(Indeed, their state is) just like the family of Pharaoh and the state of the former ones. They denied Allah’s verses. And We destroyed them due to their sins and drowned the family of Pharaoh (in the sea). They all were oppressors.

Tafsir

Those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger and seek a religion other than Islam are like the family of Pharaoh and those before them. Allah (swt) informs us in this verse that those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger, including those who will come until the Day of Judgment, have the same understanding. If we pay attention to the verse, by saying "their condition", He means those who lived in the past, those who live in our time and those who will live in the future, and He says that their condition, that is, the condition of those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger, is like the condition of the house of Pharaoh or those who preceded him. When he says that some people make their nafs as gods, he means those who claim to be gods like the house of Pharaoh, and when he says that it is like the state of those before him, he means those who worship idols and people, those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, and those who take Allah's Verses lightly. The verse goes on to say, "They denied the Verses of their Lord". It is because those who opposed Allah and His Messenger and asked for a miracle from Allah and still did not believe in Allah even after seeing this miracle that Allah Ta'ala took a public action against these people and destroyed them. Allah (swt) says in the verse, "And We destroyed them because of their sins"; they were destroyed as a result of their disbelief, incurring the wrath of Allah. He left Pharaoh as an example for the worlds. He drowned him in the Red Sea with his army. He destroyed some other tribes such as the people of Thamud, the people of Lot and the people of Saturday. And all of them were wrongdoers.

So, those who deny Allah and His Messenger by saying these things, and those who will live in the same understanding in our time and in the times to come, Allah (swt) warns with His Verses; O people! Do not be like these people. (Do you never think?) (Do you never use your minds?) (How little do you think?) According to the verses of the Qur'ân al-kerîm in which He says, obey Allah and His Messenger by heeding these verses, so that you will find salvation. Otherwise, we will be subjected to the verse that says they are wrongdoers, we will suffer calamities, and then we will have neither a helper nor an intercessor.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Anfal, verse 54. Yes, it says, their condition is like that of Pharaoh's family and those before them. What fine examples We give. They had denied the signs of their Lord. So We destroyed them for their sins and drowned Pharaoh's family in the sea. All of them were wrongdoers, it says. Wrongdoers. How do you know? Perhaps one would have turned back. Are there no converts from among the disbelievers, from among non-Muslims? Then why? All of them were destroyed.

Such a question may come to mind. All of it comes.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Ve iz ehaze rabbüke min benî Âdeme min zuhûrihim zürriyyetehüm ve eşhedehüm alâ enfüsihim, elestü bi rabbiküm. It rests on that. All of it. At that address "Am I not your Lord?" in the realm of Lahut, when our souls (?), since their wishes and desires became their destiny, and Allah Almighty says: of those who will come until the Day of Judgment there is not a single living being of which We do not know what it will not do; according to that verse, Allah Almighty, who wrote their wishes, desires and aims as their destiny, informs us of their state. The Creator informs us of their state.

What does the Creator say? Look, what does He say? All of them were wrongdoers, He says. Will you doubt Allah's justice, that He would destroy those among them who would turn back there together with them? Is that possible? Is there such a verse? Of course there are those among them who were saved. Together with their prophets: those who obeyed their prophets and what Allah said, Allah Almighty brought out of that town with them; on the others He rained stones, or destroyed them with a cry, a different sound, and they were gone. All of them were wrongdoers. Those who obeyed attained salvation by following their prophets.

So if Allah says all of them were wrongdoers, all of them were wrongdoers. And Pharaoh at their head: in Surah Yunus, verse 92, it says: today your lifeless body, it says, as a lesson for the worlds, We will save, it says. Yes. The British earlier, in the Red Sea, (?), in prostration found it, and they are displaying it in a museum in England.

The state of those who deny Allah and His Messenger, who seek a religion other than Islam, is like the state of Pharaoh's family and those before them. Who are those before them? The people of Ad, the people of Thamud, the people of Noah, the people of Lot, these. Because these, that is, those who deny Allah and His Messenger, including those who will come until the Day of Judgment, are of the same mindset, Allah Almighty makes known in this verse.

Technology is advancing. People are advancing too, their minds. Now you say here that those in the future are like their state. On what basis do you say that? Well, I rely on the verse. Which verse is it? Although little time had passed since those who were destroyed, how, it says, they came to resemble their forefathers.

