Translation

When your Lord revealed to angels; “Verily, I am with you; now support those who believe; To give fear to the hearts of the deniers. Hit their necks, hit all their fingers.”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) has made Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) a witness to many things. In the address in the verse, as a reminder to the Prophet (SAW); (Behold, the Lord says to the angels, "I am with you"), the Prophet (SAW) bears witness to this command given to the angels by saying "Behold".

Allah (swt) helped the Islamic army with angels as a good news for the Muslims. Otherwise, Allah is the One Who fulfills whatever He wills, without the need for angels. At the command of Allah (swt), the angels came to help the Muslim armies. The angels were commanded by Allah (swt) to support the believers and strike their necks, and the angels took their places among the armies of Islam and participated in the battle themselves. In the history of warfare in the world, it is rare for Allah to help Islam with angels like the battle of Badr, which is clear and explicit in the verses, and at the same time, this battle is the battle that paved the way for Islam in the history of Islam, the battle of entering a new era, the Islamic era. Because in this battle, the Quraysh army, which was blocking the way of Islam, was destroyed, the pioneers of disbelief were eliminated, and the word of Allah was manifested as truth. The saying that Allah's word has been manifested as the truth is the equivalent of the verse that says, "Allah will complete His light until the Day of Resurrection".

Allah (swt) also says to the angels, "Strike their fingers. It is an expression of the complete annihilation of the armies of the polytheists. A person holds and grasps something with his fingers. The breaking of the fingers means that the hand can no longer hold and grasp anything. The intention behind the words "strike your fingers" is that by destroying the Quraysh army, they will not be able to regroup, and even if they do regroup, they will lose power, and with the elimination of the pioneers of disbelief, the way for Islam will be opened and Islam will enter the age of its spread. Just as Allah started His light with the Prophet (PBUH) in the battle of Badr, Allah will continue His light until the Day of Judgment, even if the kuffar do not want it. In this respect, the battle of Badr is commemorated in history and in one of Mehmet Akif Ersoy's couplets, he emphasizes that the martyrs of Badr and those who fought there achieved unprecedented victories in the history of the world by calling those who were martyred there for the victory in Çanakkale (the lions of Badr were only this glorious).

What is said in the video

When your Lord to the angels: Surely I am with you, My angels, I am with you. Come, support those who believe.

I will cast fear into the hearts of the disbelievers.

Strike their necks.

Strike all their fingers, He was revealing.

I am very moved by this verse. All of them move a person, but this one truly makes one cry.

Those who live far from Allah, who turn their backs on Allah and are enemies of Allah, who eat and drink what Allah has given and associate partners with Allah: strike their necks, He says, strike their fingers.

Yes.

Allah Almighty made His Beloved, the Prophet Muhammad, a witness to many things.

In the address in the verse, as a reminder to the Prophet, it says, when your Lord to the angels; he sees it anyway. Well, when your Lord to those angels, given, when your Lord said to the angels, I am with you: by saying 'when', the Prophet (peace be upon him) is made a witness to this command given to the angels. He makes him a witness to it.

O My Beloved, this handful of Muslims I have seen, those with you, who will make the religion of Islam take root, how would I leave your prayer on the ground, says Allah Almighty. Remember, He says, look, in return for your prayer, there are those angels, He says, with you. Yes. Allah Almighty's help with angels to the army of Islam was meant as good news for the Muslims. Otherwise Allah, (?) angels, would carry out what He wills. (?) Are they many? Do they look many in your eyes, that I them, He says. In your eyes, few. And them, He says, I showed you as many, He says. And behind you, the angels too.

Yes.

By the command of Allah Almighty, the noble angels come to the aid of the Muslim armies.

The angels: Allah Almighty's command, support those who believe. By saying strike their necks, it means that among the armies of Islam the angels took their places and personally took part in the battle.

In fact, Allah Almighty: O My Beloved, when you threw, He says, before you threw at them, I threw, He says. Yes.

Now, in the history of the world's wars, with verses explicit, clear and open, like the Battle of Badr, a battle where Allah helps Islam, Islam with angels, is rare, and at the same time this battle, in the history of Islam, is the battle in which Islam entered a new age that opened its way, the age of Islam: that is the battle. Because in this battle the Quraysh army that blocked Islam's way was destroyed, the leaders of disbelief were eliminated, Allah's word manifested as truth.

The phrase here, Allah's word manifested as truth, is, of the verse where Allah says He will complete His light until the Day of Judgment, the counterpart. Moreover, what Allah Almighty means by saying to the angels, strike their fingers, is an expression of the complete annihilation of the polytheist armies.

A person holds and grasps things with his fingers. Broken fingers mean that hand can no longer hold or grasp anything. So what He means by strike their fingers is, with the destruction of the Quraysh army, its never recovering again, and even if they recover, their constantly losing strength, and with the leaders of disbelief eliminated, Islam's way being opened. And saying strike their necks is their collapse, then. It is Islam entering the age of its spread. Just as Allah began His light at the Battle of Badr with the Prophet (peace be upon him), even if the disbelievers do not want it, Allah will continue His light until the Day of Judgment. For this reason, in histories, the Battle of Badr is remembered, and in a couplet by Mehmet Akif Ersoy, for the Gallipoli victory, he addresses those martyred there like this: The lions of Badr were only this glorious, he says.

It emphasizes the martyrs of Badr and that those who fought there, in world history, set their signature as (?) and victorious. Yes.
