They are the mu’min (believers) who are upon the truth. For them, there are many degrees, mercy and unending provisions with their Lord.
Tafsir
The Muslims mentioned in the above verse are righteous, they spread Allah's justice in the earth and do injustice to no one. They do not deviate from justice and truth, even to the detriment of their own souls. They remember Allah in their hearts. They do not deviate from the path shown by Allah until the day they meet Allah. People who have these qualities are believers. They are friends of Allah. Allah is their friend.
For these people there are many degrees and positions in the sight of their Lord that we cannot imagine. While living in this worldly realm, in the unseen and veiled property, without being deceived by the pleasures of this world, without being caught by the temptations of Satan, without paying attention to the worldly desires of the nafs, for the sake of Allah, who does not deviate from what Allah says, who reforms his nafs for the sake of Allah, who gives his heart to Allah and surrenders his heart to Allah, Allah (swt) will surely please such servants by pouring from His endless treasure to please them. Blessed are such people.
Furthermore, Allah, Who created human beings incomplete mentally, forgives and covers the sins of the believers by forgiving them for their mistakes, as a result of their asking for forgiveness and seeking refuge in Allah for their mistakes and the sins they have committed intentionally or unintentionally, and Allah forgives and covers their sins.
These believers will enjoy eternal bliss in the Hereafter, and they will also have endless and inexhaustible sustenance from the mercy and grace of Allah.
What is said in the video
We have come to the fourth verse of Surah Al-Anfal. Indeed, those who are upon the truth are the believers, it says. That is, those on the straight path, who regarding Allah's command do not go (?), who submit to Allah, who trust in Him, who are content with what comes from Him, who never complain about what Allah gives, these are believers, for them there are many ranks with their Lord, forgiveness and an unending provision, it says. To such a person. And I say: O human, what happened, what have you become, did you worship the world, or did you create it and become its owner, or with this wealth and property of yours, will you take your wealth and property to the hereafter in the same way and be its owner?
While your Lord who created you wants to see you longing for His being, or wants to see you worship His being, you give value to these worthless creations of Allah, to His creations of little worth, and if you deify your nafs with them, tomorrow at that Supreme Court, how will you answer in the presence of Allah Almighty? Can you imagine that place?
Look, it says, those are the believers who are upon the truth. Well, he is human, you are human too; what is the difference between you? What is the difference? There is a single difference.
The covenant.
The heart. The difference of knowing Allah or not. Yes. For them there are many ranks with their Lord, forgivenesses.
(?) said to you, what did Allah Almighty want from you? Did He say: work and give it to Me? His creations, working and earning, what you earn, because you give it in charity for Allah's servants, because you love Allah, but give charity to Allah's servants, you have many ranks in Allah's sight. Could Allah not have given it to that servant of His? As He gave to you. Perhaps He gives even more.
We, we are tested with one another. Being tested with one another, we bring our own ranks to light. And we prove what kind of person we are. By being tested with one another.
Just as you feel desire for the world, just as you feel love for this matter that Allah created, if only you felt love for Allah as you feel that love, if you felt love for Allah like the love you feel for what Allah created, Allah would exalt you. He would place you among His saintly servants, make you among the rich of the hereafter, make you heir to the paradises. But the nafs is so attached to the world that it sees the world through rose-tinted glasses. That Satan frightens man with poverty. Yet that believer knows this verse with all his heart, with all his heart. Do you not see the birds that fly to the plains in the morning with empty crops, it says.
In the evening they return to their nests with full crops, it says. Look at these creatures, the animals (?). These flying birds, these wolves roaming the mountains, birds. All of them live from day to day, they live day to day, they eat whatever they find, Allah every day gives them their provision. As for man, this verse says: Although We have given you a provision you could not finish eating in a whole lifetime, you still say there is none, it says. Most people are very ungrateful, it says. They are very (?), it says. Yes. Look, in the verse too: hundreds of miracles appear before your eyes every day.
You are blind, you do not see, it says. Unaware of the life of these animals which live day by day and remember their Lord, never acting against their Lord, this human, created as the noblest of creatures, cannot even be as good as those creatures.
How bitter, isn't it? Truly very bitter. Out of the pride and arrogance the nafs gives man, people who cannot take their Lord's word into their mouths, who cannot even say 'selamün aleyküm', are truly very ungrateful.
Yes.
Those are the believers who are upon the truth. For them there are many ranks with their Lord, forgiveness and an unending provision. (?)
That is what Yunus Emre says.
'My market and bazaar were plundered,' he says. Plundered. That is, he gave it all away for the Truth. 'It was the Truth's property, I gave it to the Truth,' he says. 'I too am my Lord's servant, I am going to my Lord,' he says. Yes. Since the Muslims described in the verse above are upon the truth, they spread Allah's justice on earth and wrong no one. Even if it is against their own selves, they do not depart from justice and truth. They remember Allah Almighty in their hearts. Until the day they meet Allah, they do not depart from the path Allah has shown. People who have these qualities are believers.
