Translation

And abstain from a mischief that will not only reach those who oppress among you (but that will approach and destroy everyone). Know that Allah’s punishment is severe.

Tafsir

The verses of the Holy Qur'an address the past, present and future. Allah, who created the universe with a program, informs us what will happen in time with His Verses.

(Beware of such a Fitnah that it will not reach only the wrongdoers among you). This verse also addresses our time. A Muslim is one who values hijab by obeying Allah's commands. In our time, people are walking around in bras and swimsuits, exposing their bodies. These people are not only wronging themselves. They also envy the people among them and lure them to disobey Allah's command. Those who consent to such filth, those who disobey Allah's command, those who consent to such immoral behavior, those who spread such mischief and those who envy such mischief will be subjected to oppression.

A proverb describes this phenomenon. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Those who are fascinated by the fashions of the fashionistas, those who want to make themselves look richer than they are, those who have made the world their god, who have forgotten Allah, and who do not recognize any prohibition to take the wealth of the world, not only oppress their own souls in this way, but they also spread this situation to the public by disobeying the commands of Allah and His Messenger with this behavior. There is the fitnah of immorality, the fitnah of pleasure, the fitnah of forgetting Allah and His Messenger, and the fitnah of not seeing anything but the world.

Once upon a time non-Muslims were in this situation, unable to protect themselves from calamities. And finally they found salvation in binding their people to their superstitious priests. Today, the fitnah of forgetting Allah, which has swept the world with this fitnah of immorality, has not only included those who committed these crimes, but those who committed these crimes have become stars, and the nation has forgotten Din-i Islam by envying them, and it has spread to the general public to the point that people have lost their own self.

O man! Beware of this fitnah and do not consent to those who commit this crime. Allah is such an Allah that His punishment is harsh and severe. Allah's slap is heavy. You will make the life of this world a misery and the life of the Hereafter a torment. What an evil place of return, the abode of torment, and you will be among the eternal losers.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Anfal, verse 25: And beware of such a fitna, He says, that does not strike only those among you who do wrong; it spreads to everyone and ruins them all. Know that Allah's punishment is severe.

Fitna is (?) even than killing a man. After all, you kill a man, you receive your punishment. But fitna spreads to everyone. It also takes in innocent people among them. So one must keep away from those who stir up fitna and not lend an ear to fitna.

Today's equivalent of fitna is acts of provocation.

These are very bad incidents.

Allah Almighty, about such incidents, to those who commit them — look what He says: Allah's punishment is very severe, He says. The verses of the Holy Quran address the past, our time and the future. Allah, who created the universe according to a program, tells us of what will happen over time in His verses. What will happen, what will be lived through, what kinds of events will appear. Before these events happen, Allah Almighty warns us with His verses: do not resort to such acts and do not (?) in this way. Otherwise, He says, Our punishment will be very severe. So if a person rules himself by Allah's verses, he will have taken precautions.

Of course the decree is Allah's; if those acts are in their destiny, those wrongdoers, to increase their wrongdoing, will resort to doing such things, and in this way, to become subject to Allah's punishment, they will take revenge on their own selves. Yes, beware of such a fitna that does not strike only those among you who do wrong — this verse also addresses our time. A Muslim is one who, observing Allah's commands, values covering. In our time, people, stripped of covering, going about in (?) or swimsuits, display their bodies. These people do not only (?) themselves. By making the people around them envy them, they also draw them into going against Allah's command. Those who consent to such (?), to those who go against Allah's command, together with those who go about (?) like this, that fitna, along with the fitna of immorality, they (?) — they remain.

Here we have taken it from the moral side. As I said a moment ago, if that fitna breaks out into the open, it burns many lives too. A proverb describes this. A grape darkens by looking at another grape. Those caught up in the fashion craze of the fashion designers, those who want to show themselves richer than they are, who have deified the world, forgotten Allah, and who, to gain the world's wealth, recognize no prohibition — just as they wrong their own selves in this way, by these acts they also go against the commands of Allah and His Messenger and spread this condition to everyone. Here too, from the moral side, it spreads to everyone,

this thing comes about. Yes. The more exposed someone goes about, the more modern they become. That much more modern. I am ashamed to go outside. I am embarrassed.

