Al-Anfal 41: And know that one fifth of any spoils of war belong to Allah, Allah’s Messenger, the Messenger’s relatives, orphans, the poor and the wayfarer. Translation

And know that one fifth of any spoils of war belong to Allah, Allah’s Messenger, the Messenger’s relatives, orphans, the poor and the wayfarer. (This is) if you believe in Allah, and in what We have revealed to Our servant on the day, in which truth has been separated from the wrong and the two armies faced each other (in the battle of Badr).

Tafsir

Allah (swt), after inevitably proving His eternity to mankind, has revealed His miracles in order that His Verses may have an effect on mankind, and by revealing that He helped the Muslims with His angels at Badr, He has made it clear that His Verses must be observed, and that He promises Paradise in the Hereafter to those who obey them.

In this verse, Allah has proved His existence with miracles. He helped the Muslims with angels at Badr. He put His light in the hearts of those who believe in Allah and showed them the truths by giving them a breadth of perception to distinguish between truth and falsehood. We remind people that if you believe in Allah and what We have sent down to our servant, that is, the angels He sent down at the battle of Badr and the Qur'an revealed by Allah to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), one-fifth of anything you take as booty belongs to Allah, His Messenger, his relatives, orphans, the poor and the traveler. At the same time, it commands strict obedience to these Verses without objection.

Allah (swt) is truly omnipotent. Because Allah has programmed these worlds. Only Allah knows second by second what will happen until the Day of Resurrection. In this respect, He has placed His creations under His sovereignty. The beings He has created cannot go beyond Allah's rule. That is why Allah says that He is all-powerful.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Anfal, verse 41: If in Allah and, on the day truth and falsehood were separated,

the day the two armies met each other, at the Battle of Badr, in what We sent down to Our servant you have not believed, know that of anything you took as spoils, one fifth belongs to Allah — "if you have believed," we say. We said "have not believed." If you have believed, know that of anything you took as spoils one fifth belongs to Allah, to His Messenger, to his relatives, to the orphans, to the needy and to the traveler. Allah has full power over everything. One fifth of the spoils. The rest

is distributed to those people. Yes. After Allah Almighty inescapably proved to people that He is everlasting, so that His verses would have an effect on people, laying out the miracles He showed before people, at the Battle of Badr — "If you have believed in Allah," He says, in that battle. And not believing is impossible. His helping with angels. He lays this out before their eyes. And by making known that at night too He helped the Muslims with angels, He makes known that His verses must be observed, and that to those who are governed by the verses He has promised Paradise in the hereafter.

In this verse Allah Almighty has proven His existence with miracles.

With angels — that He is the Lord of the angels, that He helps people with them, so as to complete His religion. He helped the Muslims with certain angels. By placing His light in the hearts of those who believe in Allah, and with that light giving a breadth of understanding to distinguish truth from falsehood, He has shown the realities.

Reminding people of these: if in Allah and in what We sent down to Our servant, what We sent down to His servant Muhammad (peace be upon him), that is, in the Battle of Badr, in the angels I sent down, and in the Quran that came from Allah to Muhammad (peace be upon him) through revelation, you believe, of anything you took as spoils one fifth belongs to Allah, His Messenger, his relatives, the orphans, the needy and the traveler. At the same time He commands that these verses, without objection, to the letter, be obeyed. Do not just pass over the word "traveler." He may be very rich, may have had his money stolen, may be stranded on the road.

He suffers hardship. In this case, sending him back to his homeland, bringing that person to peace, rescuing him from that want — to Allah it is service. Here, in this case, how beautifully Allah proves how much He loves His servants. How beautifully He proves it. In this case, such a Master does not abandon us; He watches over and protects us, holds a light before us with His verses, and with His laws that will bring us to life makes us brothers to one another; toward our Lord who binds us to one another from the heart, how could we take Him lightly, turn our backs on His verses, or (?) be lax in His commands?

Here the last sentence of our word proves what we said. It belongs to His Messenger, his relatives, the orphans, the needy and travelers. At the same time He commands that these verses be obeyed to the letter, without objection. Allah Almighty, with truth, everything — with truth He has power over everything. He sees everything as it truly is. Because Allah has programmed these worlds. Only Allah knows, second by second, what will happen until the Day of Judgment. Therefore He has placed His creatures under His rule. The beings He created cannot go outside Allah's rule. That is why He declares that Allah has power over everything.

Allah Almighty has power over everything.
