful names belong to Allah. As Allah Almighty knows His essence, we cannot comprehend Him that way. Just as we cannot know our father the way he knows himself. With which attribute, which of His attributes or His art of creation or the works He created He praises, what He tries to explain to people in the most beautiful way — only Allah, beautiful, most beautiful, knows. These things.

We grasp as much as we are able to grasp.

In the event of the Mi'raj, when the Noblest Messenger and Honoured Prophet Muhammad came into the presence of Allah Almighty in the Mi'raj, the Prophet turned to praising Allah Almighty: that there is no other god besides Him. Yes...

that the heavens and the earth (?) and what is between them belong to Allah, that He has absolute power in His dominion, that He is the owner of all beings, that all He created are perishable, and His essence alone is everlasting, that all created things, living and lifeless, make remembrance of Allah Almighty, and with many more praises, when he extolled Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty, addressing the Prophet, says: O Muhammad, O My Beloved, your praising Me was like a rebellious man of your community, He says. The Prophet (peace be upon him) recounts what happened after that as follows. At that moment a (?) came between my lips.

It was sweeter than sugar and whiter than (?). And these words poured from between my lips. I cannot remember Your essence as You remember Your essence. So Allah Almighty, in the most beautiful way, His Esma-ül Hüsna, His attributes, as He knows them Himself, to us as far as we can grasp, declares as follows. Pray for yourselves and My servants with My attributes. For the sake of My majestic name and My attributes I forgive you. I pardon, He declares. Yes, for the sake of My majestic name.

We said that the Ism-i Celil is Allah Almighty's Ism-i Azam; He makes it known to the servants He loves. When you are in distress, pray to Me with this Ism-i Celil, He says. Everyone will live within their destiny, after all; what is to happen will happen within destiny, One day, an event I will tell, again — since many events have appeared upon me, people say, look, this is pride, this is arrogance, sir, he tells this and that, so I don't really want to tell it, but when the time comes I will tell it. When our Lord made His Ism-i Azam known to me too, I said this: My Lord, what if I use it for myself? Do We not know whether he will use it for himself or not, He said. Yes — do We not know that he will not use it for himself? Indeed, there is no particle to come until the Resurrection whose doings We do not know, according to the verse that says so.

But by Allah Almighty's command, just as He commanded Khidr (peace be upon him), so by His command He has one pray for people with the Ism-i Celil, has one pray. One day — some are no longer among us, they passed to the hereafter, but one is among us. We went on a journey; it was the noon prayer, Allah knows best, or the afternoon, I don't know.

We said, let's pray in the mosque. A man is sitting on the mosque's bench. Our Lord, through inspiration, made a prayer for him. I prayed and went outside. I saw the man was sitting there. Father, is something troubling you? Tell me. What's wrong? Ah, my child, he said, ah. I had property, he said. The children said to me, he said: Father, when you (?), we will share this property anyway. I will divide it among you. Give it to us now so we know where we stand. Give it, he said. And I (?) the lands over to them, he said. (?) they threw me out, he said. I said: you pray, and I'll carry on, I said.

This is how Allah Almighty creates causes. Not even the wing of a flying fly stirs without a cause. That is why Allah Almighty, with His majestic names, has one pray for people; or even if you don't know the majestic name, with His names, with the names that come to your mind, to your Lord when you pray with (?), it is impossible that Allah Almighty would not answer your prayer, if it is within destiny, of course. If it is outside destiny, you will see its return in the hereafter.

Allah Almighty, who created people fallible, since He created them deficient in mind, because of the bad deeds people do, have done and will do, those who turn to His essence and those who don't, (?) the people who ask forgiveness and those who don't — He makes them witnesses against themselves.

Why did we come to this world? To prove what kind of person we are. In the verse too: did you think you would (?) without proving what kind of person you are, He says. Within every person's destiny, with the characters they received, that were given to them, desires and wishes begin in people. Allah Almighty creates causes according to their desires and wishes. With the deeds that person wanted, people prove what kind of people they are. At the same time, people being tested by one another — tomorrow on the Day of Resurrection, when what we did is shown to us and we see our shortcomings, toward Allah Almighty we will not be able to question, and we will not be able to ask Him any question in reply.