They walk around in swimsuits. Their chests are bare. Everything is out. May Allah protect us. I liken the people here to pigs. He has his wife on his arm. The more (?), the prouder he is. Astonishing. How can there be such an understanding? What kind of understanding is this? I am really astonished. By parading his wife nicely and putting her on display, he, in this way, within his modern lifestyle, is pleased with his life and walks with her in a state of peace. He boasts of her so much, he boasts of his wife, saying: my wife goes about like this. Today even a pig does not do this. A pig is hardly jealous of its mate, but even a pig does not do this.

Astonishing, really.

Can this age go bad so quickly? That is fitna. It is not only setting people against each other with words. This too is a fitna. They compete against each other. They compete with one another. In that case, if you tell this person about Allah and His Messenger, will he come near you? He has deified his nafs and taken Satan as a guide over himself. Will this person like the word of Allah and His Messenger?

Allah Almighty says this in His verse about the destroyed peoples:

Though only a short time had passed over them, He says, how they came to resemble their forefathers, He says.

In denying Allah, of course.

Our forefathers, too, for 1400 years, have left us the religion of Islam as an inheritance. For these fifty-six years Islam has been wounded as much as it could be.

People have drifted away from Islam. They do not know what Allah and the Messenger are.

In this situation, Allah Almighty has the attribute of patience.

Know that Allah's punishment is harsh. If Allah gives the unbelievers two or three calamities a year, will He leave you unattended?

As I said, Allah's punishment is harsh.

One must turn to Allah before Allah's punishment comes. One must carry out Allah's command.

In ancient times, in the age of slavery, the age of captivity, the slave owners would put women on display and sell them.

They would uncover their private parts, display them and sell them.

They (?) under oppression.

Under that oppression, perhaps, being (?), they attain Allah's mercy.

But these who strip themselves naked of their own will, who put themselves on display, who drown everything in fitna and poison the youth, who make others envy them by swimming naked, and the men drawn to them.

The men who are drawn to them.

In this case, she who with her nakedness makes herself attractive, and the man drawn to her — these are the verses corresponding to this verse:

A woman who fornicates wants to marry a man who fornicates. And a man who fornicates wants to marry a woman who fornicates. Where is their honor and dignity? Even an animal is jealous over its own mate. Yes. These have become the fitna of our time. May Allah reform them. So, as the proverb goes, a grape darkens by looking at another grape. Those caught up in the fashion craze of the fashion designers, those who want to show themselves richer than they are, who have deified the world, forgotten Allah, and who, to gain the world's wealth, recognize no prohibition, just as they wrong their own selves in this way, by these acts they also go against the commands of Allah and His Messenger and spread this condition to everyone.

This is the fitna of immorality that engulfs everything and ravages it like fire. The fitna of pleasure and indulgence, the fitna of forgetting Allah and His Messenger and of eyes seeing nothing but the world. At one time the non-Muslims also went through this. They could not protect themselves from disasters. And finally they found salvation in binding people to their false priests. And finally these today — and finally, as salvation, they found it in binding people to their false priests. Today this fitna of forgetting Allah, which ravages everything with the fitna of immorality, has not only encompassed those who commit these crimes; those who commit them have each become a star, and the people, envying them, have forgotten the religion of Islam, and as it spread to everyone, man has come to the point of losing his own self.

Yes. He has come to the point of losing his own self. So, good person, beware of this fitna and do not consent to those who commit this crime. Allah is such that His punishment is harsh and severe. Allah's slap is heavy. Just as you ruin your worldly life, you turn your afterlife into punishment too. You end up in the abode of punishment, what an evil place of return, and you become one of those who suffer eternal loss. Of course, if you use your reason.

It will come later. Do you never use your reason? Do you not reflect? Do you not think? Allah Almighty will say.