Yes. And today we look, we look. The same talk, just like the talk in the time of the Prophet. (?) Those who live the religion of Islam yet are ruled by superstitions, against those who speak the truth how nicely they make slanders, by way of smearing. Huh? Between the Prophet speaking the truth and those idolaters turning their backs on the truth, and today one speaking the truth in the light of the verses and those ruled by (?) standing against the truth, what difference is there?

When Hazrat Mahdi begins his task, he will suffer most from these superstitious ones. He will fight them. They will fight the Prophet. They will fight with (?). Those superstitious ones.

That's why we see these today too. We see them very well.

Today we come to those resemblances in the verse. Now what state have we written? In what state? There are more than 500 errors. I mean, there can be no error in the verse. God forbid. In what state? These errors: although the human mind was created as a follower of what is right, people, with feelings of the nafs, immediately start rebelling. Who are they? Prejudiced, opinionated people.

For a person to be able to speak what is right, he must have evidence in hand. Every person who speaks without evidence is a person who is baseless and in (?). Or else he is a person who talks at random. And the words of one who talks at random gain no value. In this case a person must have the ability to make comparisons. If he cannot compare, it means this person is not using his mind. And Allah Almighty says in the Quran: do you not use your minds at all?

Some say: this is an advertisement. An advertisement, just look at you. That person is going to advertise with the Quran. As if he had nothing else to do. Allah protect us, look at the word he says. It's an advertisement, he says. Another says: in 1400 years, has no one intelligent ever appeared, he says, that this clever one writes this, he says. Don't believe this fake sheikh, he says. Fake sheikh. After 1400 years, it now comes out that these words come from the nafs. Look, against the truth, though a person should critique the right and the crooked, though they should critique, those who, far from critiquing, with feelings of the nafs, with prejudice and ruled by superstitions, how they set themselves against the truth like armor, planted in front of the truth.

But according to the verse "the truth has come and falsehood has vanished", these melt away before the truth, and they are not even ashamed of their state. They feel no sense of shame either. They don't. Why? Because their arteries are torn. If they were ruled by the truth, they would stand behind the words they say. We stand behind every word we say. Every word we say. In this case these superstitions, superstitions, in all this time, 1400 years, he says. Not 1400 years; within 150 to 170 years superstitions crept in. We are cleaning out those superstitions. Since that person is prejudiced, we don't take his words seriously.

As we always say, every two hundred years Islam goes through five changes of state. Five states. Let's say them. One: the cleansing of falsehood. The cleansing of falsehood. Two: each of them lasts forty years.

The rise of Islam. Three: Islam staying at the peak. Four: The decline of Islam. Five: falsehood entering Islam. Allah Almighty sends, every 100 years, a mujtahid, and every 200 years a qutb al-aqtab. And through those mujtahids, as far as they can, and through that Qutb al- Aqtab, He has superstitions removed from the religion. And we are now cleaning out these superstitions as our task, cleaning out the superstitions. There are many more beyond 504, but we are ashamed to write some of them, because they carry two meanings. In this case, since we have set the basic rule, praise be to Allah, we have freed Allah from being given attributes.

This is not an advertisement for the Quran.

If people act with prejudice, they are the ones who wrong themselves.

People say: does this man know Arabic?

The Quran was revealed in eloquent Arabic. But their language is not sufficient either to understand. Hodja, despite university, in their language, how to understand? That is, these are not enough without meaning. That is, without understanding it is not enough. He says: to whomever We give knowledge, We give wisdom. Where are they hiding this verse?

Arabic is of no use. Here, in this matter, Arabic is of no use. Now what is this like? Let's open this up a bit for you: someone reads Arabic (?), or, leave Arabic aside, someone studies on a motor course, studies on a motor course, reads it in books; and another one

starts as an apprentice, works on motors. Through his own hands-on work he becomes a master of motors. But he has not read a single book. Now bring the one who read the book to the motor: he can't do anything. And he can't even lay a hand anywhere. But the one who didn't read the book, who grew up with it from the core? He repairs motors very well. Now the unlettered people whom Allah raises are like that. Those with high intellect, who enter through the door of that knowledge and are raised by Allah Himself, who are given wisdom as well as knowledge: beside this, Arabic is of no use.

People who live unaware of this. These are the people Allah Almighty raises every 100 years and every 200 years. If this person says, I am unlettered, I don't know, that's how I am, my Lord raises me, yet sees an alif and takes it for a rafter, and makes false judgments about the verses, then he is an utter deviant. It's this clear. Use your minds. Allah has given you a mind. Yes.