These are friends of Allah. And Allah is their friend. Hasbünallahu ve ni'mel vekîl, ni'mel mevlâ ve ni'me'n-nasîr. What an excellent master, what an excellent companion and what an excellent support, it says. If a person gave his heart to Allah, reformed his nafs and rose to a state of belonging to his Lord,
and could speak with Him, from the heart, from the heart, through inspiration, what things He would tell His servant, what things, what things He would show him. And with what He shows, with the unfolding of the person's mind, he knows far better that his Lord is the Truth and is truly the absolute owner of the worlds and that one day he will return to Him.
And he conducts his affairs in the world accordingly. For these people, with their Lord there are many ranks beyond our minds and imagination, and stations.
To the dominion hidden and veiled in this world, a person who, while living, is not deceived by the pleasures of this world, not carried away by Satan's temptations, not heeding the worldly desires his nafs gives him, who for Allah's sake does not depart from what Allah says, and reforming his nafs for Allah, gives his heart to Allah and again submits to Allah from the heart. To this person, Allah Almighty, too, will surely, in order to please such servants of His, pour from His treasury that never ends and never runs out and please them. How blessed are such people, with the (?) that never ends and never runs out.
So it is in this world, and in the hereafter the abode of eternal bliss. The delight of an undying life. Moreover, Allah Almighty, who created people deficient in mind: because of the mistakes believers make, as these people take refuge in their Lord and ask Allah Almighty for pardon and forgiveness, and because these people's minds fall short, for the sins they commit knowingly or unknowingly they ask Allah Almighty for pardon, and as a result Allah Almighty forgives them their sins, covers and conceals them.
There is a lot to say here too. Just as these believers attain the life of eternal bliss in the hereafter, from Allah Almighty's mercy and grace there is also for them a provision that never ends and never runs out. Yes.
In our last paragraph too there are many things to explain.
For instance: moreover, Allah Almighty, who created people deficient in mind: because of the mistakes believers make, these people take refuge in their Lord and ask Allah Almighty for pardon and forgiveness.
There are many things to explain here too. However much a believer reforms his nafs, we can compare the reform of the nafs to this. We have been reading through quickly lately. I don't want to explain (?). My head is (?) a bit anyway. Probably old age. Rather than reading through, with short verses, opening them up more nicely and leaving the rest to other lessons seems more (?). We can compare the nafs to this.
If you made a statue from clay, a statue. If you placed this statue among the wonders of the world, you dried the clay, or from the clay you shaped it, dried it, fired it in the kiln, gilded and decorated it. You placed this statue, or that work of art, among the wonders of the world. Meanwhile, while holding it, you dropped it and broke it. It broke into pieces. When you wet it with water, it will become clay again, because it will not have lost anything of its essence. The nafs is the same: however much you reform it, the moment you let it loose it will do to you what it does. However much you reform your nafs, that nafs will still struggle with you.
In this case, however much a person reforms his nafs, still, just as to the Prophet (peace be upon him) He said: I have forgiven your past and future sins; and he, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds and sent to perfect good character, said: My Lord educated me, educated me well; since even he was deficient, at fault before our Lord, then people who carry a nafs surely, even if toward people, and they are not prophets, even if toward people, even if only a little,
even if toward themselves, toward their Lord all the more so; they have shortcomings. In this case, in this case, since he was created deficient in mind, even if they are at the highest rank of believers, they will constantly ask Allah Almighty for pardon and forgiveness.
If man had never made a mistake, this verse would not have come true. If you had never committed a mistake on earth, We would destroy you and in your place create servants who make mistakes, it says. Yes. So, however much (?) this nafs may be, the common people's bad deed, as I explained just now, good deed, just as it is the elite's bad deed, as with the unfolding of the mind one person's reward is another's sin, the nafs does not leave man alone, and people are not free of mistakes. In this case, even a believer makes mistakes and asks Allah Almighty for pardon and forgiveness.
Yes. And Allah Almighty forgives them their sins, covers and conceals them. Covers them. Because they do not disclose their sins. Allah Almighty says: We do not love servants who disclose their sins. Because Allah Almighty has pardoned the person with His pardon and forgiveness. That person, by disclosing his sin that Allah Almighty pardoned to other servants, to Allah's servants, puts Allah Almighty in the position of being unaware of it. As in: look, He didn't know about my sin. Yet Allah Almighty has pardoned his sin. O My servant, why, He says, do you disclose your sin that I have pardoned?
Yes, just as these believers attain the life of eternal bliss in the hereafter, from Allah Almighty's mercy and grace there is also for them a provision that never ends and never runs out, we say. And with that we close this part.