This is Allah's, Allah's attribute. For every question we ask, the deeds we did will be shown to us, and we will be left without an answer.

It is because of this that if a person turns to Allah Almighty and, asking forgiveness and pardon, prays, for the sake of His names Allah, without placing on his back (?) he cannot bear within his destiny, answers his prayer in the most beautiful way — Allah Almighty does.

Allah Almighty's names are many. Allah Almighty has 90 (?) names. Although this is said, there is no limitation in the hadith. Therefore, even if some say He has a thousand and one names, Allah and His Messenger know best. A person's most beautiful way of praying is, as it comes from the heart, surrendering to Allah Almighty, to pray to Allah Almighty with the name that comes from the heart. Yes. The Prophet (peace be upon him) says: do not pray in a (?) way. (?) prayer. A man opens up.

Says this and that, this and that, this and that, this and that. Says. His hands are tired by now, still half an hour more. What are you telling? He names his mother, his father, his name, (?), Hasan, Husayn. O blessed man. Doesn't Allah know whom you are praying for?

The most beautiful form of prayer. Look, let me tell you here, in the shortest and most beautiful way, in sentences, even if briefly, how prayer is done, in essential sentences.

O my Lord, this that I recited is a light thing. We gifted it to the Messenger of Allah, to his spirituality.

To his Household, (?) to his ancestors, well, to the messengers, to the prophets, to Allah's righteous servants, the saints, and we gifted it to the martyrs too. How beautiful.

To the saints, the prophets, the martyrs, the martyrs, (?) we gifted it. (?) of the one who recited (?), on the mother's side, father's side, wife's side or husband's side, however many dead they have, we gifted it to the souls of their (?) ancestors (?) (?) leaves and goes; and of those listening here likewise, mother's side, father's side, wife's side, however many (?) ancestors they have, they too (?); Allah Almighty's mercy is abundant. And the reward left over from there, to however many (?) brothers in faith there are between east and west, whose (?) were cut off, who have become (?), who say: is there no Quran for us too, we gifted it to their souls too, you say.

How beautiful; it has reached these too. After that, to Allah Almighty: O Lord, to Your troubled servants a cure, to Your sick servants healing, to the indebted repayment, give, O Lord of the Worlds. Give us health too. (?), O Lord of the Worlds. Lillâhi teâlâ el-Fâtiha.

A prayer at the start. (?) You've gathered all of it, brought it together.

Whom will you tell what? Have you fallen for (?)? So that they say: this man prays so beautifully?

Yes. Prayer has its most beautiful form. (?) into all of them.

Yes.

It is because of this that if a person, turning to Allah Almighty, asking forgiveness and pardon, prays, for the sake of Allah's names, within his destiny without placing on his back (?) he cannot bear, they answer his prayer in the most beautiful way. Yes. Allah Almighty's names are many. Although it is said that Allah Almighty has 99 names, there is no limitation in the hadith, it is said. Therefore, even if some say He has a thousand and one names, best Allah and His Messenger know. A person's most beautiful way of praying is, as it comes from the heart, surrendering to Allah Almighty, to pray to Allah Almighty again with the name that comes from the heart. Those who (?) to Allah Almighty — the idolaters used Allah Almighty's names in crooked ways.

By distorting Allah Almighty's names, they (?) them as names for their own gods. For example, distorting the name Allah, Lat; and changing the name Aziz, they said Uzza. To the idols Lat and Uzza. Ilhad is turning away from the straight path. Ilhad is turning away from the right path, from Allah's path. Ilhad in Allah Almighty's names, that is, leaving the right path by distorting the names, can take various forms. The idolaters calling the idols they worship, or people, god instead of Allah is an ilhad. That is, going astray. The polytheists calling their idols Lat, Uzza, Manat is a kind of ilhad.

That is, going astray. For Lat from Ilah, Uzza from Aziz, and Manat as a counterpart to the name Mannan, were given. These names, or similar names, distorted, for the purpose of worship cannot be given to people or idols. As for those who act this way, Allah Almighty: they will be punished for what they used to do, He declares. Of course Allah Almighty will give them their punishment.