And it says: yes, their condition is like the condition of Pharaoh's family and those before them. They had denied the signs of their Lord. So We destroyed them for their sins. And We drowned Pharaoh's family in the sea. All of them were wrongdoers. That is, they were people taking revenge on their own selves. Allah wrongs no one.

Is there a verse? Of course there is. We wrong no soul, He says. They wrong their own souls. I do not speak outside the verses. Always verses. Allah's verses. My speech is evidence before Allah's verses. The state of those who deny Allah and His Messenger, who seek a religion other than Islam, is like the state of Pharaoh's family and those before them. Because these, that is, those who deny Allah and His Messenger, including those to come until the Day of Judgment, are of the same mindset, Allah Almighty in this verse makes known. The verse: if we pay attention to this verse, in saying "their condition" it means those who lived in the past, those living in our time and those living in the future.

Their condition, that is, the condition of those who deny Allah and His Messenger, is like that of Pharaoh's dynasty or those before it, says Allah Almighty. Some people, by deifying their nafs.

By saying "have you not seen the one who deifies his nafs", like Pharaoh's dynasty, those who claim to be god, and like the state of those before them. In saying that: there are those who worship idols and people. There are even those who worship Satan. Satan, the sun. Yes.

It refers to those who oppose Allah and His Messenger and take Allah's verses lightly. Indeed, continuing the verse: they had denied the signs of their Lord, He declares. So those who, opposing Allah and His Messenger, ask Allah for a miracle, although they see the miracle shown, because they still do not believe in Allah, Allah Almighty, against these peoples, (?), destroys them.

People may ask for a miracle. They may want to see a karamah. When Allah shows that karamah or miracle, not in karamah but in miracle: a prophet, from the prophet they would ask for a miracle. If Allah shows that miracle and those who see it do not believe, then they are destroyed. Like what? Like the people of Salih. With the yellow camel coming out of the rock, and their cutting the camel's legs and killing it, Allah Almighty destroyed them.

Yes.

Yes. It's the same anyway. Continuing the verse, He declares: they had denied the signs of their Lord. So those who, opposing Allah and His Messenger, ask Allah for a miracle, although they see this miracle shown, because they still do not believe in Allah, Allah Almighty, against these peoples, (?), destroys them. Allah Almighty, continuing the verse, had said: so We destroyed them for their sins. As a result of the denial they committed, they incurred Allah's wrath and were destroyed. Well, so many people today perhaps commit acts even worse than theirs. Why are these not destroyed? Hasn't Allah Almighty committed injustice here?

He has not. What mattered was that you say He has not. Explain it to us. I'll explain. Whoever transgresses Allah Almighty's limits, Allah destroys them. Until when? Until the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Why? What's the difference between them and the others? The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came as a mercy to the worlds. Mercy. And he is alive. He tasted death; he is alive. Under mercy there is no destruction. If there were destruction under mercy, the verses would fall into contradiction with one another. In this case, instead of destruction, Allah Almighty gives afflictions.

Perhaps worse than destructions. How many people died in those tsunamis. Yes. Our eyes see it. In this case, if destructions were lifted for the sake of His Beloved and afflictions are given, afflictions, and people still understand nothing from them, is it Allah who wrongs them?

If only, He says, they had implored Us in the face of the afflictions We gave, He says, and He says it beautifully.

Yes.

Allah has an unerring justice.

As a result of the denial they committed, they incurred Allah's wrath and were destroyed. He left Pharaoh as an example to the worlds; with his army He drowned him in the Red Sea. Some peoples, like the people of Thamud, the people of Lot, the people of the Sabbath, He also destroyed. All of these are wrongdoers, He declares. So "these" means those who deny Allah and His Messenger. Those who will live with the same mindset in our time and in future times, Allah Almighty warns through His verse: O people, do not be like these people. Do you never reflect? Do you never use your minds? How little you reflect.

According to the verses in which He says this, heed these verses and obey Allah and His Messenger so that you may attain salvation. Otherwise one falls under the verse in which He says "they are wrongdoers", and meets afflictions. Then neither a helper nor an intercessor will be found for us. Yes.

In this case people will use their minds. They will not rebel against the truth. At least they will give thanks for the blessings He gives. They will give thanks.
