Remember that the infidels were plotting to seize and bind you, or to kill you, or to drive you away (from your home). While they were making plans (against you), Allah was making plans (against them). Allah is the best of planners.

Tafsir

When the Prophet (pbuh) started to spread Islam in Mecca, the polytheists, who were idolaters, wanted to trap the Prophet (pbuh) and eliminate him when they saw that people were gradually turning away from their idols and entering Islam. But the polytheists failed to realize that Allah was behind the Prophet (pbuh) and that no power or force could stand against Allah. At the battle of Badr, they increased their disbelief with the traps they had set for themselves, and at the battle of Badr, they went to their eternal abode, Hell, an evil place of return, filthy and unclean.

It is narrated in the commentaries that this verse was revealed as follows. When the Ansar, the inhabitants of Madinah, accepted Islam, the polytheists of Quraysh in Makkah, the idolaters of Makkah, were alarmed to think that people would be separated from the idols they worshipped and that these people would convert to Islam. The chiefs of Mecca such as Abu Buhteri Hisham ibn Amr, Abu Jahl, Tuayme Bin Adiy gathered in Darun Nedve. They started consulting against the Prophet (PBUH) in order to prevent and eliminate him. Iblis disguised himself as an old man from the people of Najit and joined this consultation. First of all, Abu Bukhari said, "This is what I think of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH); let us imprison Muhammad in a house. Give him food and drink through his window and keep him there until he dies. The representative of the people of Najit, the devil in the guise of an old man, immediately opposes this suggestion. If you imprison him in such a house, his tribe will surely come and fight you in battle and rescue him from your hands. Old Najdi's words were confirmed by those present. Then Hisham came up with a further idea, saying, 'Put him on a camel and take him out of your midst. Then what he does will not harm you. And you will be free from him. Old Najdi objected to this too. What a bad idea this is. He is the one who has corrupted your children and your debauchees. When he is taken out like this, he will corrupt others besides you. Do you not see the beauty of his speech, the eloquence of his tongue, and his words that affect the hearts? If you let him go free like that, he will make many people follow him. Then he will come and drive you out of your land. Yes, you are telling the truth, they affirmed Iblis. Then the angel Abu Jahl said: "Take a youth from each tribe of the Quraysh and put swords in their hands and let them all attack Muhammad and kill him. In this way his blood will be distributed among the tribes. The children of Hashim will not be able to fight with Quraysh, and if they ask for a blood price, they will pay it and we will finish the matter. The evil demon came forward and said that what this young man says is true and they all agreed to this idea. Seven young men were selected from the tribes of Quraysh and they surrounded the house of the Prophet (PBUH) at midnight with spears and swords in their hands. Allah (swt) informed the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) about this situation. The Prophet (PBUH) left Hazrat Ali radiyallahu anh in his bed at night and went out of the house. He took a handful of earth from the ground, threw it at the rabid polytheists and walked out of their midst without being seen by them. He traveled in the opposite direction to that of Madinah Munawwarah in order to mislead them. He came to the cave of Sevr. The polytheists, following his trail, came to the cave of Sevr. However, by the grace of Allah, a spider covered the mouth of the cave and a dove built a nest. The polytheists became convinced that no human had entered this cave and they turned back. That is how Allah spoils the traps of those who plot.

What is said in the video

...you can ask your (?). Surah Al-Anfal, verse 30: Remember when the disbelievers were plotting against you to seize and bind you or kill you or drive you out of your homeland. While they were plotting against you, Allah too was plotting against them. For Allah is the best of plotters, it says. Now, when we say Allah too plots, we will understand it like this. God forbid, not that Allah follows His ego and takes revenge on people this way. Why do people set traps? To take revenge on people. To satisfy their egos on them. Allah, however, within their destinies, for the continuation of people's lives, the events that are not to happen outside their destinies He prevents.

He prevents. That is the best of plotting. Allah does not set a trap for anyone out of egoistic feelings. He loves His servants, (?) so that His servants turn to Him. Yes. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) began to spread Islam in Mecca the Honored, when the disbelievers saw that people were slowly turning away from the idols they worshipped and entering Islam, the idolatrous polytheists plotted against the Prophet (peace be upon him) and wanted to do away with him. But the polytheists could not grasp that behind the Prophet (peace be upon him) was Allah, that no power or force could stand against Allah.

Increasing their own disbelief with the traps they set, at the Battle of Badr, filthy and impure, they passed on to their eternal abode, that evil destination, Hell.

According to the narration in the commentaries, the revelation of this verse came about as follows. When the Ansar, the people of Medina the Illuminated, accepted Islam, the Quraysh polytheists in Mecca the Honored, thinking that people would leave the idols the idol-worshippers worshipped, that these people would convert to Islam, became alarmed. Abu al-Bakhtari, Hisham ibn Amr, Abu Jahl, Tu'ayma ibn Adiy and other Meccan (?) gathered in Dar al-Nadwa. Against the Prophet (peace be upon him), to block his way and get rid of him, they begin to consult. Iblis too takes on the guise of an old man from the people of Najd and joins this consulting assembly.

First Abu al-Bakhtari says about the Prophet (peace be upon him): I think this: let us lock Muhammad in a house, give him food and drink through its window, and keep him there until he dies.

The representative of the people of Najd, the devil disguised as an old man, immediately objects to this proposal. If you lock him in such a house, surely his people will come and fight you. They will rescue him from your hands. Those in the consultation agreed with the words of the old Najdi. This time Hisham put forward an idea. He said: put him on a camel and drive him out from among you. Yes.

Then what he does can no longer harm you. And you will be rid of this. The old Najdi objected to this too. That is, that devil objected to this too. This is a bad idea. That man has corrupted your children too, and your foolish ones. If he is cast out like this, he will corrupt others besides you too. The beauty of his speech, the sweetness of his tongue, his words that touch hearts, do you not see them? By Allah, if you leave him free like that, he will go and make many people follow him. Then he will come and drive you out of your homeland. Yes, you speak the truth, they said, agreeing with Iblis.

Then the accursed Abu Jahl said: take one young man from every clan of Quraysh, give them swords, let them all attack Muhammad at once and kill him. That way his blood will be spread among the clans. And the Banu Hashim cannot go to war with the Quraysh. If they ask for blood money, we pay blood money and this matter is finished. The accursed Iblis steps forward and says, what this young man says is right, and they all consent to this idea. Seven young men are chosen from the Quraysh clans. With spears and swords in their hands, they surround the house of the Prophet (peace be upon him) at midnight.

At that, Allah Almighty informs His Beloved, the noble Muhammad (peace be upon him). That night the Prophet (peace be upon him) leaves in his bed Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and goes out of the house. He takes a handful of earth from the ground, throws it at the frenzied polytheists and passes through their midst unseen by the polytheists and leaves. To throw them off his track, he travels in the direction opposite the road to Medina the Illuminated. He comes to the cave of Thawr. The polytheists following his tracks come as far as the cave of Thawr. But by the grace of Allah a spider weaves over the mouth of the cave, and a dove builds a nest.

The polytheists become convinced that no one has entered this cave, and they turn back. Thus Allah foils the plot of the plotters. Yes.

Islam did not spread easily.

Many lives were given for Islam, and they, so that Allah's command would be fulfilled, gave their lives and reached the rank of martyrdom. (?) Then, this religion given to us as a trust, one does not know its worth. If we let the blood of those martyrs who gave their lives go for nothing, we will find it hard to answer for this before Allah.
